Blue spotlights circle the arena as “Sparkle and Shine” by Econoline Crush plays. The titantron screen shows the Live-Wire logo, until an image of Wild Bill Legend smiling fades in, causing boos from the crowd.
BETHEA: Welcome to Live-Wire. I’m Ernest “The Beast” Bethea.
STRACHON: And I’m Sam “The Man” Strachon.
BETHEA: War Zone is closing in and that’s exactly what it’s been for the past few weeks on Live-Wire.
STRACHON: And after the events of last week, Mike Farrell has made the match between the Universal champion “Dragonfly” Danny T. and “Super” Benny Starr.
BETHEA: And speaking of the Universal Champion, there will be a number one contender’s match for that title. Four FWF Warriors will battle it out for a chance to face the DDT Kid at FWF War Zone VI.
STRACHON: The tag team division kicks off once more and at War Zone, James Stall and Marcus Thomas Brody will take on the Weird World Order. Tonight they face The Devil and Couch Potato respectively in single’s competition.
BETHEA: And in our main event, we have a War Zone showcase. CMF has sent Pain and “The” Ross Walker to battle it out against WBL’s team of Christian Lee and Sah’ta Thor.
A purple light surrounds the arena as "Poison" by Alice Cooper plays. After a moment, Danny T. enters the arena. He takes no notice of the crowd and instead heads straight for the ring where he takes the microphone from ring announcer, Phil Charles.
BETHEA: Well, it looks like the Dragonfly has something to say.
DANNY: Well it seems that WBL has it in for me and everything that my father stands for. Last week, he sent out one of his mob members and I lost. So tonight, I’m…
Danny is cut off by the sound of “Simply the Best” by Tina Turner. The crowd erupt into loud boos as Benny Starr makes his way out with a microphone.
STARR: Hold on just a minute. You better watch what you say, Butterfly.
BETHEA: Butterfly?
STRACHON: Genius.
STARR: Y’see, our leader Wild Bill Legend unfortunately can’t be here tonight, but before he left, he told me two things. The first is… I’ve had a raise and I’m now earning £2,000,001.
STRACHON: Highest paid Warrior in FWF.
STARR: The second thing he said… is that I’m in charge. So I can book you in any match I want this week.
BETHEA: This can’t be good.
STARR: How about… a hardcore match? Or what about… a Devil’s Advocate match?
BETHEA: Not that. He still hasn’t recovered from Genesis.
STARR: Or what about…
DANNY: Now you hold on. I sort of had a feeling something like this would happen, so before you go making matches, allow me to introduce you to a couple of friends.
“Sparkle and Shine” by Econoline Crush plays again. Camisado, James Bohne, King of Kings, James Stall and Marcus Brody all make their way out. Benny turns to face them looking scared.
STRACHON: What the? They can’t do this!
BETHEA: FWF Warriors are here! I don’t like Benny’s chances.
Benny tries to run to the back, but James and Brody grab hold of him. James then connects with the Tornado Kick, causing Benny to stumble down the ramp. The other Warriors follow and James and Brody throw him into the ring before they all get in.
BETHEA: Fantasy Wrestling Federation are taking revenge.
Camisado hooks Benny from behind. He then nails the STPR. Benny slowly begins to get up. King of Kings kicks him in the stomach and hooks both of his arms. The crowd cheer as he nails the Pedigree. Suddenly, “Last Resort” by Papa Roach plays.
STRACHON: Get out of there, Benny!
BETHEA: Here comes the boss!
Mike Farrell enters the arena to a huge ovation. He walks down the ramp and gets into the ring as King lifts Benny up. Mike kicks Benny in the stomach and quickly executes the Stunner. Danny makes the cover and Farrell counts. …1 …2 …3.
STRACHON: That’s not fair.
BETHEA: It’s entirely fair, Sam. Benny Starr got what he deserved.
CHARLES: The winner of the match …”Dragonfly” Danny T!
BETHEA: CMF’s Warriors are looking powerful tonight.
STRACHON: But will that be the case at War Zone.
BETHEA: Will it be the case in our main event tonight? Stay tuned to Stampede TV to find out.

The lights dim as Fozzy’s “Enemy” begins to play. “The” Ross Walker steps out to huge cheers from the crowd, but is noticeably more reserved than usual, simply raising his arm in acknowledgement of the reaction.
BETHEA: It is so great to see this man back in FWF!
STRACHON: But why is he back, Beast? Why would he side with the people he fought against for years?
BETHEA: I’m sure we’ll find out soon enough, Sam. But for now, he’s here to say some words about his former mentor, the late, great, Dan “Dragon” Taylor.
As Ross rolls into the ring, he picks up a microphone left on the ring apron. He stands in the centre of the ring and raises a hand, asking for silence.
WALKER: I remember when I retired Dan Taylor.
There are some scattered boos in the crowd.
WALKER: February 2007, Genesis IV. For six months, we kicked the living shit out of each other, all around the world, and this was the culmination. Dan had the upper hand on me at this point, but I pulled it off. I beat him. Retired him. It was great. I’d beaten the best in the business, and showed I belonged at the top. Better yet, Dan Taylor would never show his face in a wrestling ring again.
The scattered boos from the crowd have now intensified.
WALKER: But then, four months later, he came back. I should have known, really. Nothing would keep Dan Taylor out of an FWF ring. Mandated retirements, knee pain, amputation, old age, nothing, NOTHING. Dan “Dragon” Taylor was one of the most tenacious, athletic warriors ever seen in an FWF ring. Even in his dying days, Dan Taylor wanted only the best for FWF, and would give anything, even his life, to protect the honour of the name of Fantasy Wrestling Federation.
The fans let out a huge cheer.
WALKER: But then, along comes Wild Bill Legend. W-B-L.
The cheering immediately cascades into an intense chorus of boos.
WALKER: Thinks he’s the man, His big oil companies can drag FWF out of the financial shithole, he can do whatever the fuck he wants – yeah, I know this is live, fucking sue me! – thinks he can do whatever the fuck he wants to the company! Thinks he can piss on the legacy of FWF! Well, I’ve got news for you Billy, I BUILT THIS SHIT!
The crowd emits an uproarious cheer.
WALKER: I BUILT THIS! Me, Pain, The Predator, Don Lepore, Ernest Bethea...
BETHEA: YEAH!
WALKER: ...X-Ecutioner, The Fizz, Dark Mark Lloyd, Darien Nicholas Adams, Marcus Brody...
STRACHON: U-C-DUB!
WALKER: ...Camisado, Alan Foulds, Sean Savour, Tyson Fehr, Dynamite fucking D!
The crowd’s cheers subside slightly at the mention of Dynamite D.
WALKER: All people who, no matter how much or how little they contributed to FWF, would not want to see this company pissed on in the way that it has been under the leadership of Bill Legend! I’ll tell you something now, Dan “Dragon” Taylor is turning in his fucking grave!
A chant of “D-D-T!” breaks out. Ross becomes visibly and uncharacteristically emotional.
WALKER: Dan... You never allowed me to apologise to you for all the shit I put you through, and in all honesty, I probably deserved it. However, there is no fucking way I will allow your legacy to be shit on like this! This is my apology to you, Daniel Taylor! My idol... My mentor... My friend... For you, Dan, I will restore FWF to its former glory! FWF will be run in the way it was always intended to be run!
The crowd’s cheers refuse to die down.
WALKER: Because Dan “Dragon” Taylor is... Better!
The crowd follow with a unanimous chant of “Better!”
WALKER: Than!
“Than!”
WALKER: You!
“You!” The crowd’s chants are deafening, as Ross points to the sky in memory of his fallen mentor and foe, before symbolically exiting to the sound of Fozzy’s “Enemy”.
BETHEA: Mighty fine words from “The” Ross Walker. He will be in our main event tonight. You do not want to miss it.

BETHEA: Welcome back to Live-Wire. We just saw Ross Walker make a point to the Fantasy Wrestling Federation, but what does that mean for the PayPerView War Games.
STRACHON: Well, we sure know that these two are going to be a forced to reckon with come then.
BETHEA: : But what we do know is that The Devil and James Stall will be at the PayPerView in a tag team match, but tonight they face in a singles match… and that’s next.
A blue light surrounds the arena as "TNT” by ACDC plays. After a moment, James Stall makes his way into the entrance way from behind the curtain with a cocky look on his face. After a brutal attack last week in the FWF gym, he was sure as hell in the advantage. The crowd has a mixed reaction as he stands there for a few seconds just basking in the cheers. Then Stall makes his way down to the ring, and slides into the ring. He stands there as he waits for his opponent to face him.
BETHEA: Well, James certainly looks confident, that’s for sure.
STRACHON: Well, he sure has a reason to be. He has beaten the Devil in a tag team match, and the Devil is yet to beat him.
The camera heads up to view the top of the entrance when all of a sudden "A Day To Remember - I'm Made Of Wax, Larry, What Are You Made Of" begins to play over the PA System. The crowd all goes silent as all of a sudden from the entrance way a man comes from behind the curtain. He flings his arms up in the air as to say I am here. The crowd begins to boo as he just stands there for a few seconds. He keeps his hands in the air as he spins around and then starts to walk down the ramp into the ring.
CHARLES: And his opponent …from Lawrence, Massachusetts …weighing in at 245 pounds …The Devil!
The bell rings as the two competitors circle each other. They try a test of strength and Stall wins it, He throws Devil into the ropes and as he returns he hits him with a clothesline. Stall puts a couple of boots into the side of Devil and he smiles as he has control.
STRACHON: Look at this. He just smiles as he knows he has control. He better keep his eye on the Devil or that will surely come to haunt him.
BETHEA: You know Strachon, that is absolutely correct. Sometimes you have to let your ego go and keep your eye on your opponent.
Stall pulls Devil back to his feet and he tries a DDT, but Devil wiggles out of the predicament and counters with a european uppercut to the chin of Stall. He grabs Stall and hits a strong suplex. Devil tries a pin. ...1 ...2. Stall kicks out.
STRACHON: He almost had him there beast!
BETHEA: Did the Devil seriously think that he was going to be able to win the match with a suplex?
STRACHON: You got to try or you will never win.
BETHEA: That makes no sense, do you think before you talk?
Stall kicks out of the pin and a light cheer is heard through the arena. Devil pulls Stall back onto his feet and he now tries a DDT which connects with force. He stands up and he taunts to the crowd which results in boo's. Devil turns around and suddenly gets floored with a dropkick in his face. Stall stands tall and just as he tries to pull Devil to the center of the ring he slides out of the ring.
STRACHON: Smart move by the Devil. The fans do not like it, but as a wrestler and a true wrestling fan, it was a smart move.
BETHEA: Yeah it sure was but now he is in a tough position with him outside the right and Stall up and waiting on the inside.
Devil smiles as he takes a breather on the outside. But Stall was quicker and he launches himself from the opposite ropes, he runs up to Devil and he hits him with a baseball slide that causes Devil to get launched into the safety barricade.
BETHEA: That move to the outside, just bit him in the ass.
Stall walks to Devil and he lays some kicks into his body. After a lot of kicks Stall picks up Devil and tosses him back into the ring. Stall takes a minute to connect with the fans and as he climbs into the ring Devil punches him in the gut. He grabs James and he hits him with a huge suplex. Devil goes for a pin and hooks both legs. ...1 ...2. Stall kicks out again and Devil is starting to become frustrated.
BETHEA: Here comes Devil’s temper. He has to keep it under control if he is going to take full control and complete the match.
Devil stands up and he takes a breather at the ropes. As James tries to get back to the feet Devil pushes him into the corner. But Stall manages to fight off Devil and connects with a strong kick to the head. As Devil lies on the ground James quickly goes for the turnbuckle and he climbs up to the top. He smiles to the crowd and he jumps off, hitting the 450 Splash and immediately goes for the pin. ...1 ...2. Devil manages to kick out and Stall shakes his head in confusion thinking he almost won.
STRACHON: That was the closest that Stall has come to the victory. What does Stall need to do to finish off the Devil, I thought for sure he would have him with the 450 splash.
BETHEA: It is going to take a lot more than that to finish off him.
STRACHON: This man was a future FWF Heavyweight Champion, a 450 splash is not going to get the win.
Frustrated he pulls up Devil and he throws him to the rings. As Devil returns Stall tries a clothesline but Devil ducks under and hits a nice neck breaker. He waits for Stall to climb back to his feet and he immediatly hits a kick in the stomach of James Stall. Devil then gets a sadistic look on the face and he goes for the Stylin' an' Dialin'. It connects. Devil goes for the pin. ...1 ...2 ...3.
CHARLES: The winner of the match …The Devil!
STRACHON: He did it Beast! He now is on a 2 match winning streak, but can his partner be as lucky.
BETHEA: We will find out after the break as Marcus Thomas Brody takes on Couchie after the break.

Watagatapitusberry by blackpoint plays on the P.A. as Couch Potato enters riding a child's big wheel.
CHARLES: Ladies and Gentlemen please welcome ...from New York City, Jamaica ...Couch Potato!
The UCW theme hits as Marcus Thomas Brody comes through the curtain. He walks down the ramp, slapping fans hands, and slides into the ring, raising his right fist in the air when he stands up.
CHARLES: And his opponent ...from Asthon-under-Lyne ...Marcus Thomas Brody!
BETHEA: Welcome back to Live-Wire. Earlier the Devil beat James Stall. Now their resective tag partners meet each other in a singles match.
Couchie and Marcus grapple with each other in the ring. Couchie throws Marcus aside. Marcus climbs to his feet, but Couchie hits him with a dropkick and Marcus falls through the ropes.
STRACHON: Marcus Thomas Brody isn't going to win this match if he can't even stay in the ring.
BETHEA: Don't you usually root for the UCW guys?
STRACHON: He's got to prove himself to be a true UCW guy first.
Brody slides back into the ring and gets to his feet, but Couchie nails him with a spear. He follows with a Boston Crab. Marcus tries to get to the ropes, but Couchie pulls him away. Marcus reaches out his hand. He still can't reach the ropes, but he refuses to tap. Couchie tightens his hold. Marcus is resilient and manages to crawl and grab the ropes. ...1 ...2 ...3 ...4. Couchie reluctantly relinquishes his hold.
BETHEA: And Marcus withstands the Boston Crab.
STRACON: He got out of one submission hold. I'm still not impressed.
Marcus climbs to his feet and Couchie quickly hits him in the knees with a dropkick before putting him in a sharpshooter. Marcus still manages to make it to the ropes. ...1 ...2 ...3 ...4. Couchie let's go again.
STRACHON: Couch Potato is targetting those legs.
BETHEA: It's years of abuse like that that led to his mentor's bad knee. That's why the Predator had to retire.
STRACHON: He is not the Predator.
Couchie waits for Marcus to get up and then hits him with a DDT. He places Marcus in a headlock, but Marcus gets a foot on the ropes. ...1 ...2 ...3 ...4. Couchie lets go again. Marcus gets up. Couchie charges hit him, but Marcus hits him with a spear. He follows up with a suplex. Keeping his hold locked in Marcus lifts Couchie into the air yet again. He holds him up in the air for a few seconds before sending him crashing down with a suplex.
BETHEA: And now Marcus as taken charge of this match.
Marcus hits Couchie with a leg drop. He covers. ...1. Couchie easily kicks out. He rolls Marcus up. ...1 ...2. Marcus kicks out. Both warriors climb to their feet and grapple with each other. Marcus manages to hit Couchie with a snap suplex. Couchie gets up and Marcus hits him with an elbow. Couch turns around and Marcus hits him with a reverse suplex. He then picks up Couchie and nails him with a German suplex.
BETHEA: We're seeing an array of suplexes from the son of the "Human Suplex Machine."
Marcus keeps his hold and lifts Couchie into a second German suplex. He then hits a release German Suplex, sending Couchie across the ring. Couchie rolls out of the ring to catch his breath. He goes to climb in, but Marcus hits him with a baseball slide. He climbs out after Couchie.
BETHEA: Marcus Thomas Brody is taking this fight outside of the ring.
Brody hits Couchie with a right hand. ...1. He kicks Couchie in the stomach and throws him into the steel ring steps. ...2. He moves toward Couchie, but Couchie catches him with an elbow. ...3. Couchie drives Marcus into the barricade. ...4. Marcus battles back and rams Couchie into the ring apron. ...5. He slides Couchie back into the ring. He follows. Couchie gets up and Marcus hits him with a suplex. He covers. ...1 ...2. Couchie kicks out.
BETHEA: Brody almost won there.
STRACHON: Almost.
Marcus picks Couchie up and Irish Whips him into the turnbuckle. Couchie stgaggers forward and hits him with a stunner. He follows with a suplex. He picks Couchie up from behind and hits a german suplex. He finishes him with a fisherman suplex pin. ...1 ...2 ...3.
BETHEA: And Marcus Thomas Brody picks up another win.
STRACHON: There may behope for this kid yet.
BETHEA: We'll be back after this.

BETHEA: Welcome back to Live-Wire. It has been an explosive night so far.
STRACHON: And things are far from over.
BETHEA: Absolutely. Coming up next we have a fatal four way to determine the number one contender for the FWF Universal Championship at War Zone.
STRACHON: And whoever wins will have an advantage as “Dragonfly” Danny T will compete in two matches.
BETHEA: Let’s go over to Phil Charles for the announcements.
CHARLES: The following fatal-four-way match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first…
Orange and aqua blue spotlights aimlessly search the arena until "Composure" by August Burns Red hits the P.A. system. Around twenty seconds into the song, there's a short break in the music. Once the music begins again, Camisado jumps from behind the curtains of the entrance. He stands still in an orange spotlight, closes his eyes, and cracks his knuckles on his right hand.
BETHEA: It’s nice to see Cam back here in FWF.
Camisado slowly walks down the entrance ramp towards the ring. Small aqua-and-red pyros burst on either side of the ramp simultaneous with his steps. The lights have continued to move along with the seemingly unpredictable drumbeat. He leisurely pulls himself up into the ring via the top rope.
CHARLES: …from Louisville, Kentucky …weighing in at 209 pounds …Camisado!
Over the Mountain hits the PA as blue lights flood the arena. James makes his way to the stage to a chorus of cheers. He shrugs off the cheers from the crowd thinking he's too badass to associate with them, secretly loving every second of it. He casually makes his way down the ramp giving the nod to several fans in the front row as he passes them. He slides in under the bottom rope, and makes his way to the turnbuckle annoyingly slow. When he gets to the top rope he raises his left fist in the air as the blue lights stop, and the normal arena lights come back on.
CHARLES: And his opponent …from Salem, New Hampshire …weighing in at 242 pounds …James Bohne!
The light fades and The Pursuit of Vikings starts. As Oswald appears on the stage the light comes back on and smoke starts to cover the stage. Oswald holds his axe up high and roars. He then places the axe in its sheath on his back. As he walks towards the ring, he drinks mjöd from an ox horn. He slowly steps into the ring, and takes his coat and helmet off after which he climbs the nearest turnbuckle and drinks some more mjöd.
CHARLES: And their opponent …hailing from Denmark …weighing in at 185 kilograms …Oswald Brodd!
“Crucify the Dead” by Slash featuring Ozzy Ozbourne plays. Joe Page enters the arena in a black trench coat. He walks down the ramp and gets into the ring before removing his coat.
CHARLES: And finally …from Derby, England …weighing in at 255 pounds …”King of Kings” Joe Page.
BETHEA: What a feature this is. Three former world champions and the longest reigning FWF Hardcore Champion in the ring at the same time.
The bell sounds and the four Warriors remain in their corner for a while. Brodd then steps into the middle. King accepts the challenge and goes for a right hand, but Brodd ducks and grabs him in a waistlock. He then throws Page over with a Danish Suplex.
BETHEA: Of course, Brodd is the bigger man in this match, weighing in at 309 pounds.
James tries to raise Brodd in the fireman’s carry for the Bohned, but Brodd resists and grabs James before taking him down with a Danish Legsweep. Camisado then runs at Brodd but is cut off by a Danish Uppercut.
BETHEA: And the Viking Warrior is in control.
Suddenly, both Page and Bohne charge at Brodd with clothesline, forcing Brodd over the top rope and the outside. The two warriors look at each other before they begin to exchange blows. Camisado leaps into action with a double dropkick, knocking both men down, who then roll to the outside, leaving Camisado in the ring on his own.
BETHEA: And the smallest man in the match stands alone.
STRACHON: Is he still neurotic from the inside out?
Camisado begins to stamp the mat, causing the crowd to clap along as the three warriors on the outside get up. Camisado then bounces against one side of the ring before leaping over the top rope with a suicide dive.
STRACHON: I wish people’d warn us before they do that!
BETHEA: Camisado wants this so much. If he won the Universal Championship, then he’d join The Predator, Don Lepore and Dan “Dragon” Taylor as Grandslammers.
Camisado picks James up and rolls him into the ring before jumping onto the apron and quickly ascending the turnbuckle. James gets up and Camisado leaps off with a flying lariat, going straight into the cover. …1 …James kicks out.
BETHEA: Cam is trying to win this match as fast as he can.
STRACHON: If I had opponents like he has, I’d do the same.
As James gets up, Camisado picks him up into the fireman’s carry, but James quickly jumps off behind him. He then lifts Camisado up and hits him with a backbreaker. He picks Camisado up and hooks his head. He then takes him over with a suplex before covering. …1 …Camisado kicks out.
BETHEA: Brodd and King of Kings have to be careful. The match could end while their on the outside.
King of Kings gets into the ring. Noticing this, Bohne charges at him, but Joe Page nails a Spinebuster. Camisado gets up and runs at Page, but receives the same. He covers James. …1 …2. James kicks out and King quickly pins Camisado. …1 …2. Camisado kicks out.
STRACHON: I think Brodd has hurt himself, Beast. He’s been on the outside for a while now.
Page picks Camisado up and hooks his head. He then raises him into the air. He holds him up as the crowd begin to count. When they get to ten, King falls back executing the full suplex. Before he has chance to cover, James grabs Joe and throws him over the top. James then covers Camisado.
STRACHON: He’s gonna steal it!
…1 …2. Camisado kicks out. James picks Camisado up and raises him into the fireman’s carry. He tries to hit the Bohned, but Camisado rolls off of James’ shoulders, hooking his head in a reverse facelock as he does so. He then nails the STPR.
BETHEA: Something that produces results. This match is over.
Camisado goes for the cover. …1 …2 …Page reaches into the ring from the outside and grabs Camisado’s leg before pulling him out of the ring. Camisado gets up and slaps King across the face.
STRACHON: That probably wasn’t the best idea.
King then hits Camisado with a right hand and the two begin to brawl. James slowly gets up and watches them, waiting. Brodd quickly gets into the ring and as James turns around, Brodd charges at him with the Clothesline from Valhalla. He then goes for the cover. …1 …2 …3.
CHARLES: The winner of the match …Oswald Brodd!
STRACHON: Aha… the Viking Warrior is the new number one contender to the Universal Championship.
BETHEA: He stole one there.
STRACHON: How so?
BETHEA: Smart thinking by Oswald Brodd… He stayed silent for most of the match, but exploded into action when it counter.
STRACHON: And what about Camisado and King of Kings? They’re still going at it.
BETHEA: Well, folks, we’ll keep you informed. Don’t go anywhere… the main event is up next.

BETHEA: And we are back here on Live-Wire. It’s been an incredible show so far and all good things must come to an end.
STRACHON: But something must happen before that end.
BETHEA: And what would that be, Sam?
STRACHON: The MAAAAAAAAAIN EVENT!
CHARLES: The following tag team match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first…
As the music breaks out golden pyro explodes and drips down from the titantron creating a shower of gold and yellow as Christian Lee walks out at the top of the ramp with his arms out to sides spinning around as if in aura of himself. He makes his way down the red carpet that is the ramp down to the ring. As he walks down the ramp silver and gold pyro set off all along either side of him as he struts his way down to the ring and slides under the bottom rope to the ring. He then climbs the turnbuckle and raises his arms and beats on his chest and drops down, Lee then makes his way towards the ropes and stands on the middle rope and taunts the fans.
CHARLES: …now residing in Hollywood, California …weighing in at 274 pounds …Christian Lee!
Blood red strobe lights pulse through the arena as Parasite by Disturbed starts to blare from the speakers. The music and the pulsing lights cause the crowd to look up in interest. As the opening verse reaches it's peak Thor steps from the back wearing a black leather tench coat that has the Empire of Blood skull in gold stitching on the right breast. On the back in maroon letters were the words Empire of Blood. On his hands were a pair of black leather striker gloves. He starts down the ramp towards the ring as he grins widely.
CHARLES: And his partner …weighing in at 175 pounds …Sah’ta Thor!
The lights turn out, and Miseria Cantare by AFI begins to play. The lights come back on and “The” Ross Walker stands at the top of the entranceway, his head bowed, his arms forming an “X” shape below his chin. As a spotlight glares on him, his arms stretch sharply out to his side, with fireworks exploding in sync. He then walks methodically down to the ring, stopping just before he enters to stare at it. He then takes off his jacket and rolls into the ring.
CHARLES: And their opponents …first, from Newcastle, England …weighing in at 235 pounds …”The” Ross Walker!
A motorcycle engine roars. Welcome to the Jungle begins to play. Pain rides out on a motorcycle as fireworks go off. Pain pauses at the entrances ramp and waves his lead pipe to the roar of the crowd. He revs his engine and then speeds the motorcycle down the ramp as fireworks go off on either side of him. Pain rides around the ring on his motocycle, waving his pipe as the audience continues to cheer. He stops between the ring and the entrance ramp and does a 540 spin before stepping off his bike and walking up the ring steps.
CHARLES: And his partner …from New York City, New York …weighing in at 210 pounds …he is the FWF World Champion …Pain!
Pain places his lead pipe in corner and walks to the center of the ring where he holds the World Championship with both hands. He climbs one of the turnbuckles and holds the championship up for all to see. He jumps off the turnbuckle and hands the referee the World Championship. Pain takes off his glasses and tosses the to the crowd. He takes off the leather jacket and drops it onto his motorcycle. Pain raises both his arms and waits for the bell to ring.
BETHEA: Whoever wins tonight will have the psychological advantage going into War Zone.
The bell sounds and Ross starts off in the ring with Thor. The two lock up and Ross quickly hits Thor with an arm drag. Thor gets up. They go to lock up again, but Ross kicks Thor in the stomach and quickly hooks his head before nailing a snap suplex.
BETHEA: There’s no ring rust here.
Thor gets up and charges at Ross, but Ross counters with a Powerslam. Christian gets into the ring and runs at Ross, but Ross lifts him up and drops him on top of Thor with a Flapjack. Christian rolls out of the ring and the crowd cheer.
STRACHON: Ross could win this match on his own.
Ross keeps an eye on Christian, making sure he gets back to his corner. He turns around and from out of nowhere, Thor hits Ross with a dropkick to the knee. He then quickly connects with the Shining Wizard.
STRACHON: Jesus.
BETHEA: Ross Walker almost got decapitated by Sah’ta Thor.
Thor goes for the cover. …1 …Ross kicks out. Thor tags in Christian, who immediately enters and begins to kick a grounded Ross in multiple places. He then bounces off the ropes and comes back with a leg drop, going straight into the cover. …1 …Ross kicks out again.
STRACHON: I think his ring rust is showing now.
BETHEA: It certainly is… and he’s too far away from Pain to tag him in.
As Ross gets up, Christian grabs him from behind. He lifts Ross up and drops him with a back suplex. He then tags in Thor who immediately climbs to the top rope. As Ross is getting up, Thor leaps off, driving Ross’ head into the mat with a Guillotine Legdrop.
STRACHON: I would hate to be Ross’ head right about now.
Thor rolls Ross over and covers. …1 …2. Ross kicks out. Thor picks Ross up, but Ross begins to fight back, hitting Thor with a European Uppercut. He then Irish-whips Thor, but when Thor comes back, he hooks Ross’ head and spins him around, executing a Tornado DDT.
STRACHON: Ouch!
BETHEA: Ross Walker is really taking a beating tonight.
As Ross is getting up, Thor grabs his head and hit’s a Swinging Neckbreaker. He goes for the cover. …1 …2 …Ross kicks out. Thor picks him up and sends him into the ropes. He goes for a Roundhouse Kick, but Ross ducks. Ross then bounces back and hits Thor with a clubbing blow to the back of the head, knocking him down.
BETHEA: And Ross has a chance now! Can he get the World Champion in the match?
Thor tags in Christian. He approaches Ross, but Ross quickly dives to his corner, tagging in Pain. Pain comes in and hits Lee with a clothesline. Thor runs at Pain, but he too is met with a clothesline. Christian gets up and Pain connects with a dropkick.
BETHEA: The real deal is in the match and he’s showing them how it’s done!
Pain then hits Thor with a dropkick and he rolls to the outside. Christian gets up. He turns around and Pain goes for THE Superkick, but Christian ducks it. He then hooks Pain for the Glamour Slam. However, Ross turns Christian around and kicks him in the stomach before hooking his arms.
BETHEA: Here we go!
Ross then nails the Depth Charge before leaving the ring to take care of Thor. Pain begins to stamp his foot on the floor and the crowd begin to cheer. Christian slowly gets up. He turns around and Pain goes for THE Superkick and connects. He covers. …1 …2 …3.
CHARLES: The winners of the match …”The” Ross Walker and Pain!
BETHEA: Yes!
STRACHON: What a match!
BETHEA: FWF have prevailed against WBL tonight. Mike Farrell will be happy.
Ross joins Pain in the ring as Thor helps Christian out of it. The referee hands Pain his belt as Christian and Thor watch on angrily.
BETHEA: What a night it has been tonight.
STRACHON: I don’t think we have heard the last of it.
BETHEA: Something tells me you may be right, Sam. Folks, do not miss next week for the last Live-Wire before War Zone. We will see you then.
