STRACHON: Welcome one and all to Live-Wire. Beauty and the Beast here at ringside.
BETHEA: Don’t flatter yourself, Sam. You’re in for a great night tonight as we take you in the New Direction.
STRACHON: Remember last week, Beast?
BETHEA: How can I forget? The World Heavyweight Champion, Pain took out King of Kings and the Predator before Dan “Dragon” Taylor came to the save.
STRACHON: Which led to King of Kings versus Pain at FWF Bloodthirst 2007... in a first blood match.
BETHEA: The Predator is unable to compete tonight, but his Lost Heroes team mate will be in action, taking on Pain.
STRACHON: Remember what else happened last week?
BETHEA: Dan Taylor cost Sah'ta Thor his match against King of Kings after announcing himself as the special guest referee. He then hit Thor with the Dragon Slam, allowing King to make the cover. Dan made his intentions clear when he announced that the Lost Heroes will go after the US Tag Team titles at Bloodthirst against current, champions, Empire of Blood.
STRACHON: “DOA” Mark Briggs has ordered that Dan comes to the ring to apologise for his actions.
Suddenly, the lights go off. Then, a dark, red light surrounds the arena as “All My Life” by Foo Fighters blares over the P.A system. After a moment, Dan Taylor enters the arena to a huge ovation, attired in his black, leather jacket and red, tinted glasses. He begins to walk down the ramp, but comes to a halt halfway. He drops to his knees as a range of fireworks explode from the titantron. They finish and Dan stands. He strolls up the black, metal ring steps and ascends the turnbuckle from the outside. He raises his arms as a “DDT” chant begins. He then drops down to the canvas and grabs a microphone.
JENKINS: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome ...from Manchester, England ...weighing in at 245 pounds ...Dan “Dragon” Taylor.
DRAGON: If you’re gonna do it... then do it right. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to... the Dragon’s... Dungeon!
BETHEA: As always, he has the crowd eating out of his hand.
DRAGON: I am your host ...the one ...the only ...the DDT ...K ...I ...D... Dan “Dragon” Taylor!
STRACHON: We know. Grow up. Move on.
DRAGON: Now, tonight I’ve been ordered by everybody’s favourite Director of Authority to make an apology. I’m supposed to say that I’m sorry to Thor for what happened last week. We’ll get onto that in just a little while.
STRACHON: Eh?
DRAGON: First of all, I want to address my match tonight. Tonight, I go one on one with Pain.
STRACHON: The World Heavyweight Champion.
DRAGON: Pain, last week you were completely out of order. With your led pipe, you took out King of Kings and you took out the Predator. Now... the Predator is my tag team partner. And as my tag team partner, he’s unable to wrestle tonight after what you did to him. He’s still feeling a little dizzy, and so he’s not going to be able to get his revenge on you tonight.
BETHEA: I’m sure Predator wants nothing more than to teach Pain a lesson.
STRACHON: That’s what the Lost Heroes are about, Beast.
DRAGON: Now, luckily for Predator, he has a tag team partner... so if he can’t get revenge... I can! Tonight, in the main event on Live-Wire, I’m going to make you do something that Predator did last week. I’m going to make you tap out!
STRACHON: Talk is cheap. Pain’s the World champion for nothing.
BETHEA: I dunno, Sam. The DDT kid has been undefeated since his return.
DRAGON: And now, I’d like to introduce my guest for this evening. Ladies and gentlemen... please welcome one of the men that I’m going to beat at Bloodthirst ...“The Immortal” Sah’ta Thor!
“Blood” by Type O Negative plays. Thor enters the arena with both tag belts over his shoulders. Briggs heads backstage as Thor walks down the ramp to a booing audience. He then gets into the ring and is handed a microphone.
BETHEA: Looks like he’s got something to say.
DRAGON: Welcome to the Du...
THOR: Dragon... last week, I had King of Kings beat. If I would’ve beaten him, then I would be the new number one contender. But you cheated me out of that match. Now... you know what to do.
Dan stands with a slight smirk on his face, looking at Thor who glares at Dan with clenched fists. A “DDT” chant starts. Dan signals with his hands to quiet them down. He then raises the microphone up to his mouth.
DRAGON: You want me to say that I’m sorry? Okay... I will do. I’m sorry that... you interrupted me just now. I’m sorry that... you failed to beat King of Kings. I’m sorry that... you got what was coming to you. But more importantly... I’m sorry for this...
Dan lifts Thorn up into the fireman’s carry. With the crowd cheering, Dan nails the Dragon Slam.
BETHEA: Dragon Slam!
STRACHON: Not again!
BETHEA: That will send a message straight to Thor and the Empire of Blood. They don’t call him the Master of Psychology for nothing.
STRACHON: He’ll regret that, Bethea. He really will.
BETHEA: This could be the case at Bloodthirst.
STRACHON: Well, we’re gonna have to take a short break. We’ll get on with some matches... when we return.

STRACHON: Welcome back to Live-Wire. This is the last stop before FWF Bloodthirst 2007.
BETHEA: We got a preview of one of the matches before the break. Dan “Dragon” Taylor will team with his Lost Heroes partner, The Predator as they take on Empire of Blood’s Sah’ta Thor and Jason Fall for the US Tag titles.
STRACHON: DOA Mark Briggs sanctioned a match between Eric Stuart and Benny Star. The winner... which we all know will be Star... will go on to face Matt Knox in two weeks for the Iron Man championship.
BETHEA: David Calaz will return to FWF to try and reclaim his Cruiserweight gold as he faces current champion, James Jefferson.
STRACHON: At Collision, Jonny Vegas won a number one contender’s match for a chance to gain the Hardcore title. In a hardcore match, he will challenge Richard Marciano.
BETHEA: And then in our main event, we have what promises to be a match of the year candidate. The World Heavyweight Championship will be on the line.
STRACHON: Pain will defend that belt in a first blood match.
BETHEA: His opponent ...the King of Kings. And I have to tell you... their rivalry has been heating up since before Collision. I can’t wait for them to finally meet in the ring.
STRACHON: Coming up next, we have my new favourite wrestler in action.
BETHEA: I think you’re on your own there, Sam. Not many people are Benny Star fans.
STRACHON: What’re you talking about? He’s great. He’s amazing. He’s... super.
BETHEA: And of course, there is a great article regarding Benny Star in the first edition of the new FWF Magazine.
STRACHON: And let us remind you that you can download FWF Magazine from fantasywrestling.2ya.com.
The opening to Amon Amarth's "Cry of the Black Birds" rings out, and the houselights shut off completely. A slight mist begins to pour down from the rafters as the fans scream in anticipation. The lights turn back on, in a dim blue. A fog rises around the entrance ramp and Matthew Knox steps out onto the entrance ramp. He runs from side, to the other, screaming out to the fans. He then makes his way leisurely down the ramp, slapping some hands, when he gets in the ring, he jumps onto the second rope, and raises one hand in the air to the fans, the mist stops, and the lights come up as he gets off the ropes. He then takes off his trench coat, tosses it to the outside and leans against a turnbuckle.
JENKINS: The following match scheduled is for one fall. Introducing first ...from Monterey, California ...weighing in at 237 pounds ...the FWF Iron Man Champion ...Matthew “The Raven” Knox!
A hot pink light surrounds the arena as "Livin' On A Prayer" by Bon Jovi blares over the P.A. system. After a moment, Benny Star jogs out on stage, wearing a pair of pink trunks. He begins to walk down the ramp, talking about himself, ignoring the fans. He jumps up onto the apron. Grabbing onto the top rope, he springboards and lands on the canvas on one knee where he raises his arms. With the crowd booing, the music fades and the lights restore to normal.
JENKINS: And his opponent, from Hollywood, the capital of the world ...weighing in at 237 pounds ...“Super” Benny Star!
The bell sounds and straight away, Star goes for a right hand, but Knox ducks. Star turns around and Knox hits him with a dropkick. The two get up and Knox grabs Star from behind in a waistlock position. He then nails a German Suplex. Star gets up using the ropes and Knox runs at him, clotheslining him out of the ring.
BETHEA: Matt Knox is looking strong as Benny Star has been sent to the outside.
STRACHON: Come on, Star. Knox is a loser. You’re a winner!
Star gets back into the ring. The two men go to lock up, but Star kicks Knox in the stomach. He hooks his head and quickly takes him over with a vertical suplex before rolling into the cover. ...1 ...Knox kicks out and Benny quickly grabs him in a facelock.
BETHEA: I’ll give Star credit. He’s got some talent.
STRACHON: Some talent? Did you see how Knox kicks out, but Star gets right back on him?
Star picks Knox up. He then lifts him up before dropping him with a bodyslam. He bounces off the ropes and comes back with a leg drop, straight into the cover. ...1 ...2. Knox kicks out. Knox tries to get up using the ropes. Taking advantage of this, Star pushes Knox’s neck down on the middle rope with his knee.
BETHEA: Come on. He’s choking him.
The referee begins to count. ...1 ...2 ...3 ...4. Star lets go. He picks Knox up and Irish-whips him into the corner. He then charges at him with the Stinger Splash, but Knox moves out of the way. Star stumbles out of the corner and Knox grabs him in a reverse waistlock position before executing the Belly-to-Belly Suplex.
BETHEA: Beautiful move right there. This could be the opening he’s been looking for.
Benny gets to his feet as Knox bounces off the ropes. Knox comes back with a spinning heel kick. Star gets up again, but gets knocked back down with a Karate Punch. Star gets up once more and Knox grabs him from behind in the Tazmission position.
BETHEA: Straight to Hell coming up.
Knox is about to hit the Straight to Hell, but Star rams Knox back into the turnbuckle. Knox stumbles out and Star nails a hiptoss. As Knox is getting up, Star grabs him from behind and takes him down to the mat with a Russian Legsweep. He gets up and raises his arms as the crowd boo.
BETHEA: Our great FWF fans showing no appreciation to Mr. Hollywood.
STRACHON: It’s because they’re jealous of Benny. He’s the only superstar in FWF, Bethea.
Star walks over to the corner. He begins to unfasten the top turnbuckle pad. The referee shouts at him as he drops the pad. As Star waits for Knox to get up, the referee begins to retie the pad back onto the turnbuckle. With the distraction, Benny nails the Super Strike. The referee turns around to make the count. ...1 ...2 ...3.
JENKINS: The winner of the match ...“Super” Benny Star!
STRACHON: Yes! He did it!
BETHEA: And he cheated to do it too, Sam.
STRACHON: How?
BETHEA: When the referee wasn’t looking, he hit the Super Strike... that closed fist. That’s an illegal move.
STRACHON: Regardless, we’re gonna have to take a short break.

STRACHON: Welcome back. Coming up next, we have a match between two... well... nobodies.
BETHEA: Well, the two newest editions to the roster will face off tonight.
STRACHON: One of them is already in the ring.
BETHEA: Over to Simon Jenkins for the announcements.
JENKINS: The following match scheduled is for one fall. Introducing first...
The H-Core Homo stands in the ring, posing in the corner. The ring announcer, Simon Jenkins, turns and looks at him. His jaw drops as Homo blows kisses to the crowd.
JENKINS: What the hell are you?
STRACHON: Haha! Hear that, Ernest... not “who”, but “what?”
JENKINS: Ladies and gentlemen ...the H-Core Homo!
As the music plays and the chicas jump to their feet and scream, The Icon appears on the stage, as sparks shoot from the stage and rain majestically over El Rey De Mexico. Jason Tombs steps forth in his sunglasses, and Mexican style bandanna and hooded sleeveless cloak, as the women sway and the men swear. Donning his pure white boots and skin tight shorts, he makes his decent to the ring. He slides into the ring and jumps to his feet for one last scream from the mamacitas.
JENKINS: And his opponent ...from Los Angeles, California ...weighing in at 350 pounds ..."The Icon" Jason Tombs!
STRACHON: Oh my God. Look at the size of that guy.
BETHEA: He must be seven feet tall, Sam.
The bell sounds and straight away Tombs hits Homo with a big boot. Homo gets up and Tombs hooks his head. He then nails the Dethroner. He covers. ...1 ...2 ...3.
JENKINS: The winner of the match ...Jason Tombs!
STRACHON: Oh my God!
BETHEA: Welcome to FWF.
STRACHON: This guy is a monster.
As the referee assists Homo to the back, Tombs gets out of the ring and walks backstage.
BETHEA: Fans, coming up next, we have a very special appearance by an FWF legend.
STRACHON: Chris Knite will return to the ring for one night only to take out the King of Kings.
BETHEA: I wouldn’t be so sure about that, Sam. King has been on quite a roll lately.
STRACHON: I don’t care. Nobody can beat Chris Knite.
“Bring Me To Life” by Evanescence plays as a gold light surrounds the arena. Wearing a pair of silver and gold tight pants, Chris Knite enters the arena. He walks down the ramp with a cocky grin on his face. The crowd boo as he gets into the ring.
JENKINS: The following match scheduled is for one fall. Introducing first ...from Tampa, Florida ...he is the Saviour ...Chris Knite!
“King of Kings” by Motorhead begins to play. After a moment, King enters the arena to a cheering crowd. With lights flashing, he walks down the ramp before sliding under the bottom rope. He ascends one of the turnbuckles and raises his arms as the crowd cheer.
JENKINS: And his opponent ...from Derby, England ...King of Kings!
The bell sounds as Knite stares a hole through KOK, who retaliates with a smile. Knite slaps Kings across the face. King laughs. Knite goes to slap him again, but King blocks it, before hitting him with a right hand, knocking Knite to the canvas.
BETHEA: King isn’t taking anything from Knite. Are you sure Knite’s going to win, Sam?
STRACHON: Chris Knite is a former UK champion, Hardcore champion and Tag Team champion. What the hell has King of Kings done?
BETHEA: Former Iron Man champion and was one half of the longest reigning US Tag Team champions. But the one thing that neither man has done is win the World Heavyweight Championship, which King will have a chance to do this Saturday.
Knite gets up and charges at King, but King lifts him up and slams him to the mat with a spinebuster. He then bounces off the ropes and comes back with a knee drop. Knite slowly gets up and King grabs him, hooking both of his arms.
BETHEA: Pedigree coming up.
Knite counters, spinning under King’s arm. From behind, he grabs King in a full nelson before spinning him round. Chris then nails the Knite Driver. He smiles as he covers KOK. ...1 ...2 ...KOK kicks out.
STRACHON: What!?
BETHEA: He kicked out of the Unprettier, Sam... few people have done that.
Knite picks King up. He then raises him up into the Knite Driver position, but KOK counters, throwing Chris over with a big back body drop. Knite gets up and runs at King, but is cut off by a high knee. He gets up again and King kicks him in the stomach. He then hooks both Knite’s arms before nailing the Pedigree. ...1 ...2 ...3.
JENKINS: The winner of the match ...King of Kings!
STRACHON: Damn it!
BETHEA: Knite... welcome back to FWF. I think it was one of the shortest returns in history.
King picks Knite up. He then throws him over the top rope and to the outside. He ascends the turnbuckle and raises his arms to a cheering crowd as the scene fades to the commercial break.

STRACHON: We are back for the concluding part of Live-Wire.
BETHEA: It’s now time for our ...for our ...for our...
STRACHON: MAAAAAAAAAAAAIN EVENT!
BETHEA: And what a main event it’s going to be.
JENKINS: The following match scheduled is for one fall. Introducing first...
The lights shut off. Then, a dark, red light surrounds the arena as “All My Life” by Foo Fighters blares over the PA system. After a moment, Dan Taylor enters the arena to a huge ovation. He begins to walk down the ramp, stopping halfway. He drops to his knees as a range of fireworks explode from the titantron. As the smoke is clearing, The Predator walks out as Dan stands. The two of them continue to walk down the ramp. Predator slides into the ring as Dan strolls up the black, metal ring steps. He ascends the turnbuckle from the outside and raises his arms as the crowd cheer. Moments later, he drops down onto the canvas and shakes Predator’s hand, who then gets out of the ring.
JENKINS: Accompanied to the ring by The Predator ...from Manchester, England ...weighing in at 245 pounds ...representing the Lost Heroes ...Dan “Dragon” Taylor
“Welcome to the Jungle” by Guns N’ Roses plays. After a moment, Pain rides onto the stage on his motorbike. With his lead pipe in his hand and his title around his waist, he begins to cycle down the ramp. He rides around the ring before parking his bike in front of the announcer’s table. He gets off the bike and slides into the ring. Taking off his belt, he raises it into the air as the crowd boo.
JENKINS: And his opponent, from New York City, New York ...weighing in at 210 pounds ...he is the FWF World Heavyweight Champion ...Pain!
The bell sounds and the two men lock up and Dan quickly circles around Pain, getting him in a waistlock. He goes for a German Suplex, but Pain begins to elbow Dan in the side of the head, forcing him to break the hold and stumble back. Pain then hooks Dan in a waistlock.
STRACHON: Both men trying to get it.
Dan grabs Pain’s left arm and spins under it to a hammerlock before quickly hooking him in a waistlock and nailing a German Suplex. Pain gets to his feet and Dan grabs him in a headlock.
STRACHON: Dan Taylor: the only man who’d think headlock after a German Suplex.
BETHEA: There’s nothing wrong with that, Sam.
Pain begins to elbow Dan in the stomach. He pulls him back towards the ropes and tries to push him off, but Dan takes Pain down to the ground, keeping the headlock applied. Pain begins to get up. He gets to one knee and then onto his feet.
BETHEA: Headlock still applied by arguably the best technical wrestler in FWF.
STRACHON: Key word being arguably.
BETHEA: You don’t like Dan Taylor now?
STRACHON: He insulted me last week, Beast.
Pain delivers a range of hard shots to the midsection of Dan. He then pushes him off, hard into the corner, sternum first. Dan stumbles back and Pain quickly grabs him in a waistlock before nailing a German Suplex.
STRACHON: The World Heavyweight Champion returning the favour.
Pain picks Dan up and gets him into an arm-wringer. He begins to wrench away at Dan’s arm. He then throws him shoulder first into the steel ring post.
STRACHON: Pain now... working on the arm.
BETHEA: And I know from experience that taking out the arm can do a lot of damage. Especially to a submission specialist such as Dan Taylor. He won’t be able to lock in the Sharpshooter as well.
As Dan comes out of the corner holding his arm, Pain grabs hold of it. He takes Dan down to the mat, trying to apply an armbar, but Dan manages to rolls out of it. Pain gets to his feet and runs at Dan, but Dan nails an armdrag. Dan gets up and holds his arm again. This time, Pain grabs it and is able to lock in the move.
BETHEA: Armbar applied.
STRACHON: You saw Dan hit that armdrag. That just made his arm even worse.
Dan reaches around. With the crowd behind him, he gets up to one knee. Getting fired up, a “DDT” chant starts as Dan gets to his feet. With his free hand, Pain goes for a left hook, but Dan ducks and grabs Pain in a reverse facelock position. He then nails an Inverted DDT to the knee. Pain rolls out of the ring.
BETHEA: What a counter. Where’s Pain going?
STRACHON: He’s going over to his bike, Bethea. I think he needs some back up.
Pain grabs the led pipe. He is about to take it back into the ring, but Predator grabs hold of it and pulls it away from Pain much to the pleasure of the crowd.
BETHEA: Predator felt that pipe last week... he doesn’t want his partner to get the same treatment.
Pain gets back into the ring as the referee leans out to tell Predator not to get involved. Dan kicks Pain and hooks his head. He is about to hit the Impaler DDT, but Pain ducks down and Low Blows Dan. Dan drops down to one knee in pain. Pain then connects with the Shining Wizard.
BETHEA: Shining Wizard after the low blow. Come on! The referee was busy with Predator.
STRACHON: Looks like Dan’s gonna get his first loss since his return.
BETHEA: Not this way.
Pain covers Dan. ...1 ...2 ...Predator reaches into the ring. Grabbing hold of Pain’s leg, he pulls Pain out of the ring.
BETHEA: Yes!
STRACHON: Is that legal?
BETHEA: It’s revenge is what it is. Pain almost stole one.
Pain and Predator stare down as the referee whispers something into ring announcer, Simon Jenkins’ ear. With Pain distracted, looking at Predator, Dan gets up. He bounces off the ropes and leaps to the outside, hitting Pain with a suicide dive.
STRACHON: Oh my God!
BETHEA: What a main event we have tonight.
JENKINS: Ladies and gentlemen ...the referee has ejected The Predator from ringside!
BETHEA: What? That’s not fair!
STRACHON: As much as I love the Predator, Bethea, the referee did what he had to do.
Dan gets up and looks at Predator. As Predator is getting worked up, Dan grabs him and says “Don’t worry about it”. Reluctantly, Predator makes his way up the ramp and backstage as the referee gets back into the ring. Dan picks Pain up and bangs his head against the announcer’s table. He then throws Pain back into the ring before getting in himself.
STRACHON: The World Heavyweight Champion is in trouble.
Dan takes a moment to re-adjust his testicles and make sure they’re both still there after the low blow. He then grabs Pain and picks him up. He raises him into the fireman’s carry position and the crowd begin to scream with approval. Dan turns around to look at the crowd, but as he does, Pain’s feet hit the referee, knocking him down.
STRACHON: Referee down.
Dan then nails the Dragon Slam. He hooks Pain’s leg for the count, but the referee is out.
BETHEA: This match should be over.
Dan gets up. He goes over to the referee and tries to recover him. Whilst Dan is distracted, Pain quickly gets out of the ring and grabs his lead pipe, bringing it back in. Dan turns around and Pain swings the pipe, hitting Dan in the head.
STRACHON: Ouch. Right in the skull.
Dan remains on his feet. Pain tosses the pipe to one side and takes a few steps back. He then nails THE Superkick. He covers, but the referee is unable to make the count.
STRACHON: ...one ...two ...three. Where are you, ref!?
BETHEA: Forget about the one, two and three... how about the D and the Q?
Pain picks the pipe up again and raises it into the air. Dan slowly begins to get up. Suddenly, King of Kings begins to run down the ramp. Dan stumbles back into the corner. King gets into the ring. Pain swings the pipe, but King ducks and lifts Pain up before slamming him to the mat with a spinebuster.
BETHEA: Spinebuster by the number one contender.
STRACHON: Get this guy out of there!
King then grabs Pain’s led pipe. He waits for Pain to get up. In doing so, King swings the pipe, hitting Pain in the head. King then tosses the pipe to the side. He hooks Pain’s arms and executes the Pedigree. He gets out of the ring as Dan is on the top rope. Dan leaps off, hitting the Diving Headbutt.
BETHEA: Diving Headbutt connects!
STRACHON: This is unbelievable. He shouldn’t be out here.
BETHEA: King of Kings has evened the odds and returned the favour.
Dan slowly gets to his feet. He looks out of the ring towards KOK as the crowd cheer. Dan then looks at Pain, lying unconscious on the ground. Dan grabs Pain’s legs. He hooks them with his own and turns him over, locking in the Sharpshooter. Pain has passed out. The bell sounds.
BETHEA: Thanks to King of Kings, we have a winner.
STRACHON: He cheated!
BETHEA: Only to counteract Pain’s cheating, Sam.
STRACHON: No. He just cheated! King is going to get what’s coming to him at Bloodthirst.
JENKINS: The winner of the match ...Dan “Dragon” Taylor!
BETHEA: What a main event to top off a great episode of Live-Wire.
STRACHON: This is the New Direction, Bethea.
Suddenly, Sah'ta Thor and Jason Fall run down the ramp and get into the ring. With his US belt, Thor hits Dan over the head, knocking him out. King tries to get into the ring, but Fall hits him with the belt. Predator begins to run down the ramp, but Empire of Blood flee.
STRACHON: What the hell?
BETHEA: All hell is breaking lose.
STRACHON: And we're out of time. Ladies and gentlemen, we will see you at Bloodthirst.
BETHEA: Goodnight.
