MYLES: Hello and welcome to Live-Wire. I’m Linda Myles.
STRACHON: And I’m Sam Strachon. What a show we have for you tonight.
MYLES: In our main event, James Bohne takes on Oswald Brodd.
STRACHON: And the rest of the wWo will face the US tag team champions in non-title action.
MYLES: And that’s not all, coming up…
Suddenly, “Sparkle and Shine” by Econoline Crush plays. After a moment, Mark Briggs enters the arena. The crowd boo as he stands on stage with a microphone, wearing a black suit with a blue shirt.
DOA BRIGGS: Hello, great Live-Wire fans. It is I… your Director of Authority, Mr. Mark Biggs.
STRACHON: Oh, God.
MYLES: What?
STRACHON: He’s as idiotic as his father.
DOA BRIGGS: I came out here for a number of reasons. The first one is the Iron Man title tournament. At Bloodthirst, Violator defeated Dominator, advancing into round two. Two superstars will face off next week in yet another round one match.
MYLES: I can’t wait for this.
DOA BRIGGS: In one corner will be a newcomer to FWF. Let’s see if he can prove his worth… Shade! And his opponent… someone who has been here for a fair bit of time. A member of the wWo …Couch Potato.
STRACHON: Yes! Shade will get destroyed.
DOA BRIGGS: Also, seeing as I mentioned Bloodthirst, I have some news regarding the main event. Although Mr. Bethea won his match against Mr. Bohne, he felt that a disqualification was not the end of it. And so, Mike Farrell has informed me that a match will be taking place.
MYLES: A match?
DOA BRIGGS: He said that Mr. Bethea is an FWF legend and not just a Live-Wire one. He also stated that if Mr. Bohne wanted to try and own this place, he would have to try his luck on Monday Night Rampage. With that said… at FWF Black Out it will be Ernest “The Beast” Bethea …versus “The Assassin” James Bohne.
STRACHON: Wow, that’s huge news.
MYLES: I can’t wait.
DOA BRIGGS: Last Man Standing! Enjoy the rest of the show.
As the crowd begin to cheer for the announcement, Briggs walks behind the curtain. “Remedy” by Seether plays. After a moment, KOK and Shawn Fuller enter the arena to a cheering audience. The two of them walk down the ramp and get into the ring. They then get on opposite turnbuckles and hold their belts into the air.
JENKINS: The following match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first …at a combined weight of 524 pounds …they are the FWF United States Tag Team champions …Shawn Fuller and the King of Kings!
A neon green light surrounds the arena as “Line in the Sand” by Motorhead plays. McCroon stands on stage smiling. Seconds later, Couch and Mak join him. The three of them walk down the ramp. Mak and Couch get into the ring.
JENKINS: And their opponents …at a combined weight of 385 pounds …the team of Gangsta Mak and Couch Potato …the Weird World Order!
The bell sounds and Couch starts things off with KOK. They lock up and KOK over powers Couch into the corner. He goes for a right hand, but Couch ducks. He then punches KOK in the side of the head. He Irish-whips him, but KOK reverses, sending Couch into the opposite corner.
STRACHON: Come on, Potato!
Couch stumbles out and KOK hits him with a clothesline. Couch gets up and KOK hooks his head. He then lifts him up into the air before crashing him down with a suplex. He goes for the cover. …1 …2. Couch kicks out.
MYLES: You’re cheering did no good, Sam.
STRACHON: Listen, woman…
MYLES: Watch your mouth.
KOK picks Couch up, but Couch pokes him in the eye. He then hits the shining wizard before tagging in Mak. Mak quickly gets in and takes KOK down with a spear. He covers. …1 …2. KOK kicks out. Mak picks him up.
STRACHON: This is great team work by wWo.
MYLES: No doubt they work well as a team, but I still disagree with some of their tactics.
STRACHON: Some of their tactics?
MYLES: Okay, all of them.
STRACHON: Hey!
Mak then tags in Couch. Couch comes in and charges at KOK, knocking him down with a clothesline. KOK is getting to his feet as Couch tags Mak back in.
MYLES: Quick tags.
Mak Irish-whips KOK into the corner, but KOK reverses. He then runs at Mak, but Mak moves out of the way and KOK hits the turnbuckle. Gangsta Mak then connects with a dropkick.
STRACHON: Great move!
Mak tags in Couch. He then picks KOK up onto his feet. Both Couch and Mak hook KOK’s head. They then nail a double suplex. Couch goes for the cover as Mak gets on the outside. …1 …2. KOK kicks out.
MYLES: Not quite.
Couch waits for KOK to get up. In doing so, Potato hits the shining wizard. KOK stumbles around for a bit before Couch takes him down with a neckbreaker. He covers. …1 …2. KOK kicks out and Couch tags in Mak.
MYLES: In comes the former cruiserweight champion.
STRACHON: Don’t rub it in.
Mak grabs KOK. He then Irish-whips him, but KOK reverses. Mak bounces back and KOK hits him with a spinebuster out of desperation. Both men try to reach over and tag their partners.
STRACHON: Who can get to their corners first?
Mak is able to tag in Couch. Couch grabs KOK’s leg. KOK stands, hopping on his one free leg. He then quickly hits a clothesline before making the tag to Shawn.
MYLES: In comes Fuller!
Mak runs at Fuller, but Shawn clotheslines him down. Mak gets up and runs at Shawn, but also receives a clothesline. Mak gets up again and Shawn kicks him in the stomach before hooking his arms.
MYLES: Can we see it?
STRACHON: NO!
Shawn then nails the pedigree. He stands. He is about to cover, but Couch walks over to him from behind. Before Couch has a chance to do anything, KOK hits him with a high knee, knocking him out of the ring. KOK then picks Shawn up and hits him with a second pedigree before covering. …1 …2 …3.
JENKINS: Here are your winners …the FWF US Tag Team champions …The King of Kings and Shawn Fuller!
The scene quickly cuts to the backstage area. Stood in front of a wall with a Live-Wire banner hanging from it is The Predator. His Heavyweight World title is draped over his shoulder and mixed reactions are heard from the crowd in the arena.
PREDATOR: Ever since Bloodthirst, when I made my return to FWF by switching brands, I’ve been asked the same question: “Why, Predator, why?” As clichéd as that is, that’s what I’ve been hearing. Why did I attack Camisado last week? Well, you see… it’s quite simple.
MYLES: This should be good.
STRACHON: It’s the Predator, of course it will be.
MYLES: I was being sarcastic.
PREDATOR: The reason dates back to Collision. Not FWF versus wWo… but a year back. FWF versus UCW. That’s right… the company that I helped build from scratch. I held the UCW title seven times. Seven… times. That company meant everything to me and I thought it was the best company alive.
STRACHON: It was!
PREDATOR: And then FWF beat us. Once again, the golden child of FWF, Dan Taylor was the sole survivor in the All or Nothing match and he put an end to UCW. I eventually thought that… that we’d been beaten by the best.
MYLES: Sam, you’ve commentated for both FWF and UCW… which do you prefer?
STRACHON: UCW without a doubt.
PREDATOR: Then this year at Collision, I was proved wrong once again. Team wWo completely destroyed team FWF. Four members remained. What does that say about FWF? It says that we’re low. The company that I’ve respected and defended since UCW was ran out of business. And if FWF aren’t the best, then UCW were beaten by scum.
MYLES: Hey!
PREDATOR: By Camisado losing to Weird World Order, he has spat on both the FWF legacy and the UCW legacy. He does not deserve to be here. Next week, I’ve been put in a match against Camisado. I’m going to teach him a lesson… about FWF… about UCW. Camisado… I am the Predator… and you are the prey!
MYLES: Don’t go anywhere… more Live-Wire when we return!
STRACHON: And I’m Sam Strachon. What a show we have for you tonight.
MYLES: In our main event, James Bohne takes on Oswald Brodd.
