The lights turn out, and a viral-style video hits the screen, to the sounds of Machine Head’s “Declaration”. Once the video subsides, there is a momentary lull, followed by a thunderous drum beat, signalling the start of “Davidian” by Machine Head. The opening guitar riff sounds, and is accompanied by an explosion of fireworks. “The” Ross Walker stands at the top of the entranceway, his head bowed, his arms forming an “X” shape below his chin. As a spotlight glares on him, his arms stretch sharply out to his side, with fireworks exploding in sync. He then walks methodically down to the ring, stopping just before he enters to stare at it. He then takes off his jacket and rolls into the ring.
CHARLES: From Newcastle, England ...weighing in at 235 pounds ...”The” Ross Walker!
