STRACHON: Everyone welcome to the A-Show, Live-Wire. I'm Sam Strachon
MYLES: And I'm Linda Myles. We'll be starting you off with a match that only Live-Wire can bring you.
The lights dim as the fans die down to a hush. Yellow lights dance erratically throughout the arena. The entrance ramp becomes swallowed in darkness as "TNT" by AC/DC starts to roll through the PA system. Immediately, a mixed reaction of cheers and boos bring the venue back to life. As the yellow lights dance about madly, one by one they start to focus in at the top of the entrance ramp. Each light reveals a silhouette of a man. As the last light connects, a man can be seen facing away from the crowd. He raises his arms palms up, as if to be saying, "here i am". BANG! A loud explosion sends the man turnabout and facing the crowd.
JENKINS: Ladies and Gentlemen the following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first ...from Lake Placid, New York ...weighing in at 254 pounds …Mike Dynasty!
More pyrotechnics go off as he walks slowly to the entrance ramp, smirking and soaking in the crowd. As children attempt to touch the icon, he pulls back and threatens to smack them. He saunters down to the ring, slides under the rope, gets up, and heads over to a turnbuckle. He mounts the corner turnbuckle and raises both his hands in the air, as more boos and cheers mix through the air. The lights then begin to flicker as Betrayal blares on the PA with Violator appearing on the stage. He begins walking slowly down the entrance ramp, as he shakes hands with audience members.
JENKINS: And his opponent ...from Chicago, Illinois ...weighing in at 267 pounds… Violator!
Violator continues down the ramp, eventually stopping at the ring. He slides in and poses on each turnbuckle, as the ref motions for the bell.
MYLES: And the match is now underway.
Violator and Dynasty circle the ring staring eachother down. They both proceed to the center of the ring and lock up. Neither man seems to be able to gain the upper hand, until Mike Dynasty kicks Violator in the stomach, and gets him in position for a suplex, and holds Violator up for a bit before slamming him to the mat.
STRACHON: Dynasty with a beautiful delayed vertical suplex.
MYLES: Good indeed, but I don't think it's enough for a win.
Violator stands back up, shaking off the pain as Dynasty comes at him with a clothesline. Violator ducks under Dynasty's extended arm, and hits a drop-toe hold on Dynasty, causing his neck to slam into the ropes. Dynasty grabs his neck, as he stands up, only to be hit with a dropkick by Violator.
MYLES: Doesn't seem either of these men plans on giving up.
STRACHON: Of course not. Especially not because of a dropkick.
Violator picks Dynasty up, and sets up for a powerbomb. Dynasty realizes his situation, and reverses it into an impaler DDT. Dynasty and Violator quickly make it back to their feet, and grapple once again. This time Dynasty overpowers Violator, hitting a Russian leg sweep on Violator, and following up with a knee drop.
MYLES: These guys are back and forth every five seconds.
STRACHON: 'Cuz they don't know the proper way to put away an opponent.
MYLES: I'd like to see you attempt that.
Dynasty picks Violator up, and Irish whips him into the turnbuckle. Dynasty then charges at Violator, sandwiching him. Dynasty pushes Violator back down to the mat, as He ascends the turnbuckle. Dynasty dives off the turnbuckle for an elbow drop, slamming his elbow into the mat just after Violator barely manages to roll out of the way.
STRACHON: Both men seem to be in pain now.
MYLES: It's still anyone's game here.
Violator picks up Dynasty, and DDTs him to the mat. He then picks him up, and throws him outside of the ring. Violator gets up on the top rope, and attempts a moonsault to the outside, as Dynasty manages to move out of the way. The referee begins to count. ...1 ...2 ...3 ...4 ...5.
MYLES: They need to get up or neither one of them will win!
...6 ...7 ...8 ...9 ...10. The bell sounds.
STRACHON: They had nothing left, it appears.
JENKINS: This contest has endend in a no contest due to a double countout!
Officials from the back come out and assist both men to the back. Red Flag hits the PA system as Shade enters the stage, and walks down the entrance ramp as the crowd begins cheering for Shade.
JENKINS: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first ...weighing in at 341 pounds …Shade!
Shade runs to the ring and slides in as he awaits his opponent. Just then Couch Potato blares on the PA as Couch Potato rolls down in a lazy boy, ignoring the boos from the fans. He parks next to the ring, and gets in.
JENKINS: And his opponent ...weighing in at 180 pounds …Couch Potato!
STRACHON: Here's another easy win for the wWo.
MYLES: What makes you think that? Shade is quite impressive for a newcomer.
Shade and Couch circle the ring, as Couch goes up to Shade, and hugs him. Shade gets a surprised looks on his face as he pushes Couch off of him. Couch looks up at Shade sadly, as he charges him, spearing Shade to the mat.
STRACHON: Doesn't he know to never upset a wWo member?
MYLES: I would've done the same thing if I were Shade.
Shade stands up, as he is hit by a clothesline from Couch. Couch then drops his fist onto the head of Shade. He climbs up the turnbuckle, and jumps off attempting a headbutt, nailing his head on the mat as Shade rolls out of the way.
MYLES: Crash and burn.
STRACHON: No, Couch is just toying with him.
Shade picks up Couch, and slams Couch down to the mat with a suplex. Shade picks up Couch again for another suplex, but Couch licks him in the forehead. Shade then pushes Couch away, as Couch hits a haymaker on Shade.
STRACHON: See, he's making a comeback.
MYLES: After licking him…
Couch DDTs Shade to the mat, and quickly puts him in a headlock. Shade desperately tries to break the hold, but is unable to. Couch releases it after noticing Shade isn't moving, and goes to lock in a boston crab, when shade kicks Couch off of him. Shade stands up, but is hit with a bulldog by Couch. Couch then picks shade up and sets him up for a piledriver, spiking shade's head to the mat. The ref counts the pin. ...1 ...2 ...3.
STRACHON: He just hit the Crack! For the win.
JENKINS: Here is your winner …Couch Potato!
STRACHON: Don't go anywhere folks, we'll be back with more action.
MYLES: And I'm Linda Myles. We'll be starting you off with a match that only Live-Wire can bring you.
