The show opens with the camera circling the arena. Blue lights are flashing and the crowd are screaming. The Original Horseman theme plays and Ernest Bethea walks out on stage, wearing a suit.
STRACHON: Hello everybody, I’m Sam Strachon and you are watching Live-Wire; the first pre-draft show.
Bethea makes his way down the ramp. With “Thank you, Ernest” chants, he walks around the ring. He then takes a seat with Strachon and places on a headset.
STRACHON: Joining me on the commentary team is none other than the first inductee into the FWF Hall Of Fame, Ernest Bethea.
BETHEA: Hello and hi.
STRACHON: We don’t wanna waste any time here, let’s get straight to the action.
“So Far Away” By Staind plays. Shawn Fuller enters the arena. He walks down the ramp. He then kicks air as fireworks explode behind him. He gets into the ring.
JENKINS: This next contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first …from Duram, North Carolina …weighing in at 264 pounds …Shawn Fuller!
STRACHON: That right there is Simon Jenkins …the former ring announcer from UCW and new ring announcer for FWF.
“Open Your Eyes” by Alter Bridge plays. Thunder makes his way out on stage. He jogs on the spot slightly and then runs at full speed down the ramp. He slides under the bottom rope and ascends the turnbuckle to a cheering crowd.
JENKINS: From London, England …weighing in at 213 pounds …Jack Thunder!
The bell sounds. Shawn goes for a clothesline, but Jack ducks. Jack then comes back with a flying headscissors, taking Shawn over to the outside.
STRACHON: What a move!
Fuller gets up and looks in the ring. Jack then springboards and hits a cross body to the outside.
STRACHON: Oh my god! If you ask me, it’s pretty stupid to do a move like that so early on in the match.
Jack picks Fuller up. He then rolls him into the ring before climbing in himself. He quickly goes for the cover. …1 …2. Shawn kicks out. Jack picks him up and Irish-whips him into the corner. Jack runs at him for a splash, but Shawn explodes out of the corner with a tornado DDT. He covers Jack. …1 …2. Jack kicks out.
BETHEA: Not quite!
Shawn heads to the top rope as Jack quickly gets up. Jack runs over to the corner and delivers a right hand to Shawn. He then climbs the turnbuckle. Jack nails a superplex. He pins Fuller. …1 …2. Shawn gets his shoulder up.
BETHEA: Even after a move like that, Shawn Fuller will continue.
Jack takes a few steps back and crouches down. He waits as Shawn gets up. Jack then goes for the Charge, but Shawn ducks and Jack hits the corner post. He stumbles out and is met with a dominator from Shawn.
BETHEA: Ouch.
STRACHON: It’s gotta be over.
Shawn goes for the cover. …1 …2. Jack kicks out. Shawn picks Jack up. He Irish-whips him and goes for a clothesline. Jack ducks it. Shawn turns around and Jack connects with a dropkick. Jack then heads to the top rope. He leaps off with The Shocker, but Shawn moves out of the way. Shawn waits for Jack to get up.
STRACHON: He just crashed and burned. That had to take a lot out of him.
Shawn goes for the SKO. Jack counters it and pushes Fuller off into the ropes. Jack bounces off the opposite set of ropes and nails Shawn with the Charge. He covers Shawn. …1 …2 …3.
JENKINS: The winner of the match …Jack Thunder!
STRACHON: The tag team specialist is victorious in singles competition.
BETHEA: Let’s hope it continues.
STRACHON: I’d like to take this opportunity to talk about our upcoming event. Live from Melbourne, Australia… Friday the 21st July, FWF and Live-Wire present …Hotter Than Hell.
BETHEA: And that sounds like an awesome event already, Sam. The heated, mind the pun, rivalry between Insomniac and Camisado continues when they finally meet in the ring one on one.
STRACHON: A member of the greatest stable in FWF, Gangsta Mak… challenged for the cruiserweight title.
BETHEA: Let’s hope we see things heat up between the two in upcoming weeks.
STRACHON: And in our main event, a tables match will decided the world heavyweight championship. Don Lepore takes on X-Ecutioner.

“Deify” by Disturbed plays. The crowd boo as Kyle Evers makes his way on stage, smiling. He walks to one side of the ramp and looks out at the crowd. After a moment, he slowly walks to the opposite side. He then walks to the middle of the stage. After a long pause, he raises his arms as the crowd boo. He then begins to walk down the ramp.
JENKINS: The following match scheduled is for one fall. Introducing first, from Los Angeles, California …weighing in at 210 pounds …he is your new messiah …Kyle Evers!
Kyle Evers gets to the ring and places both of his hands on the ropes and gets one knee up before looking out at the crowd. Kyle then stands up and leans back with his arms draped over the ropes before tilting his head down. Evers lifts his head up and his arms out ward in line with his shoulders with his hands open wide as the crowd boos wildly only putting a smile on Kyle Evers’ face. He then turns back towards the ropes and springs into the ring rolling to one knee. Evers drags his hand across the mat before getting up waiting for the match to begin.
JENKINS: And his opponent…
A loud Mettalic screech is heard and the lights flicker. A red light engulfes the arena. And the fans erupt in a loud roaring mixture of boos and cheers. Fireworks explode and “Bark at the Moon” by Black Sabbath hits as Insomniac walks slowly out. He methodically makes his way to the ring. He slowly climbs the turnbuckle raising his arm to the mixed reaction of the crowd.
JENKINS: Weighing in at 210 pounds …Insomniac! And their opponent …from Newark, New Jersey …weighing in at 230 pounds …B. George!
“Hell’s Bells” by AC/DC plays. B. George makes his way to the ring. The bell sounds. Insomniac and Kyle go for a double clothesline. George ducks. Kyle and Insomniac turn around. Kyle runs at George, but is caught with a belly to bell suplex.
BETHEA: Impressive.
Insomniac runs at George, but receives a spinebuster. George goes for the cover. …1 …2. Insomniac kicks out. George picks Insomniac up. He then Irish whips him into the corner. Insomniac stumbles out and is hit with a side slam.
BETHEA: It looks like B. George is taking control, Sam. I know you’re not gonna like that.
Kyle gets up. George picks Kyle up into the fireman’s carry. He is about to hit the NJ Slam, but Insomniac hits a spear out of nowhere. He goes for the cover. …1 …2. George kicks out.
STRACHON: The tables have turned, Bethea. A spear from Insomniac.
Kyle picks George up. He and Insomniac hook George’s head. They then hit him with a double suplex.
STRACHON: Now this is the smart thing to do. Both of these men want to win. What better way to do it than to team up and eliminate B. George from the mix.
B. George slowly gets up. Kyle bounces against the ropes and connects with a running knee smash. Insomniac bounces off the ropes and hits a legdrop. Insomniac covers George. …1. Evers breaks up the pin. Evers then covers George. …1. Insomniac breaks up the pin.
BETHEA: Teamwork over?
STRACHON: Well, they still both want to win.
Insomniac grabs Evers and throws him over the top rope to the outside. Insomniac then picks George up. He Irish-whips him into the ropes. Insomniac then nails a sidewalk slam. He covers George. …1 …2. George kicks out. Insomniac picks George up. He then goes for the superkick, but George ducks.
STRACHON: It would have been over if he got that, Ernest.
Evers gets up. George picks Insomniac up in the fireman’s carry. He then nails the NJ Slam. He is about to cover Insomniac when Evers grabs his foot from the outside. Evers then pulls George out of the ring, and then climbs in. Kyle covers Insomniac. …1 …2 …3.

BETHEA: Talk about stealing the thunder.
STRACHON: That was brilliant.
BETHEA: I think that’s an overstatement.
STRACHON: What? B. George hit a move and was unable to capitalise. Evers was able to.
