BETHEA: Welcome to Live-Wire. We are live from Montreal, Canada. I’m Ernest “The Beast” Bethea.
BRIGGS: And I’m Tom Briggs. We are hot off of Nightmare and we were promised that the Nightmare has only just begun for Team USA.
BETHEA: That’s right. “Dark” Mark Lloyd returned joining the DDT Kid’s team of Brits, ready for Collision: USA vs UK.
BRIGGS: And that’s the theme of tonight.
BETHEA: Absolutely. The Phantom of the Arena will be facing Team USA member, James Bohne; both former World champions here in FWF.
BRIGGS: And UCW’s own, Marcus Brody will go one on one with a washed up has-been.
BETHEA: Marcus Brody versus “Captain” Joe Stall.
BRIGGS: And not only that.
BETHEA: Speaking of captains, the two team captains for this year’s Collision will face each other in our main event. It’s Dan “Dragon” Taylor versus Pain.
JENKINS: The following match scheduled is for one fall! Introducing first...
"Raise Your Hands" by Bon Jovi begins to play. After a moment, Marcus Brody enters the arena. With the crowd cheering, he walks down the ramp and gets into the ring.
JENKINS: ...from the Eyrie, England ...he is the Human Suplex Machine ...Marcus Brody!
As Marcus stands in the ring waiting for his opponent, Kyle Evers and Cameron Hayden enter the arena through the crowd. They climb over the safety rail and get into the ring.
BETHEA: What the...?
BRIGGS: It’s Hayden and Evers.
BETHEA: The FWF Tag Team Champions are making themselves known.
Brody turns around and the team hit him over the head with their belts. As Brody is getting up, Evers ascends the turnbuckle and Hayden grabs him in a Cobra Clutch position. He then nails the Birth Control. Evers then leaps off with the Permanent Midnight.
BETHEA: My God!
BRIGGS: Of course, Evers will be on Team USA next week.
Evers and Hayden get out of the ring. They grab their belts and run up the ramp, heading backstage as Brody lies in the ring. Then, “Real American” by Rick Derringer plays.
BRIGGS: No. Not this.
BETHEA: Brody still has a match to wrestle... and his opponent: the seven foot tall former World Heavyweight Champion.
With a solemn look on his face, Joe Stall enters the arena. He remains serious as he walks down the ramp. He climbs onto the apron and steps into the ring, over the top rope.
JENKINS: And his opponent ...from Washington, DC ...”Captain” Joe Stall!
Joe gets into the ring and Brody slowly drags himself up to his feet. Joe grabs Brody by the neck as the bell sounds. He then nails a Chokeslam. He covers. ...1 ...2 ...3.
JENKINS: The winner of the match ...”Captain” Joe Stall!
BETHEA: I can’t believe it.
BRIGGS: Can you see that look on Joe’s face.
BETHEA: I think he’s still in shock after what happened at Nightmare.
Joe is about to get out of the ring, but stops. He then picks Brody up and sends him into the ropes. Marcus bounces back and Joe nails the Sergeant Spine Buster. He then gets out of the ring and heads backstage.
BETHEA: Can we get some help out here?
EMT’s rush down the ramp. They assist Marcus Brody to the back.
BETHEA: Well, folks... coming up next...
Blood red strobe lights pulse through the arena as Parasite by Disturbed starts to blare from the speakers. The music and the pulsing lights cause the crowd to look up in interest. As the opening verse reaches it's peak Thor steps from the back wearing a black leather tench coat that has the Empire of Blood skull in gold stitching on the right breast. On the back in maroon letters were the words Empire of Blood. On his hands were a pair of black leather striker gloves. He starts down the ramp towards the ring as he grins widely. On the titantron the Empire of Blood flag waves while Thor slides into the ring and looks up the ramp for a moment.
JENKINS: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome ...”The Immortal” Sah’ta Thor!
BETHEA: Well, here we have the man that faced The Predator at Nightmare.
BRIGGS: And lost.
BETHEA: A valiant effort both here and at Hotter than Hell gained him a standing ovation.
THOR: Well... I stand here tonight as a new man. Yes... I failed to become World Heavyweight Champion.
BRIGGS: Yes, you did.
BETHEA: He came closer than you ever will, TB.
Sah’ta Thor: Am I sore about my loss at Nightmare? No. Am I sore about my loss in the Devil’s Advocate Match at Hotter than Hell? No!
BRIGGS: You should be.
BETHEA: Give it a rest.
THOR: I want you all to know that I have the biggest amount of respect for The Predator; bigger than anybody else. I was beaten by the best.
BETHEA: There’s no shame in being beaten by the Predator: the longest reigning World Heavyweight Champion in FWF History.
BRIGGS: Is that what you told yourself after he destroyed you?
BETHEA: Yes...
THOR: However... I am still sore about my loss to him at Jealousy. I should be the Lost Heroes trophy holder. It was...
Suddenly, “Black Sheep” by Saliva plays.
BETHEA: Well, it looks as though someone disagrees with that.
With a microphone in hand and his belt over his shoulder, King of Kings walks out into the arena. He walks down the ramp and gets into the ring, staring at Thor.
KING: Is that so?
THOR: Absolutely. If it wasn’t for the barbed-wire, I would’ve made it to the final to...
KING: ...to face me! How many times have I beaten you in the past?
THOR: About the amount of times I’ve beaten you.
KING: I think you’re forgetting what happened in the final of Jealousy. Jordan Sharpe screwed me out of the match. So... it should be me standing here as the Lost Heroes trophy holder.
THOR: Is that so?
KING: Absolutely!
“Gold” by Spandau Ballet plays.
BRIGGS: It’s a party.
With a microphone in hand, the owner of FWF, Chris Sharp, enters the arena and stands on stage.
SHARP: I’m tired of all these games. Since I got here, it’s always been a battle between you two. Hell, before I got here, it was the same. But I’ve had enough.
BRIGGS: You’re not the only one.
SHARP: And the two of you are perfect victims of circumstance. Thor... you are an American. King... you are a Brit.
BETHEA: I think we all know where this is going.
SHARP: So at Collision: USA vs UK, for the Iron Man Championship ...it will be King of Kings versus Sah’ta Thor!
BETHEA: What an announcement.
BRIGGS: And what a night Collision is shaping up to be.
BETHEA: We’re gonna have to take a short break, but don’t go anywhere. Great action will take place... when we return!
BRIGGS: And I’m Tom Briggs. We are hot off of Nightmare and we were promised that the Nightmare has only just begun for Team USA.
