“Sparkle and Shine” by Econoline Crush plays as the camera pans around the crowd. “Dragonfly” Danny T. is stood in the ring with a microphone as the camera now switches to show the commentators sat behind their table.
BETHEA: Welcome to Live-Wire. He’s Sam Strachon.
STRACHON: And he’s Ernest Bethea. We have a World Champion, Beast.
BETHEA: Indeed we do. Pain won the Jealousy tournament last week, beating Evie Jones in the final. Evie will be in action against Kyndal Stone later on in the evening.
STRACHON: And let’s not forget who Pain’s facing in our main event tonight.
BETHEA: Absolutely. Two weeks ago on Live-Wire, Dominator attacked Rodrigo Caleverez for ruining his chances of winning Jealousy. Then last week, he tried to get his revenge in a tables match. When it looked like Rodrigo was gonna win, Maria Valdez got involved.
STRACHON: Rodrigo will be watching Live-Wire tonight from hospital as Dominator shows us whether he has what it took to win Jealousy.
BETHEA: Not only that, but we have a blast from the past. At FWF Genesis VI earlier this year, Sah’ta Thor beat King of Kings for the Iron Man Championship. Tonight, King of Kings will return, picking up from where he left off.
DRAGONFLY: Oswald Brodd! Get out here!
“In Pursuit of Vikings” by Amon Amarth plays as Oswald Brodd enters the arena. He drinks mjod from his horn and walks down the ramp with the crowd booing before climbing into the ring.
BETHEA: These two Warriors met at Jealousy in a special edition of the Dragon’s Dungeon.
STRACHON: I don’t think they had the best first impression of each other, Beast.
DRAGONFLY: After what you did last week, my dad is currently in bed at home because he’s unable to move his neck. Do you have any idea what you’ve gotten yourself into?
BETHEA: We’ve been seeing a new side of Brodd recently.
DRAGONFLY: Well? Do you have an answer?
BRODD: Mjod is the answer, but I don’t remember the question.
STRACHON: I think he’s drunk, Beast.
DRAGONFLY: No... mjod is not the answer.
BRODD: Then you’re not asking the right question.
DRAGONFLY: Y’know something... My dad was right. You’re nothing, but a dirty Santa!
A “Dirty Santa” chant starts in the audience and Brodd appears to be getting mad. He drops his microphone and begins yelling at the crowd as Danny laughs. Suddenly, Brodd charges at Danny, hitting him with the Clothesline from Valhalla, knocking him out.
STRACHON: What the...?
BETHEA: He just knocked out the DDT Kid.
Brodd laughs and gets out of the ring. He then shouts something at ring announcer, Phil Charles. Charles complies, reluctantly.
STRACHON: Danny’s scheduled for a match tonight.
CHARLES: The following match is scheduled for one fall. Currently in the ring ...”Dragonfly” Danny T.
“Over the Hills and Far Away” by Nightwish begins to play. With a look of reluctance on his face, Thunder steps out. He begins to walk down the ramp as Brodd walks up, passing him. Brodd waits on the stage as Thunder gets in the ring.
CHARLES: And his opponent ...Thunder!
BETHEA: Thunder doesn’t look too happy about what’s just happened.
STRACHON: He should. He’s about to pick up an easy win.
Brodd smiles as the bell sounds. Thunder sighs and gets on the mat, pinning Danny. ...1 ...2 ...Danny gets his shoulder up.
STRACHON: WHAT!?
BETHEA: Fluke or not, the Dragonfly refuses to go down without a fight.
Brodd looks shocked, as does Thunder. He picks Danny up and raises him into the powerbomb position. He is about to hit the Tequilla Bomb, but Danny counters with a leg scissors, throwing Thunder head first into the middle turnbuckle. Thunder stumbles out. He goes for a right hand, but Danny misses and Thunder hits the referee.
STRACHON: He hit the ref!
BETHEA: I don’t think it did too much damage, Sam. He’s still moving.
Danny bounces off the ropes. Thunder turns around and Danny jumps into a crucifix position before coming down with the Dungeon DDT. He covers, but the referee hasn’t recovered. He holds his head as he attempts to get up. Brodd begins to walk down the ramp.
BETHEA: Well that was a beautiful move, but no one could make the count.
Thunder begins to get to his feet as Danny staggers about. He turns around and Brodd quickly gets in the ring and goes for the Clothesline from Valhalla, but Danny ducks and Brodd hits Thunder, knocking him out. Danny hits a dropkick, knocking Brodd out of the ring.
STRACHON: That’s not fair, Beast. He hit Thunder!
Slowly, Danny crawls over to Thunder and drops his arm on his chest for the cover. The referee now reaches over and begins to count. ...1 ...2 ...3.
BETHEA: Yes!
CHARLES: The winner of the match ...”Dragonfly” Danny T.!
Brodd gets into the ring to try and grab Danny, but Dragonfly quickly flees the ring and begins to make his way up the ramp. Brodd looks angry. Dan turns and raises his arm as the crowd cheer before heading backstage.
STRACHON: Fluuuuuuuuuuuke...
BETHEA: Whether it’s a fluke or not, the DDT Kid is victorious and once again, he’s got one over on Oswald Brodd.
STRACHON: I think he’ll regret that.
BETHEA: Folks, coming up next is a match I know you’re dieing to see. We have a rematch from Genesis.
STRACHON: King of Kings is back!
BETHEA: And he wants to settle the score with Sah’ta Thor. Don’t go anywhere.

BETHEA: We are back here at Retribution and we have just received word that “Dragonfly” Danny T. And Oswald Brodd will be going one on one when Fantasy Wrestling Federation and Chris Sharp present... FWF Retribution.
STRACHON: Retribution will be coming to you live from Chicago, Illinois on Saturday 17th October 2009.
BETHEA: Stay tuned to Live-Wire, Stampede TV and FWF Online for more information.
STRACHON: Fans, at Genesis, two men stepped into the ring to try and settle the age old dispute... who is better: King of Kings or Sah’ta Thor?
BETHEA: Both have had amazing careers here in FWF and at Genesis, Thor became the last ever Iron Man Champion. The King lost his crown.
STRACHON: And tonight, he’ll take back something worth more... Thor’s head.
BETHEA: Over to Phil Charles for the announcements.
CHARLES: The following match scheduled is for one fall! Introducing first...
The lights go out. Then, a spotlight follows KOK as he makes his way out with “Shackler’s Revenge” by Guns N’ Roses playing. He stops halfway and raises his arm into the air as fireworks explode from the titantron. With the crowd booing, he climbs into the ring and awaits his opponent.
CHARLES: From Derby, England ...weighing in at 255 pounds ...”King of Kings” Joe Page!
BETHEA: The former FWF World Heavyweight Champion is currently without gold.
Blood red strobe lights pulse through the arena as “Parasite” by Disturbed starts to blare from the speakers. As the opening verse reaches its peak Thor steps from the back carrying the Iron Man title. He starts down the ramp towards the ring as he grins widely. On the titantron the Empire of Blood flag waves while Thor slides into the ring and looks up the ramp for a moment. Once in the ring Thor raises his arms and throws off his trench coat.
CHARLES: And his opponent ...weighing in at 175 pounds ...Sah’ta Thor!
BETHEA: And Thor’s not alone tonight. He’s got the Iron Man belt with him.
The bell sounds and the two men lock up. Straight away, King overpowers Thor into the corner. The referee begins to count. ...1 ...2 ...3 ...4. King releases and moves back. They lock up again and King takes Thor into the corner again. ...1 ...2 ...3 ...4. He lets go and the two begin to circle.
BETHEA: King is the bigger man in the match. He’s got eighty pound on Thor.
STRACHON: He’s bigger and he’s better, Beast.
The Warriors lock up again and once more, King overpowers Thor into the corner. ...1 ...2 ...3 ...4. King goes to release, but instead tries to get in a right hand, which Thor ducks. Thor begins to unleash a range of lefts and rights to King before moving out as the crowd cheer.
BETHEA: Looks like King tried to get in a cheap shot there.
King stumbles out and Thor hits him with a Roundhouse Kick, sending him to the mat. He covers. ...1 ...2. King kicks out. Thor waits for him to get up. In doing so, he bounces off the ropes, but when he comes back, King lifts him into the air and slams him to the mat with a Spinebuster.
BETHEA: From nowhere.
STRACHON: What a brilliant move. The Spinebuster of Spinebusters.
King stomps Thor. He then picks him up and hooks his head before lifting him into the air in a vertical suplex position. He stalls for a while, and then falls back and going straight into the cover. ...1 ...2. Thor kicks out.
STRACHON: The Suplex of Suplexes.
As Thor is getting up, King grabs him lifts him into the air before putting him down with an Atomic Drop. He bounces off the ropes and comes back, hitting Thor with a high knee to knock him down. He bounces off the ropes again. This time, he hits Thor with a knee drop, going straight into the cover.
BETHEA: King again with the cover.
...1 ...2. Thor kicks out. Thor begins to get up again and King grabs him, sending him into the corner. Thor stumbles out and King Irish-whips him into the opposite corner. He stumbles out again and King once again sends him into the corner.
STRACHON: The Irish-whip-into-the-corner of Irish-whips-into-the-corner.
BETHEA: King of Kings seems to be toying with his opponent here.
STRACHON: Sah’ta Thor Barbie Doll... coming to a store near you.
BETHEA: Stop it, Sam.
King charges at Thor with a High Knee, but Thor moves and King’s knee hits the turnbuckle. He hops out and Thor connects with a dropkick to the knee. With King now hunched over, Thor bounces off the ropes. When he comes back, he hooks King’s head and spins around before planting it with a Tornado DDT.
BETHEA: And Thor is back in this match!
Thor reaches over and pins King. ...1 ...2. King kicks out. Thor picks King up and tries to lift him up for the Parasite Eve, but King resists, elbowing Thor in the head until he releases. He kicks Thor in the stomach and hooks one of his arms.
STRACHON: Here we go!
He is about to hook the other for the Pedigree, but Thor spins under it and uses it to Irish-whip King into the ropes. He comes back and Thor goes for a Roundhouse Kick, but King ducks. King grabs Thor from behind and nails a back suplex. He then stands and raises his arms as the crowd boo.
STRACHON: Why are they booing, Beast? That was an amazing display of wrestling.
BETHEA: Yeah... and he knows it.
King grabs Thor and drags him over to the corner. He begins to climb, facing the center of the ring where he pulls Thor up with him, hooking him in the Rock Bottom position on the top rope.
BETHEA: Oh, no. This doesn’t look good.
Thor begins to fight back, elbowing King in the side of the head and forcing him to loosen his grip. Thor jumps down to the mat and King lands in a sitting position on the top turnbuckle. From here, Thor manages to pull King over his shoulders, getting him in the Tombstone position. Thor then nails the Parasite Eve. ...1 ...2 ...3.
STRACHON: No!
BETHEA: Yes!
CHARLES: The winner of the match ...Sah’ta Thor!
The crowd cheer as Thor grabs his belt and brings it back into the ring, holding it into the air. Suddenly, Sausage and Bean roll out from under the ring. They snatch the belt from Thor, who stands looking confused as they run up the ramp, both holding the belt at opposite ends.
BETHEA: What the...? Is that...?
STRACHON: IT’S THE BREAKFAST TABLE!
BETHEA: Oh, dear.
STRACHON: UCW’s own Sausage and Bean... former FWF and UCW Tag Team Champions.
“Gold” by Spandau Ballet plays. With a microphone in hand, Chris Sharp enters the arena to a large amount of boos from the crowd as Sausage and Bean walk past him and head backstage.
BETHEA: It looks like the Director of Authority has something to say.
STRACHON: He always does.
SHARP: Now hold on a minute. You may be the last ever Iron Man Champion, but that does not give you the right to parade this belt around like it means something. If you look closely it reads... ‘property of FWF’. Now, as the DOA of FWF, I feel compelled to take this off you as it’s now defunct.
BETHEA: The nerve. Thor won that belt fair and square.
SHARP: However, I’m a fair man. And seeing as you want to play Iron Man, I’m going to give you the opportunity to win a belt. Bring it out here!
Sausage and Bean bring out a silver plated belt with certain parts in purple. The crowd look on as they hold it in front of Sharp for Thor and King to see.
SHARP: It’s really just occurred to me that when FWF ended UCW in 2005, we took away everything from them and what’ve we go to show for it?
STRACHON: Ahem... Me...
SHARP: I was a huge fan of UCW back in the day, so this is my way of honouring them. This... is the FWF Universal Championship!
STRACHON: ‘Bout time. It’s purdy...
SHARP: Now you two both seem credible. Nice CV’s. Good reputation. But to be perfectly honest... I’m bored. I’m bored of seeing you two go it day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year. When’s it going to end?
STRACHON: It is getting a little repetitive.
SHARP: I mean, don’t get me wrong, they’re good, entertaining matches, but seriously, when’s it going to end? I’ll tell you when.
BETHEA: Eh?
SHARP: As long as I am in power, you two will never face each other ever again in one on one action... except... one more time. However, this time is special. You will go one on one at Retribution for the Universal Championship. BETHEA: Huge news! We will decide the first ever Universal Champion.
SHARP: Oh... and you could say I’m being poetic... or I just want the ratings... but it will be in an Iron Man match!
BETHEA: Oh my!
STRACHON: What an announcement!
Sharp smiles. He and the Breakfast Table head backstage leaving Thor and King in the ring. They stare at each other as the scene fades to a commercial break.

BETHEA: And we are back here on Live-Wire. Fans, Retribution is shaping up to be a huge night.
STRACHON: Earlier we found out that "Dragonfly" Danny T. will try to avenge his father as he takes on Oswald Brodd.
BETHEA: And before the break, Chris Sharp announced a huge match for the new FWF Universal Championship. For the last time, King of Kings and Sah'ta Thor will go one on one in an Iron Man match.
STRACHON: I can't wait for that.
BETHEA: And what about the main event? We have just recieved word that Pain will be defending the FWF World Championship the winner of this next match.
STRACHON: And speaking of which.
BETHEA: Evie is in action in just a minute. Over to Phil Charles.
CHARLES: The following match is scheduled for one fall and the winner will become number one contender to the FWF World Championship. Introducing first...
On the titantron the shadowy silhouette of a woman dances. KYNDAL STONE - DIVA ticker tapes across the screen in different directions in different fonts. The screen shatters and shows different pictures of Kyndal in in-action and in magazine spreads. The camera pans to the entrance and shows Kyndal in a B-Boy pose. She struts down to the ring, ignoring the fans outstretched hands and walks up the steps to enter the ring through the bottom rope. Once in the middle of the ring she poses again this time with her hand on her hips.
CHARLES: From the Upper East Side of Manhattan, New York ...weighing in at 128 pounds ...Kyndal Stone!
The music slowly starts up as the purple light start to flicker and the sounds of rain starts as Evie come out with a determined look on her face. She stops at the top of the ramp and looks out at the fans not smiling not with a frown as she walks down slightly waving at the fans. She walks up the step and climbs on to the turnbuckle and punches the air and jumps over the top rope and into the ring before standing in the middle of the ring and point a finger to the top rafts and turns.
CHARLES: And her opponent ...from Nottingham, England ...she is the Nottingham Princess ...Evie Jones!
The bell sounds and the two women lock up. Evie quickly takes Kyndal into a headlock. Kyndal begins to elbow her way out of it. She then pushes Evie off into the ropes. Evie bounces back and Kyndal goes for a clothesline, but Evie ducks and keeps running. Kyndal turns around and Evie dives at her with a Thesz Press, taking her down to the mat where she begins to unleash a range of right hands.
STRACHON: FWF! FWF!
Evie picks Kyndal up and Irish-whips her into the corner. She then runs at her and jumps up, landing on Kyndal's thighs before falling back and throwing Kyndal over with a Monkey Flip. As Kyndal gets up, Evie grabs her by the head, signalling for the Royal Knockout. Kyndal counters, throwing Evie over with a Northern Lights Suplex, straight into the cover.
BETHEA: Beautiful counter.
...1 ...2. Evie kicks out. She waits for Evie to get up. In doing so, Kyndal bounces off the ropes. She comes back and Evie quickly grabs her, nailing a hiptoss. She covers. ...1 ...2. Kyndal kicks out. Evie picks her up and sends her into the corner. Kyndal stumbles out and Evie lifts her for a sidewalk slam, but Stone counters, taking Evie over with a tilt-a-shirl headscissors.
BETHEA: Kyndal Stone was eliminated in the first round of the Jealousy tournament, Sam, but she seems to be doing a great job against the finalist.
STRACHON: Whoever loses, we win, Beast.
BETHEA: The winner of this match will be facing Pain at Retribution.
STRACHON: Lucky, lucky man.
Kyndal waits for Evie to get up. In doing so, she bounces off the ropes and comes back with a high crossbody, landing straight into the cover. ...1 ...2. Evie kicks out. Kyndal goes to pick her up, but Evie slides under her legs. Kyndal turns around and Evie hits her with a dropkick. As Kyndal is getting up, Evie grabs her head and places it between her legs. She then executes a high speed Powerbomb. She covers. ...1 ...2 ...Kyndal kicks out.
BETHEA: She kicked out. Kyndal Stone is still in this thing.
Evie begins to pick Kyndal up, Stone fights back, hitting Evie with shots to the mid-section. She then bounces off the ropes and comes back with a clothesline. Evie gets up, but is knocked back down with another clothesline. She gets up again and as Kyndal is about to hit a third clothesline, Evie quickly gets out of the ring to catch her breath. The referee begins to count. ...1 ...2 ...3 ...4.
STRACHON: What's she doing, Beast.
BETHEA: I think she's having a breather, Sam. Kyndal is tougher than she though.
...5 ...6 ...7 ...8. Kyndal gets out, joining Jones at ringside. The referee restarts the count as the two women approach each other. ...1 ...2 ...3. Evie picks Kyndal up and drops her with a Backbreaker. She tries to get back into the ring, but Kyndal grabs hold of her foot, preventing her from moving. Evie then picks Kyndal up. ...4 ...5 ...6. She Irish-whips Kyndal into the ring post, but Kyndal stops herself.
STRACHON: That was close.
BETHEA: They can't win the match out here. They need to get back into the ring.
Evie goes for a clothesline, but Kyndal ducks, but Evie manages to stop herself hitting the ring post. ...7 ...8 ...9. Evie turns around and slaps Kyndal across the face. Stone gets angry and takes Evie down to the floor. They brawl on the outside as the referee hits 10. The bell sounds.
BETHEA: There's the bell!
CHARLES: The referee has decided that because both Warriors were counted out... this match is a draw!
STRACHON: A draw? What does that mean, Beast?
BETHEA: I don't know, Sam.
STRACHON: Who faces Pain?
BETHEA: I still don't know, but I know who faces him after the break. We'll try to get an update on this. Pain versus Dominator... when we return!

CHARLES: The following match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first...
The lights fade out to a dim gray as “Prelude 12/21” echoes through the arena. Dominator slowly makes his way out to the ring, with Maria Valdez close behind, as the lyrics kick in. A light mist begins to fall out over the arena as he climbs into the ring. He stands there bathing in the mist before the lights flash back on to show him standing there staring out at the crowd with a sick grin on his face.
CHARLES: Being accompanied by Maria Valdez ...from Rosemead, California ...weighing in at 240 pounds ...Dominator!
BETHEA: Well folks, we're back here on Live-Wire and we have been told that a decision regarding the World Championship will be made in the coming days on FWF Online.
STRACHON But for now... it is now time... for our MAAAAAAAAIN EVENT!
A motorbike engine sound is heard coming from backstage as “Welcome to the Jungle” by Guns N’ Roses begins to play. After a moment, Pain rides out on his motorcycle and pauses on stage to take a look at the crowd. He then pulls out a led pipe and shoots it into the air, causing a huge ovation. He rides down the ramp and circles the ring before getting off the bike and sliding under the bottom rope.
CHARLES: And his opponent ...from New York City, New York ...weighing in at 210 pounds ...he is the FWF World Champion ...Pain!
BETHEA The crowd are going wild.
Pain and Dominator lock up in the middle of the ring. Pain quickly gains the advantage and pushes Dominator into the nearest turnbuckle. He backs off and charges at Dominator, but Dom gets a leg up and kicks Pain away. Dominator jumps on top of the turnbuckle and then jumps off. He hits Pain with a hurricanerana. He follows up by putting Pain in an anklelock. Pain struggles momentarily and manages to kick Dom away. Dominator comes forward again, but Pain flips to his feet and hits him with a roundhouse kick.
BETHEA: We’re in the middle of a fast paced match.
STRACHON: It’s been back and forth so far Beast.
Dom reels backward and Pain catches him with a reverse DDT. He then lifts Dominator to his feet and goes for a suplex. Dominator punches him in the ribs and forces him to release his hold. Pain steps back and Dominator hits him with a spear. Dom then begins to punch Pain in the head repeatedly.
STRACHON: These two are really going at it.
BETHEA: Dominator has something to prove Sam. He wants to prove that he deserves a shot at Pain’s title.
STRACHON: And with Evie and Kyndal both counted out earlier, this could be his chance.
Pain catches one of Dom’s fists and forces him off. The two men switch positions and Pain begins hurling lefts and rights at Dominator’s head. Dom forces Pain off of him and locks Pain in a headlock. Pain hits Dominator with a couple of elbow shots. Dom releases the hold and Pain catches him with a crossface. Dom struggles. Pain tightens his hold, but Dominator manages to make it to the ropes. ...1 ...2 ...3 ...4. Pain breaks his hold and lets Dominator get to his feet.
BETHEA: The back and forth action in this match continues.
STRACHON: Pain should press his advantage here. Why is he letting Dominator get up?
BETHEA: Perhaps he needs a breather. Dominator is giving him quite a workout. And I heard he’s recently getting over a cold.
STRACHON: Right… “cold”.
Pain goes after Dominator but receives a quick kick to the face. Pain stumbles backward and Dominator hits him with a bulldog. He lifts Pain up and puts him back down with a DDT. This time he lets Pain start to get up before hitting him with a Shining Wizard.
STRACHON: Oh no he didn’t.
BETHEA: He just used one of Pain’s signature moves against him.
Dom picks Pain up and hits him with a suplex. He picks him up and hits him with a second suplex. He picks Pain up once again and goes for a third suplex. This time Pain pushes him away before nailing Dominator with a European Uppercut. He follows with a Spinebuster. He wastes no time and lifts Dominator up only to send him back to the map with a spinning neckbreaker.
BETHEA: That’s some classic Pain.
STRACHON: And this time he’s not giving Dominator any time to rest.
Pain presses his advantage and kicks Dominator in the ribs a few times. As Dominator struggles to his feet, Pain lays him out with a dropkick. He follows up with a legdrop. He takes a breath and then hits him with a running elbow drop. After that He covers. 1…2… Dominator kicks out.
STRACHON: Why would he cover then? It’s just an elbow drop?
BETHEA: He must have thought he had this in the bag. Underestimating Dominator is not a smart move.
Dominator pushes Pain off of him and kicks him in the rips. Dominator goes to kick Pain in the head, but Pain pushes his foot away, putting Dominator off balance. Pain sweeps Dominator’s legs out from under him, sending Dom to the mat. He grabs Dominator’s legs and puts him in a Boston Crab. Dominator easily kicks him away. He runs and hits Pain with a spear.
BETHEA: Dominator’s legs are the strongest part of his body.
STRACHON: Pain’s going to need a new strategy. I suggest smashing Dominator in the head until he passes out.
Dominator goes for a headlock, but Pain knocks him away. Dominator charges at Pain again, but Pain hits him with a Drop-Toe-Hold. This leads into an armbar, but Dominator is right by the ropes and easily makes it to them. ...1 ...2 ...3 ...4. Pain breaks his hold. Dominator kicks Pain in the head. Pain staggers to his feet, but in his clouded state he fails to realize that Dominator has climbed the turnbuckle. Dom hit Pain with a missle dropkick and covers ...1 ...2. Pain kicks out.
BETHEA: Excellent move by Dominator.
STRACHON: But it’s going to take more than that to bring down the champ.
Dominator picks Pain up and goes for a DDT, but Pain counters with a knee to Dominator’s ribs followed by a spinebuster. While Dominator is on the mat, Pain goes for a legdrop. Dom rolls out of the way. He goes to kick Pain in the face, but Pain lays out flat on the mat and Dom misses. Pain then flips ot his feet and goes for a roundhouse kick. Dom ducks it and catches Pain’s leg. Pain is quick to bring his other leg around to kick Dom in the face. Dominator stumbles backward, and Pain hits Dominator with a spear into the turnbuckle.
BETHEA: Both warriors showed great skill just now.
STRACHON: But Pain’s in control now.
Pain drives his knee into Dominator’s ribs. Dom tries to fight back with a right to Pain’s face, but Pain hits him with a headbutt before he begins to climb the turnbuckle. He tries to pull Dominator up, but once again Dom starts throwing lefts and rights. Pain falls off the turnbuckle. Dominator climbs the turnbuckle and gets ready to hit a shooting star press, but he isn’t prepared for Pain’s speed. Pain is up faster then anticipated and he pulls out one of Dominator’s legs causing him to fall onto the top of the turnbuckle. Pain quickly climbs and hooks Dominator in the suplex position.
STRACHON: This could be it.
Pain goes to hit Dominator with a Skyhigh Superplex, but Dominator isn’t ready to go. He tries to knock Pain off the turnbuckle, but Pain stands his ground. He hits Dom with another headbutt. He lifts the dazed Dominator and hits him with Bringin’ the Pain. He covers. ...1 ...2 ...3.
BETHEA: He’s done it. The Champ extends his winning streak.
CHARLES: The winner of the match ...Pain!
Pain waits for Dominator to get up. He extends his hand for a handshake. Dom looks at it. Suddenly Rodrigo Calverez runs out of the crowd and into the ring. He attacks Dominator from behind with a bulldog. Pain goes to help him. Rodrigo and Pain exchange blows.
STRACHON: The Enigma is in the ring. All hell is breaking loose.
Pain fails to notice Evie Jones as she runs down the ramp. Evie slips into the ring and grabs Pain’s lead pipe. She smacks him in the back with it as Kyndal Stonr comes running down the entrance ramp.
BETHEA: This is getting out of hand.
STRACHON: Tell me about it. Pain just got hit with his own lead pipe… by a woman!
Kyndal grabs Evie by the hair and slams her down to the mat. Rodrigo goes to hit Kyndal, but Dominator kicks him in the face. Pain climbs to his feet and grabs his pipe. Evie and Kyndal are locked in a grapple as “Gold” plays on the PA system. Chris Sharp appears on the entrance ramp. He is accompanied by Sausage and Bean.
STRACHON: Here he is Beast. The DOA is here to restore order.
SHARP: Can’t you people control yourselves? Do I have to handle everything around here? And you two better cut it out before I have to send these two in there to separate you.
Kyndal and Evie let go of each other. All five warriors turn to look at Chris Sharp.
SHARP: Here’s what I’m going to do. As you know the winner of Kyndal vs Evie was supposed to get a title match against Pain at Retribution. Both of you were counted out and the match ended in a draw. Therefore… the match at Retribution will be a Triple threat match between Pain, Evie Jones and Kyndal Stone.
STRACHON: What a blockbuster match!
Evie and Kyndal look at each other with anger in their eyes. Pain looks at them both. He smiles and nods.
STRACHON: That Pain is one lucky bastard.
SHARP: As for you two. Rodrigo and Dominator... I am sick and tired of watching you two make a mess of my show. It happened two weeks ago on Live-Wire, it happened at Jealousy and it's happened tonight. So at Retribution, you will be facing off against each other. But there's going to be no cheating and no outside interference... because you will be trapped inside a fifteen foot high steel cage!
STRACHON: MY GOD!
BETHEA: What an announcement! Retribution is shaping up to be one hell of a night.
Sharp exits the arena with Sausage and Bean following. Dominator and Radrigo begin to brawl, as do Kyndal and Evie. Pain grabs his title and sits on the top turnbuckle, smiling.
BETHEA: The World Champion appears to be enjoying himself.
STRACHON: As am I.
BETHEA: Well, folks, I'm gonna get out of here before I'm dragged into it. Thank you for watching and goodnight.
