LEGEND: Welcome to Monday Night Rampage. We come to you live from Houston, Texas. I’m Johnny Legend here with my broadcast partner TB, Tom Briggs.
BRIGGS: Thanks Legend, tonight we get to see Dan “Dragon” Taylor and the world heavyweight champion, Alan Foulds in action.
LEGEND: And let’s not forget who they take on in the main event. In a tables match, right here in Houston, they face The Predator and the number 1 contender, Ernest Bethea.
BRIGGS: And speaking of Bethea and Foulds... what about our upcoming pay-per-view?
LEGEND: That’s right TB, Fantasy Wrestling Federation presents FWF Genesis II ...live from Madison Square Gardens, Friday 29th April. The match card is already starting to take shape. The FWF Women's title will be on the line when Kopy Cat defends her newly won belt against Raevyn Nocturne in an April Fools rematch.
BRIGGS: In a 3 stages of Hell. Number 1; a plain old single
LEGEND: Number 2; a razor-glass match. And number 3; an inferno match.
BRIGGS: I can’t believe Mike Farrell would put these two in a match like this.
“Don’t Push Me ‘Cause I’m Close to the Edge” plays as Knuckles enters to a cheering crowd. He then makes his way to the ring.
CHARLES: The following match scheduled is for one fall. Introducing first ...from Brooklyn, New York ...Knuckles!
”Thuganomics” by John Cena begins to play and the crowd continue to cheer. After a moment, Street Thug makes his way out. He walks down to the ring, rapping along with the song.
CHARLES: And his opponent ...from Canada ...he is the FWF Hardcore Champion ...Street Thug.
The bell rings. Thug runs at Knuckles and gets drop toe held. Knuckles grabs Thug’s arms and picks him up, with a full-nelson locked in. Thug swirls under Knuckles and applies a hammerlock. Knuckles grabs hold of Thug’s head and takes him down to the mat in a stunner sort of way, Thug still has the hammerlock applied.
BRIGGS: I would not have put these two down as technical wrestlers.
Knuckles rolls out, nips himself up then wristlocks Street Thug. Thug roles through, moves Knuckles over to the ropes and Irish-whips him. Knuckles ducks the clothesline and goes for one of his own. Thug ducks then gets superkicked by Knuckles. He covers. ...1 ...2. Thug gets his foot on the bottom rope.
LEGEND: A win against a champion could give Knuckles the psychological advantage going into Genesis.
Knuckles picks Thug up, Irish-whips him into the corner, goes for a stinger splash but Thug moves out of the way, bounces against the ropes and hits Knuckles with a vicious clothesline. Thug picks Knuckles up and delivers 3 European uppercuts to him. Knuckles responds by hitting Thug into the corner with 2 forearm smashes. Knuckles raises Thug onto the top rope and gives him a superplex.
BRIGGS: Ouch!
LEGEND: Superplex from Knuckles. Street Thug is down!
Knuckles climbs the turnbuckle. He then leaps off, connecting with a Five-Star-Frog-Splash, going straight into the cover. ...1 ...2 ...3. The bell sounds.
CHARLES: Here is your winner ...Knuckles!
Thug gets up with an angry look in his eye, and sweat dripping off his face. The crowd are silent. Knuckles then holds out his hand and the two professionals shake. The crowd cheer loudly.
LEGEND: That’s good sportsmanship.
As Thug exits, Knuckles gets hold of a microphone from ring announcer, Phil Charles.
KNUCKLES: Genesis eh! In the beginning? Well it all began about a year ago. It was about a year ago, when the Enemy started. It was going to be the greatest stable of all time. It was, up until last week. There was a line. You can't see it Dragon, because you stepped so far over it. Well I'm issuing a challenge to you. In the beginning? This is a new beginning. What do you say? Genesis, April 29th ...Knuckles vs Dan "Dragon" Taylor!
BRIGGS: Whoah.
LEGEND: The challenge has been made. We’re gonna take a short break, but do not go anywhere.
