The camera opens up in WBL's office. WBL is behind his desk and is flanked as usual by Azmodai and December Green. Across the table is Couch Potato, signing his new contract with FWF. His Jamaican Championship is around his waist and cradled in one arm is Don Lepore's Hall of Fame plaque. Where Don Lepore's name was engraved there is a piece of duct tape with Couchie written on it in green sharpie.
WBL: Couch Potato, welcome back to FWF.
POTATO: The FWF Jamaican Champion is at your service.
Couchie reaches across the table and squeezes one of December's breasts while making a honking sound. December smacks his hand away.
WBL: Don't do that.
POTATO: Right.
WBL: Also...
POTATO: No nudity. Got it.
WBL: No. You do what I tell you when I tell you.
POTATO: Sure thing.
Couchie begins to undo his pants.
WBL: An no nudity!
Couchie stops.
POTATO: Awww.
WBL: Now get out of my office.
POTATO: Sir yes sir!
Couchie does a salute with his left hand followed by a curtsy before moonwalking out of WBL's office while humming the Star Wars theme. He passes Mike Farrell on the way out. As Mike passes him Couchie squeezes CMF's behind.
POTATO: Honk! Honk!
CMF glares at Couchie. Couchie goes back to moonwalking. He throws in a bit of the robot for good measure.
FARRELL: You signed him too?
WBL: Of course I did. And I signed the Devil as soon as he finished demolishing James Bohne last week.
FARRELL: Why?
WBL: Because last time they were here the wWo nearly ran you out of town, and as far as I'm concerned that's good for business.
FARRELL: How much did you sign them for this time?
WBL: Devil was Five Hundred Thousand and Couch Potato was One Million Dollars.
FARRELL: One million dollars!
WBL: Oh yes. You'd be surprised at all the accomplishments Couch Potato's had over the years here. I really think he's worth the money.
FARRELL: That's it. I won't my company back.
WBL: And how do you plan on doing that Farrell? I own fifty percent of this company. And you're not getting that without one hell of a fight.
FARRELL: Exactly. WarZone, I challenge you to the War Games match, your versus my team. The winner gets the loser's shares in FWF.
WBL That's just what I was hoping you'd say. I was just enjoying watching you squirm. Now I'll enjoy humiliating you at WarZone.
FARRELL: We'll see about that.
WBL: Now get the hell out of my office.
The camera cuts to the arena and Ernest Bethea and Sam Strachon.
STRACHON: Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm Sam Strachon here with Ernest "the Beast" Bethea.
BETHEA: We've got a big night for you tonight. The Universal title is on the line in a hardcore match.
STRACHON: And the World Champion will face Christian Lee and Azmodai in a handicap match.
CHARLES: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome FWF Hall of Famer The Predator!
"You Know You're Right" by Nirvana hits as the crowd cheer. The Predator walks out with a cane for assistance and stands on the ramp. He opens his blazer to reveal a Dan "Dragon" Taylor t-shirt which brings the crowd to their feet.
BETHEA: A tribute to his best friend Dan Taylor who passed away the day after Genesis. Details are still not known about what caused it but as we know he was fighting a brain tumour.
STRACHON: Speaking of Genesis, I see Predator's hardcore match with Oswald Brodd has done a number on his surgically repaired knees.
BETHEA: I understand that he's out here to pay tribute to his late best friend.
Predator limps to the ring with the aid of his cane and as he enters the ring, he holds his blazer open to show off the Dan Taylor t-shirt once more.
STRACHON: It shows us just how much Dan means to Pred since he doesn't like being seen in this condition and he's out here tonight to say a few words.
BETHEA: Over the next few weeks, those closest to the Dragon will be paying their respects to their friend. Pain last week, The Predator this week, and many more in the weeks to come.
A DDT chant bursts out and Predator stands with his blazer open taking it in. He takes a microphone and starts speaking.
PREDATOR: I regret to be out here in these circumstances, but as you know... my best friend, former tag team partner, FWF Hall of Famer, Grandslammer, and Lost Hero, Dan "Dragon" Taylor, sadly passed away the day after Genesis. And, well, I've been asked to come out and say a few words...
Predator pauses, taking a deep breath.
PREDATOR: For those that remember, one of my earliest feuds in FWF was with Dan. We fought in classic bouts, like the Hell in a Cell for the UK Title and the Main Event of Genesis III, and inbetween, thanks to a lottery, we were paired together and won the Tag Titles. Each and every time we stepped in the ring, he beat me. He won the UK Title from me, he won the World Heavyweight Championship, and he was even the man responsible for ending UCW. But if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be half the wrestler I became, nay, half the man I am now. Dan drove me to improve myself until I was finally able to beat him for the Heavyweight Title at Nightmare 2006 in what I'd call the best match I'd ever had. Dan always brought the best out of everyone, whether you were with him or against him. He always commanded respect.
BETHEA: True, I always consider my match with Dan to be the greatest of my career.
Predator pauses again, trying to hold back tears, then he puts his hand to his forehead and starts to laugh.
PREDATOR: You know, I just remembered. There was this one time when Dan and I were at a public appearance, and some guy came up to him. You know the kind who like to mock wrestling and are so narrow-minded that they think it's fake. He was all cocky giving Dan all that "wrestling is fake" crap, so Dan, very calmly offered to demonstrate a few things. The guy seemed to be edgy but Dan said to him: "Wrestling's fake, it won't hurt you." The guy became cocky then, and even tilted his head to the right, telling him to take his best shot. So Dan decked him with a really stiff forearm and yelled at him: "Did that feel fake to you?" The guy didn't say anything else and ran away with his tail between his legs. Wrestling was Dan's life, you do not insult wrestling in front of him.
STRACHON: I was there for that, it was so so funny.
Tears begin to fall down Predator's eyes, and he leans on the ropes, hiding his face.
BETHEA: It's got to be a very tough time for the former champion, he's just lost his one of his closest friends.
PREDATOR: Wrestling. That's all he lived for. "Wrestling is his life." That wasn't just a saying about him, it was the truth. He lived, breathed and dreamed wrestling, and it kind of makes me happy that he spent some time in the last twenty-four hours of his life doing what he loved the most: being out here in front of all of you, wrestling, and to think I got to share his last moments standing in this ring with him is overwhelming. He may not be with us physically but the memories he gave us in and out of the ring will live forever, and I guess Dan will live on through his son "Dragonfly" Danny T, an through the generations of warriors to come who will study Dan's matches and in-ring style as there is no one as great as Dan. I may have pinned Dan at Genesis VI to gain the unofficial title of Mr. Genesis but Dan, Dan will forever be Mr. Wrestling. Let's hear it for Dan "Dragon" Taylor, the greatest warrior of all time. Thank you Dan.
A loud "DDT" chant erupts and Predator joins in, looking around at the crowd.
STRACHON: A touching tribute from one of DDT's closest friends.
As the crowd eventually calms, Predator puts the mic to his mouth again.
PREDATOR: Just then, I just mentioned the generations of warriors to come, and tonight, I'm also proud to introduce two of the newest additions to the FWF Warriors, two young lads with mounds of potential, potential that I am helping them to unleash by passing on the knowledge that I've picked up, a lot of which I gained from Dan himself. Ladies and gentlemen, they are descended from UCW and FWF legends, so please welcome the son of "The Human Suplex Machine" Marcus Brody and the grandson of "Captain" Joe Stall, Marcus Thomas Brody and James Stall!
The UCW theme hits the arena.
STRACHON: U-C-Dub! U-C-Dub!
Marcus Thomas Brody and James Stall walk out to a cheering crowd. They slap fans' hands as they make their way to the ring. As they get into the ring, Predator shakes their hands and leaves the ring as they stand on a corner each.
BETHEA: These two are making their debut tonight, I believe Predator has hand-picked opponents for them too.
STRACHON: Yes he has, and as we found out earlier this week, he's picked former FWF and UCW Tag Team Champions so it's not going to be an easy one for the newcomers.
Predator gets a chair from ringside and sits down next to Sam Strachon, whispering something in his ear.
STRACHON: Predator's not going to be joining us on commentary as he wants to watch how his students perform in this match with as much concentration as possible.
Circus music hits but the music abruptly cut off and replaced with "I am the Bullgod" WBL enters.
WBL: Who the hell do you think you are? You don't get to make the matches around here. This is my company. So let me introduce you to your real opponents.
Line in the Sand by Motorhead plays and Couch Potato and the Devil step out onto the entrance ramp.
WBL: I give you FWF's newest hires, the wWo, Devil and Couch Potato.
Devil and Couch Potato enter the ring as WBL walks away laughing. James and Marcus look at each other for a moment and then Marcus steps out of the ring. Couchie does the same leaving Devil and James Stall as the first warriors to square off.
BETHEA: This is a major change.
STRACHON: The wWo are the most dominant stable in FWF history.
BETHEA: Arguably.
Stall and Devil lock up in the ring. Devil lets go. The two men look at each other. Devil smacks Stall and laughs. Stall responds with a spear. James gets up and lets Devil to his feet. The two grapple again and this time Devil pushes Stall toward the ropes. James counters and hits Devil with a suplex. Devil gets to his feet and James goes for a DDT, but Devil counters. He knocks James away and hits him with an uppercut. James sttagers backward and responds with an uppercut of his own. Devil runs at James and goes for a spear, but James counters it with a neckbreaker.
BETHEA: Last week Devil delivered a brutal beatdown to James Bohne, but right now James Stall seems to be holding his own.
STRACHON: Man that's going to be awkward when they eventually have a match together. James hits James with a suplex.
James puts Devil in a headlock, but Devil climbs to his feet and powers out of it. James hits Devil with a dropkick and he falls into the turnbuckle where Couchie tags himself in. Couchie climbs into the ring. James goes to attack Couchie, but Devil hits him with a right. Couchie and Devil then hit James with a double DDT. Devil climbs out of the ring.
STRACHON: There's an example of the dangerous teamwork of the wWo.
Couchie places James in a headlock and James manages to roll out of it. Couchie kicks James in the stomach and places him in a Boston crab. James struggles and manages to grab the ropes, but Devil kicks his hand off and Couchie pulls him away. Couchie tightens his hold and James fights the urge to tap. He's unable to power out of the move, but he does manage to get to the ropes farther away from Devil. ...1 ...2 ...3 ...4. Couchie releases. James uses the rope to get to his feet and Couchie hits him with an elbow to the back of the head. Couchie then places James in a headlock before honking his nose and poking him in the eyes. James reels backward. He stumbles around , but he manages to tag Marcus in.
BETHEA: And James Stall makes the tag to Marcus Thomas Brody.
Marcus climbs into the ring and runs at Couchie hitting him with a clothesline. He makes a run at Devil and goes for a dropkick, but Devil moves out of the way. As Marcus is on the mat, Couchie goes for a legdrop, but Marcus rolls out of the way. Couchie stands, and Marcus hits him with a German Suplex. Couchie again climbs to his feet and this time Marcus is there with a fisherman suplex. He then lifts Couchie up and grabs him from behind hitting him with triple German suplexes.
STRACHON: So many suplexes.
BETHEA: What else would you expect from the son of the Human Suplex Machine Marcus Brody.
Marcus steps away from Couchie. He backs up until he's near Devil. Devil taps him on the shoulder and he turns around. Predictably, Devil punches him in the face. Couchie then rolls Marcus up. ...1 ...2. Marcus kicks out. Couchie gets up and tags Devil in. Devil climbs into the ring as Marcus climbs to his feet. He hits Marcus with a high knee. Marcus tries to make it to James, but Devil hits him with a bulldog. He then places Marcus in a headlock, but Marcus rolls out of it. Devil and hims grapple and Marcus hits him with a suplex. Marcus again goes to tag James in, but Devil catches him and slams Marcus into the mat. Marcus hits the mat with the back of his head first. Devil then quickly knocks James off the apron with a right hand.
STRACHON: Devil is taking charge in this match.
Marcus stands up and Devil hits him with a European Uppercut. He follows up with a reverse suplex. He then picks Marcus up and hits him with a backbreaker. He lifts Marcus up again and nail a neckbreaker. He covers. ...1 ...2. Marcus kicks out. Devil puts Marcus in an armbar. James grabs Marcus' leg and places it on the ring rope. ...1 ...2 ...3 ...4. Devil lets go. Devil picks him up and goes for a DDT, but Marcus counters with a snap suplex. Keeping the hold locked in he hits another suplex.
BETHEA: And Marcus Thomas Brody looks to be turning things around.
STRACHON: Not for long.
Marcus hits Devil with slingshot suplex. Devil gets up and Marcus puts him back down with a spear. He lifts Devil up and goes for a suplex, but Devil counters with one of his own. He lifts Marcus up and brings him over to the turnbuckle where Couchie is. He tags Couchie in and the two hit Marcus with a double DDT.
STRACHON: There's more of that match winning teamwork from the wWo.
Couchie picks up Marcus. He begins to punch Marcus in the stomach before hitting him with a neckbreaker. He goes to pick Marcus up, but Marcus knocks him away. He then grabs couchie and nail him with three suplexes. After the third he drags Couchie toward the turnbuckle with James Stall. James tags himself in. He climbs the turnbuckle. Marcus pushes Couchie away and James hits Couchie with a clothesline from the top rope. Devil runs into the ring, but Marcus intercepts him with a kick to the stomach.
BETHEA: And now Stall and Brody are showing some teamwork.
Brody lifts Devil into a suplex position. He holds him up and hits him with a stalled suplex that sends him over the top and onto the arena floor. Brody then climbs out of the ring as James hits Couchie with a tornado DDT. As Couchie is getting up James hits him with a shining wizard. He covers. ...1 ...2 ...3.
BETHEA: And they've done it. In their first match in FWF the team of James Stall and Marcus Thomas Brody have defeated the wWo.
STRACHON: I can't believe it.
BETHEA: Believe it Sam. We'll be back after this with Sah'ta Thor versus the returning Fizz.
WBL: Couch Potato, welcome back to FWF.
POTATO: The FWF Jamaican Champion is at your service.
