STRACHON: Welcome to Live-Wire. We are live once again on Stampede TV. I am Sam Strachon.
BETHEA: And I am Ernest Bethea. Let’s talk about our main event.
STRACHON: The Hardcore title is on the line, Beast. James Bohne will put his belt up for grabs against the Viking.
BETHEA: That’s right, Oswald Brodd challenges. Also, the new team of Matt Daniels and Eric Wiles will face off against another new team, Anna and The Saint.
STRACHON: James Bohne isn’t the only wWo member in action. There will be a 6-man tag team match. wWo’s Gangsta Mak, Couch Potato and Rage will challenge the random team of Shiv from MNR, the King of Kings and Shawn Fuller.
BETHEA: And their latest edition to the stable, Vinyl Atari will go one on one with FWF veteran, Camisado.
STRACHON: And that match is up next!
"Give Up the Grudge" by Gob hits the P.A. System. Orange spotlights aimlessly search the arena, soon making their way to the wall opposite the entrance. They go up the wall and form letters, spelling out "The New Cancer". After the main guitar riff at the beginning ends, Camisado jumps out from behind the entrance as seventeen orange pyros shoot off from behind him.
JENKINS: The following match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first ...weighing in at 184 pounds ...now residing in Dayton, Ohio …Camisado!
Camisado begins to jog down the entrance ramp, though only moving an inch or so with each step, moving along with the beat. As he walks down, more orange pyros on each side of the ramp shoot off, simultaneous with his steps. He then circles the ring, more pyros still following him. He makes his way around to the front of the ring, closest to the ramp. He slides into the ring and begins running back and forth, bouncing off the ropes. He pulls himself up to two opposite turnbuckles and grins out towards the crowd, mouthing "The New Cancer" on his way back to the ring floor.
STRACHON: There isn’t anything I can’t stand more than that poor excuse for a wrestler right there.
BETHEA: Are you serious? He is a former cruiserweight champion, and has won his fair share of matches.
STRACHON: A “fair share” doesn’t make you good. Winning makes you good.
BETHEA: I’d like to see you wrestle.
STRACHON: I’m a former UCW Champion!
Red and blue lights fill the arena as “Come On Feel The Noise” plays. Vinyl walks out looks around, and walks cockily down to the ramp, with an assortment of boos and cheers. He slides into the ring, gets up on a turnbuckle and raises his arms. He jumps off the turnbuckle as the ref motions for the bell.
STRACHON: Now that guy right there is a wrestler.
BETHEA: Why? ‘Cause he’s in the wWo? Jeez you should just marry one of those guys.
STRACHON: Oh really? How many of them have you beaten in a match by yourself?
BETHEA: Yeah turn everything on me. When was the last time you’ve beaten one of the wWo… Or anyone for that matter?
Camisado starts out the match charging at Vinyl knocking him to the floor, stomping on his back several times. He then runs into the ropes, and comes back with a leg drop on Atari across the neck. Atari is grabbing his neck in pain. Camisado picks him up by the hair, and slams him back down. Camisado then ascends a turnbuckle, and hits an elbow drop on Vinyl. Camisado goes on the turnbuckle again, and goes for another elbow drop, but overshoots it, hitting the ref, knocking him out of the ring. Camisado gets back up and goes to pick up Vinyl, when out of nowhere Vinyl hits him with a low blow, Bringing Cam to his knees. Vinyl takes advantage, and kicks Camisado in the back of the head, knocking him over.
STRACHON: See, this is why wWo is the greatest ever. They form a brand new stable with Camisado. Turn on him, and beat the hell out of him.
BETHEA: Are you kidding me? Ganging up on one person is not “Great”.
STRACHON: Well, if you will watch how Vinyl dominates Camisado, then you will see what I mean.
Atari decides to capitalize, and hits an elbow drop on Camisado. He then locks a headlock on camisado, as the referee gets back into the ring. The ref gets down to check on Camisado. Cam elbows Vinyl’s chest, making him loosen the hold. Cam then stands up, picking Vinyl up with him. He then slams Vinyl down on the mat, and goes over to the ropes, leaning on them. Cam notices Vinyl about to get up, so he runs over to him and knees him in the face, knocking him over again.
BETHEA: Oh, and where’s this greatness I’m supposed to see? I see Camisado taking control right now.
STRACHON: Shame on you, you aren’t supposed to be playing favorites.
BETHEA: You need help.
Camisado then waits for Vinyl to get up, and when he does, he runs off of the ropes, and goes for the Pulse, however Vinyl hits a drop-toe-hold, slamming Camisado’s face into the mat. Vinyl then gets Cam in an ankle lock. The referee checks on Cam asking if he gives up, and Cam shakes his head no. Camisado then kicks Vinyl off of him, leaving both men laying on the mat.
BETHEA: Both men are down!
The referee begins to count. ...1 ...2. Camisado is seen moving as Vinyl gets to his knees. ...3 ...4. Vinyl gets to one knee. ...5 ...6. He walks over to Camisado, but Camisado suddenly nips up. He then kicks Vinyl in the stomach and executes the Pulse. ...1 ...2 ...3.
JENKINS: Here is your winner …Camisado!
BETHEA: Well, we have a winner! …And Cammy is his name-o.
“Suddenly, “Open Their Eyes” by Alter Bridge plays. Jack Thunder enters the arena, wearing a wWo t-shirt, with a microphone in hand. He walks to the center of the stage and stares out at Camisado. He then raises the microphone up to his mouth and begins to speak as the music fades.
THUNDER: For those of you who don’t know who I am, let me introduce myself. I am the single greatest wrestler on the face of this earth. My name is Jack Thunder.
BETHEA: And his point is?
STRACHON: Shh, he’s talking.
THUNDER: I suppose you all want to know why I am out here tonight. I am here for you, Camisado. Everybody and their grandmother knows that you do not get along with the best faction on this planet. I mean, there have been many matches between your stable, whether it be The Real Deal, Generation X or just X.
STRACHON: That’s true.
THUNDER: And out of all your partners, it appears that you are the only one left.
Camisado moves over and leans against the ropes, with a look of confusion and slight anger on his face. A “Camisado” chant begins. Jack looks around at the packed stadium full of fans. He shakes his head and continues to talk.
THUNDER: So I thought that on behalf of wWo, I would issue a challenge. You see, I have just come from the DOA’s office. Mark Briggs accepted my match, but only if you agree to it. Next month, there is a little show that we call Collision.
BETHEA: Got that right. Friday 22nd of September.
THUNDER: And the main event from each of the two shows will be the same. They will be elimination style five man tags. The All or Nothing match. So here is what I propose.
STRACHON: I think I know what’s coming.
THUNDER: I propose that on the Live-Wire side of things, we have five members from the wWo taking on you, Camisado and any four wrestlers you can find on our roster. I will leave you to think about that, but in the mean time, turn around.
Camisado slowly turns, when from out of nowhere, Vinyl Atari hits the NKO. The crowd boo as Jack begins to run down the ramp. He slides into the ring as Camisado is slowly getting to his feet. Jack then nails the Charge, laying Camisado out.
BETHEA: NO! What the hell was that about?
STRACHON: I don’t know, let’s see if Camisado is man enough to answer the challenge.
Jack and Vinyl shake hands. They then climb out of the ring. With the crowd booing, they walk up the ramp and head backstage. After a few minutes, Camisado gets up. Holding his ribs and his neck, he climbs out of the ring and staggers after them.
BETHEA: Well, a tag team match is coming up next.
“O Fortuna” hits, and blue and purple lights start to illuminate the arena. Smoke slowly rises from the stage. Slowly, Daniels comes out, a grimace on his face. "The Enygma" Eric Wiles right behind him, never more than a few feet back. After a few seconds, Daniels slowly makes his way down to the ring, the scowl never leaving. Wiles stays close, his gaze darting back and forth throughout the crowd, an expression of hate, fear, and pity for the fans of the arena. As Daniels gets to the ring, he takes a slow lap around it, before rolling in. He scans the crowd, showing his contempt, before he finally fixes his gaze on the titontron. Wiles circles the ring, hating or loving what is about to come. Daniels slowly lifts his right arm, and Wiles slides between his legs, and poses, an evil grin across his face
JENKINS: The following match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first …the team of Matt Daniels and Eric Wiles …Novo Fas!
“Boulevard of Broken Dreams” by Greenday plays. Anna makes her way out, with The Saint next to her. The dup begin to walk down the ramp and climb into the ring.
JENKINS: And their opponents… the team of Anna …and The Saint!
The bell sounds. Wiles and Anna start off. They lock up and Wiles overpowers Anna into a free corner. He then Irish-whips her into the opposite corner, before running at her and hitting the Stinger Splash. She stumbles out and quickly goes for a clothesline. Eric ducks, grabbing her as he goes. He then connects with the STO.
BETHEA: A beautiful move by The Enygma.
STRACHON: Anna hasn’t got a move in yet!
Wiles picks Anna up. He moves her over to his corner and tags in Matt Daniels. Daniels kicks Anna in the stomach. He then executes the Sambo suplex. He goes for the cover, hooking her leg. ...1 ...2. Anna kicks out. Matt picks her up, but she rakes him in the eye, trying to get the advantage. She then bounces off the ropes and goes for a clothesline, but Daniels ducks, grabbing her arm as he goes behind her, applying a Half Nelson. After a moment, he nails the half nelson suplex.
STRACHON: Oh my God!
BETHEA: Dropping her right on her head.
STRACHON: That misogynist.
BETHEA: I’m not sure about that. This is wrestling. We don’t take gender into consideration.
Anna leaps over to her corner and tags in The Saint. Saint climbs the top rope, but Matt gives him a right hand. Daniels then tags in Eric Wiles. He comes in and quickly hits a superkick to Saint’s gut, whilst sitting on the top rope. Saint turns around, still on the top and Wiles climbs the tunbuckle with him, getting him in a waistlock.
BETHEA: I don’t like the looks of this.
Wiles then applies the Passive Resistance, falling back so both men are in the tree of woe. Matt Daniels enters the ring as The Saint is screaming in pain. Daniels then spears both The Saint and his partner, forcing Eric to release the hold. Matt climbs out of the ring as Eric slowly covers The Saint. ...1 ...2 ...3.
JENKINS: The winners of the match …Matt Daniels and Eric Wiles …Novo Fas!
STRACHON: That was impressive!
BETHEA: Anna and the Saint for no offence what-so-ever.
STRACHON: Novo Fas will be a team not to be reckoned with.
BETHEA: Well, we’re going to have to take a short break.
STRACHON: Afraid so, but don’t go anywhere. More great action is coming up, when we return to Live-Wire!
BETHEA: And I am Ernest Bethea. Let’s talk about our main event.
