BETHEA: Welcome to Live-Wire. I’m Ernest Bethea.
STRACHON: And I’m Sam Strachon.
BETHEA: We’re not wasting any time tonight. Over to Simon Jenkins.
JENKINS: The following match scheduled is for one fall! Introducing first...
”Wasteland” begins to play as the One steps out from behind the curtain. He moves to the top of the ramp and looks out at the crowd with a cocky smile on his face and points to a few fans as he begins his walk down the ramp and towards the ring. As he gets closer to the ring he breaks into a sprint and slides in under the bottom rope. He pops to his feet and makes his way over to a corner where he climbs to the top and looks out at the crowd again before coming back down to the mat and posing with his arms crossed waiting for the match to start.
JENKINS: ...weighing in at 218 pounds… The One!
St Anger by Metallica then begins to play the crowd boo as Anthony Douglas steps out from behind the curtain. Anthony jumps on the spot and raises his arms out as the crowd continue to boo. Anthony walks down the ramp some more as Lisa Jones follows behind. The crowd boo as he spins around as the pyros go off around him. Anthony Douglas makes his way down to the steps as he climbs them he sits on the second rope to allow Lisa to enter the ring kissing her on the way in before entering the ring himself and jumping on the top rope as the crowd boo. The Innovator points at a part of the crowd before with a smirk on his face flexing his muscles.
JENKINS: And his opponent ...weighing in at 210 pounds …Anthony Douglas!
BETHEA: Finally some actual wrestlers are here to take that title back to the FWF.
STRACHON: Why would you want them to, did you not see how the wWo dominated team FWF at Collision? wWo really do deserve to own this place. Just like my main guy James Bohne will prove to you soon enough.
BETHEA: I wouldn’t be too sure about that, I have more in me than that freak thinks.
STRACHON: Hey, no need for name calling.
BETHEA: Oh but he can call me washed up?
STRACHON: Well he used it within reason, but let’s get back to the match, you can understand that these two men are determined to win this match, only to lose to the current wWo Cruiserweight Champion.
BETHEA: Whatever you say.
Douglas and The One circle the ring staring at one another. The two then grapple up, with neither man coming out more powerful. After about two minutes of neither man budging, The One kicks Douglas in the stomach, and hits him with a DDT. Douglas quickly gets up, shaking off the pain easily. He runs after The One and hit’s a clothesline, quickly getting down and putting The One in a headlock.
STRACHON: If Gangsta Mak were in this match, he’d have finished this by now.
BETHEA: I better not see you take off your shirt and see a wWo shirt underneath.
STRACHON: Hehe… maybe maybe not. But don’t get your hopes up I like this shirt, it’s comfy.
The referee gets down to check on The One, who is starting to get worn out. Douglas begins to tighten the hold, and the ref is asking The One if he gives up. Douglas eventually releases the hold, and ascends a turnbuckle, he then hits a leg drop, landing on the neck of The One.
STRACHON: This guy is brutal, he isn’t hiding the fact that he wants this gold.
BETHEA: What guy wouldn’t?
STRACHON: Don’t you have a match to train for.
BETHEA: I don’t need training for a match against a punk like him.
Douglas then picks up The One, who begins throwing lefts and rights into the stomach of Douglas, but Douglas fires back, and eventually overpowers The One, sending him to the turnbuckle. Douglas then gets on the second rope, and sets up for a Tornado DDT. He goes to hit it on The One, but is caught in mid air, and slammed down to the ground on his back.
STRACHON: Looks like he tried that a little too early, that could cost him the match.
BETHEA: Well you nev…
STRACHON: er know… you are so predictable… Maybe a little too predictable.
The One takes the time to capitalize, and puts Douglas in a triangle choke. Douglas reaches for the ropes, but is unable to grab them. The One keeps tightening the hold, as Douglas tries to retaliate, but is unable break the hold, However after enough fighting, Douglas was able to get close enough to the ropes and force the hold to be broken.
BETHEA: Just when you think the match ends…
STRACHON: one little thing changes everything… we know, we know.
Douglas struggles to get to his feet, when The One comes running at him, but is met by an elbow to the stomach by Douglas. Douglas then backs The One into the corner, and attempts another Tornado DDT, connecting The One’s head to the mat.
STRACHON: And for our next ma…
BETHEA: It isn’t even over yet, could you at least wait for the bell.
Douglas then goes for the pin and the referee counts. ...1 ...2 ...3.
STRACHON: Told ya.
JENKINS: The winner of this match ...Anthony Douglas!
The One rolls out under the bottom rope and makes his way to the back. Moments later, Anthony gets out of the ring and heads backstage.
JENKINS: The following match is a Loser leaves FWF tag team match, now making their way to the ring, they are two members of the wWo… Rage and Vinyl Atari!
Two green lights flash down as Line in the Sand blares on the P.A. and Rage and Atari enter through the curtain. The two men then run down the ramp and into the ring and wait for the arrival of the tag team champions.
JENKINS: And their opponents… Novo Fas!
'O Fortuna' hits, and blue and purple lights start to illuminate the arena. Smoke slowly rises from the stage. Slowly, Daniels comes out, a grimace on his face. "The Enygma" Eric Wiles right behind him, never more than a few feet back. After a few seconds, Daniels slowly makes his way down to the ring, the scowl never leaving. Wiles stays close, his gaze darting back and forth throughout the crowd, an expression of hate, fear, and pity for the fans of the arena. As Daniels gets to the ring, he takes a slow lap around it, before rolling in. He scans the crowd, showing his contempt, before he finally fixes his gaze on his opponents.
BETHEA: Matt Daniels and Vinyl Atari are starting this one out.
STRACHON: Where’d you figure that one out from? The fact that their partners are in the corners?
BETHEA: Watch it.
STRACHON: Ha, Rage and Atari are partners with the very guy who has the right to say that to you come Bloodthirst.
BETHEA: Well, he wishes anyways.
Daniels and Atari begin to stare at each other, and soon lock-up. Atari throws Daniels down to the mat, and begins stomping away at him. He immediately goes to lock in a triangle choke. As Wiles enters the ring to break up the hold, Rage rushes in before Wiles can make the save. Daniels seems to be about to tap out, when Stricken by Disturbed blares on the P.A. and James Bohne comes out from behind the curtain, and stands on the stage.
STRACHON: Speak of the devil.
BETHEA: What the hell is he doing there, he better stay out of this match if he knows what’s good for him.
Atari looks down the entranceway as James nods to him, and Rage knocks out the ref with a low blow from behind. James then runs down the ramp and puts on the ref’s shirt. Atari turns Daniels over and goes for the pin. James counts the pin. Bethea then throws his headset off and quickly rushes for the ring to attack James from behind, when James purposely stops at a two count. Bethea looks at James confused, and sits back down.
STRACHON: You need to stop jumping to conclusions.
BETHEA: I had my reasons.
James then hits Atari with a JKO, and hits Rage with Sweet Bohne Music, and places Matt Daniels over Atari. James is seen mouthing the word "disgrace as he quickly counts the pin. ...1 ...2 ...3.
JENKINS: Here are your winners… Novo Fas!
BETHEA: Vinyl and Rage are out!
Both members of Novo Fas then stand up and look at James confused, as James shakes each of their hands. After both men turn around ge then attacks both of them, and throws them out of the ring, as Bethea once again stands up and yells at James from outside the ring.
STRACHON: This is getting ridiculous.
Strachon also gets up, and throws Bethea into the ring as James begins to stomp away at Bethea, who stands up unaffected, and nails James with a Bethea Bomb. Don Lepore then runs down to the ring, and goes for an Italian Boot, but Bethea catches it, and throws Lepore to the mat. As Bethea turns around he is hit with a JKO by James. James then leaves the ring dragging Don Lepore with him as the scene fades to black.
STRACHON: Don't go away folks, we'll be back soon.
STRACHON: And I’m Sam Strachon.
