The official Jealousy 5 theme tune “Face Down” by the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus begins to play. It then cuts off as the MNR music, “Numb” by Linkin Park plays, signalling the start of the show.
LEGEND: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to Fantasy Wrestling Federation.
STRACHON: Welcome to Monday Night Rampage.
LEGEND: And welcome to the start of the Jealousy tournament! I am Johnny Legend.
STRACHON: And I’m Sam “the fucking man” Strachon. We are live from Madison Square Gardens.
LEGEND: Tonight, we kick off Jealousy with four of the eight first round matches. Who’s facing who? We don’t know.
Suddenly, “Simply the Best” by Tina Turner plays as a hot pink light surrounds the arena. Benny Starr, James Bohne, Christine Marsh and, on crutches, David Calaz all walk out. They walk down the ramp and James and Christine slide under the bottom rope, ascending the turnbuckles to a herd of boos.
LEGEND: Well, we’re being joined by Better Than Sex, who I can only imagine are a little upset over their loss at War Zone.
STRACHON: It was an outrage, Legend. Knox STOLE the win.
Benny leaps onto the apron and Calaz slowly hobbles up the ring steps. He holds the middle rope open for Benny, who gets into the ring and raises his arms. James and Christine get out of the corners as Benny is handed a microphone.
LEGEND: Now, you gotta a...
STRACHON: Quiet, Legend.
STARR: Now for those of you who don’t know who I am, allow me to introduce myself. I put the “S”, the “E” and the “X” in “Suplex”. I put the “Super” in “Superplex” and I put the “Body” in “Bodyslam” when I flex. I am “Super” Benny Starr.
LEGEND: The former Iron Man Champion.
STARR: Now, I’ve come out here to talk about what happened at War Zone. For those who weren’t watching, Team Briggs was SCREWED out of the match. Those weird vampire guys stole the US Tag belts from James and Christine.
LEGEND: They did no such thing.
STRACHON: Are you calling Benny a liar, Legend?
LEGEND: Yes...
STARR: But more importantly, the bird kept me from gaining the UK championship.
STRACHON: Outrageous.
STARR: Y’know the guy. Michael something... Anywhizzle, his name is besides the point. It’s what he’s in possession of. Joe Stall, after you cheated to beat us, the least that you could do is grant me a match against ...him.
“Numb” by Linkin Park plays and Joe Stall enters the arena. He looks around at the cheering crowd for a while before speaking.
LEGEND: Well, let’s see what the Commissioner has to say.
STALL: Now, at War Zone, the FORMER Director of Authority, Mark Briggs, was put out a the job. It gave me great pleasure in doing that.
STRACHON: That’s sickening.
LEGEND: You’d be saying the opposite if Briggs came out here saying this about Joe.
STALL: But not nearly as much pleasure as what I’m about to do. As you’re all aware, tonight marks the first night of the Jealousy tournament. This week on Live-Wire, we will have the final four matches of the first round. Now one of those first round matches will be... James Bohne...
STRACHON: Yes! James is in the tournament.
Joe Stall: ...versus...
STRACHON: badday? DWI?
Joe Stall: Christine Marsh!
STRACHON: WHAT!
LEGEND: What an announcement. Boyfriend versus girlfriend.
STRACHON: He can’t do that!
LEGEND: Oh, he can. He’s in full control of FWF.
The BTS members begin to stomp around the ring as the crowd begin to laugh. Calaz tries to hold in the laughter. Suddenly, the titantron screen shows Chris Sharp wearing a great suit with a blue shirt and thick, gold medallion.
SHARP: Hold on a minute!
STRACHON: What the...? God?
LEGEND: No, Sam, it’s the complete opposite... Chris Sharp.
SHARP: Joe, Joe, Joe... congratulations on your War Zone win, but, erm... in case you aren’t aware, Mike Farrell drove this company into the ground... so much, that he had to sell it.
LEGEND: And what a person to sell it to: the former owner of Sharp Shooter Wrestling.
SHARP: For those of you who are unfamiliar with me and SSW, then allow me to introduce myself. I am Chris Sharp... the new Chairman of Fantasy Wrestling Federation.
STRACHON: I’m sure he’ll do a better job than that blubbering idiot Farrell could ever do.
LEGEND: Show some respect, Sam. Mike is the founder of FWF. It wouldn’t be the same without him.
STRACHON: PWE! PWE! PWE!
LEGEND: What?
STRACHON: Nothing.
SHARP: So, with me here, your services are no longer required Joe. So go back to writing your stupid CJS report, but you’re no longer the Commissioner here.
STALL: Now you...
SHARP: Cut his mic!
As Joe tries to defend himself, his microphone is cut off. He looks around at the booing crowd. Dejectedly, he has no option, but to walk backstage.
LEGEND: I can’t believe it. No more Joe.
SHARP: Mr. Starr... long time, no see.
STARR: It’s great to see you again, Mr. Sharp.
SHARP: I was watching War Zone, Benny, and I agree, you were screwed out of that match. So, I’m going to make my first match on FWF television. Tonight, in the main event in the first round of the Jealousy tournament, it will be “Super” Benny Starr versus Matthew “The Raven” Knox.
LEGEND: What an announcement.
SHARP: For the United Kingdom Championship!
STRACHON: YES!
LEGEND: Huge match-up tonight in our main event.
STRACHON: I can’t wait. Not only will Benny be going to the pay-per-view, but he’ll also be the UK champ. That’s killing two birds with one stone... mind the pun.
LEGEND: I wouldn’t be so sure, Sam. Only time will tell.
STRACHON: I can’t wait.
LEGEND: We’re gonna have to take a short break, but don’t go anywhere. We’ll be right back.

LEGEND: And we are back here on Monday Night Rampage. Shall we get to some action?
STRACHON: We shall.
LEGEND: Over to Phil Charles for the announcements.
CHARLES: The following match scheduled is a twenty minute Iron Man match and is a round one Jealousy tournament match for the Fantasy Wrestling Federation Iron Man Championship. Introducing first...
The camera zooms in on the titantron, as the top half glows in green and the bottom in yellow, playing his entrance video, with many people experiencing the Sharpeknife first hand. After about 15 seconds, the camera slowly zooms out, and the lighting goes crazy, and strobes in silver and blood red. Sharpe makes his way out, and the crowd goes insane as he flies around the stage, pumped up. He makes his way down the ramp, pointing at himself. He then slides in the ring, and the lighting will change to a strobe of all kinds of colours: blue, red, green, yellow, etc.
CHARLES: ...now residing in New York City, New York ...weighing in at 248 pounds ...Jordan Sharpe!
“Black Sheep” by Saliva plays. With the crowd cheering, King of Kings enters the arena. He stands on stage holding his title in the air before walking down the ramp. He walks up the ring steps and climbs through the ropes.
CHARLES: And his opponent ...from Derby, England ...he is the FWF Iron Man Champion ...King of Kings!
The bell sounds and the two lock up. After a moment, KOK manages to overpower Sharpe into the turnbuckle. ...1 ...2 ...3 ...4. King breaks the hold. The two circle the ring again before locking up. King takes Jordan into the corner again. ...1 ...2 ...3 ...4. He breaks the hold once more.
LEGEND: Two clean breaks from the Iron Man champion.
Once more, the two Warriors tie up. As King is taking Sharpe over to the corner, at the last second, Sharpe turns around and pushes King against the turnbuckle. The referee counts. ...1 ...2 ...3 ...4. Sharpe breaks, but then hits King with a right hand.
STRACHON: Lovely clean break.
LEGEND: Clean? Cheap, more like.
King then grabs Sharpe and throws him into the corner. He then begins to unleash a range of rights and lefts to the body of Sharpe. He Irish-whips Jordan into the opposite corner before charging at him with a Stinger Splash.
LEGEND: I don’t think King was happy about that lack of respect.
Sharpe stumbles out of the corner at one side of the ring. At which point, King bounces off the ropes. He then comes back with a high knee, knocking Sharpe over the top rope and to the outside of the ring.
LEGEND: Beautiful high knee! And this crowd are loving it.
STRACHON: This crowd are moronic. Sharpe’s the hometown hero!
LEGEND: He’s from Canada!
Sharpe looks under the apron. He then picks up his graphitised four by four. King leans out of the ring and grabs Sharpe by the head, but Sharpe hits King in the head with the four by four, forcing him to fall back.
STRACHON: Right in the head!
LEGEND: I don’t think he knows what he’s doing. He’s just lost a point by DQ.
Sharpe drops the wood and quickly slides into the ring. He then grabs King in a full nelson before nailing the Sharpeknife. He covers. ...1 ...2 ...3.
STRACHON: Brilliant! Now they’re even, and King’s more damaged due to the 4x4.
LEGEND: As clever as it was, there’s just no respect.
STRACHON: Who cares? As long as he gets the win, he’ll get respect.
As King is getting up, Sharpe bounces off the ropes. He then comes back behind King and jumps over, hitting the Throw Back. King begins to get to his feet and Sharpe lifts him into the powerslam position. He then nails the Sehx Slam.
LEGEND: Sehx Slam by Sharpe. Maybe it was named at War Zone 5 where Sharpe was made an honorary Better than Sex member.
STRACHON: The same night King screwed Sharpe out of the Iron Man title.
Sharpe covers. ...1 ...2. King kicks out. Sharpe picks King up and knees him in the stomach. He then hits an uppercut, knocking KOK back into the corner. Sharpe grabs King and goes to Irish-whip him into the opposite corner, but King counters and sends Sharpe into the turnbuckle.
LEGEND: King of Kings is trying to make a comeback as we approach the halfway mark.
Sharpe stumbles out of the corner. He goes for a right hand, but King ducks, grabbing him as he does. He then nails the Rock Bottom. He covers. ...1 ...2. Sharpe kicks out.
LEGEND: Couldn’t quite get it.
King begins to get fired up. Sharpe slowly gets up and KOK grabs him, hooking both of his arms. He is about to hit the Pedigree, but Sharpe sweeps his legs and rolls over on top of him, hooking the legs. ...1 ...2 ...3.
LEGEND: Sharpe has had an impressive career in the EWC, picking up many titles there.
STRACHON: And now he’s come here, to FWF, in search of more gold.
LEGEND: But there’s one man in his way; the same many that prevented him at War Zone: the King of Kings.
STRACHON: Move aside, King, it’s two-nil to Sharpe.
The two men get up and KOK begins to square up to Sharpe. They lock eyes in the middle of the ring until Sharpe hits King with a right hand. King returns it. The two frantically begin to exchange shots to the face.
STRACHON: This isn’t a wrestling match, Legend. This is a fight.
Sharpe goes for a right hand again, but this time, King ducks, grabbing Jordan as he does. King then nails the Side Effect.
LEGEND: Beautiful Side Effect by the Iron Man champion.
King signals for the Pedigree again and as Sharpe slowly gets to his feet, King kicks him in the stomach before hooking both of his arms. Before King has chance to hit the move, Sharpe rams King against the turnbuckle, forcing him to break the hold.
STRACHON: It wasn’t fancy, but it was effective.
Whilst in the corner, Sharpe begins to knee King in the gut a few times. He then grabs him in a front face lock, applying the 5UN5H!NE. He brings King to the centre of the ring and applies more pressure.
STRACHON: Do yourself a favour, King... just tap out.
As King is slowly fading, the crowd begin to clap, slowly. King begins to get fired up as Sharpe tightens the hold. The crowd’s clapping becomes faster and more intense. In a moment of power, King is able to counter the move, lifting Sharpe up into a Vertical Suplex position. After a moment, he falls back, hitting the move.
LEGEND: Beautiful suplex, but you’ve gotta ask yourself: was that move out of desperation?
STRACHON: Of course it was, Legend. Sharpe’s destroyed him in this match.
With both men down, the referee begins to count. ...1 ...2 ...3 ...4. Both Warriors begin to move, trying to get up. ...5 ...6 ...7 ...8. Sharpe gets to his feet, with King not far behind him. Sharpe quickly goes for the BFPT, but King ducks and bounces off the ropes. Sharpe turns around and King comes back with a High Knee.
LEGEND: Here we go!
Sharpe gets up again and King Irish-whips him into the turnbuckle. He then charges at him, hitting a Stinger Splash. Sharpe stumbles out of the corner, running towards King, but KOK lifts him into the air and slams him to the mat with a Spinebuster.
LEGEND: Spinebuster! I think King’s going for it for a third time, Sam.
A “King of Kings” chant begins and Sharpe slowly gets up. At which point, King kicks him in the stomach and hooks his arms. He smiles as he looks out at the fans. He then nails the Pedigree. He covers. ...1 ...2 ...3.
LEGEND: He got it! Two-all, Sam.
STRACHON: They both better act fast if they’re thinking of getting another fall, there’s only one minute left.
Noticing the timer nearing its end, King quickly picks Sharpe up. He then lifts him up and places him on the top turnbuckle. He is about to set him up for the Punisher, but Sharpe hits him with a couple of right hands, knocking him back. Sharpe goes for a flying clothesline, but King ducks.
LEGEND: Both men are frantically trying to get the fall.
King hooks Sharpe for the Rock Bottom, but Sharpe elbows King in the side of the head. Sharpe then quickly ascends to the top rope, but King knocks him down into a sitting position. King then hooks his head. King then nails the Punisher. ...1 ...2 ...3. The time runs out.
CHARLES: The winner of the match ...and still FWF Iron Man Champion ...King of Kings!
STRACHON: No!
LEGEND: The King retained his gold. Sharpe has failed to knock him off his thrown.
STRACHON: It doesn’t matter, Legend. Benny Starr’ll beat Matt Knox tonight, and that’s all that matters.
LEGEND: What a great match in the early moments of Rampage.
STRACHON: But things are fare from over. We still have three more round one Jealousy tournament matches.
LEGEND: Including our main event for the UK title. All this and more... when we return.

LEGEND: Welcome back to MNR.
STRACHON: Legend, we are live from Madison Square Garden.
LEGEND: Absolutely; the host of Genesis II, III and IV.
STRACHON: And the host of this next match.
CHARLES: The following is a round one Jealousy tournament match scheduled for one fall. Introducing first...
Rain is heard over the arena and purple lights start to flicker and then the hole arena sets into a dim purple and then Lose my Breath slowly starts up and purple lights laser shoot a cross the arena and white and purple pyros go of at the side of the stage as the music really starts up and Evie appears from the back as Sprit Fire come walking up behind her and walk near enough bounds down the ramp as a mixture of purple and white pryro goes of behind Evie and Sprit as they move towards the ring the fan having a mixed reaction to Evie as she hits the ring they both stand and wait for her opponent.
CHARLES: …accompanied to the ring by Sprit Fire ...from Nottingham, England ...Evie Jones!
“Pull Harder on the Strings” by Trivium plays. After a moment, the Fizz enters the arena. With the crowd erupting into a series of cheers, she begins to walk down the ramp, slapping the hands of fans before getting into the ring.
CHARLES: And her opponent ...from London, England ...the Fizz!
The bell sounds and the two go to lock up, but Evie kicks Fizz in the stomach. She then Irish-whips her into the turnbuckle. She charges at Fizz and goes for a monkey flip, but Fizz lands on her feet.
LEGEND: Great athleticism by the former women’s champion.
Evie quickly gets up, but Fizz knocks her down with a clothesline. Evie gets up again, only to receive another clothesline. With Evie on the ground, Fizz bounces off the ropes, but from the outside, Sprit trips her up.
STRACHON: That’s why having your sister at ringside is good.
Fizz slowly gets up, holding her face and as she approaches Evie, Evie lifts her into the air and slams her to the mat with a spinebuster. She goes for the cover. …1 …2. Fizz kicks out.
LEGEND: It’ll take more than that to keep the Fizz down.
Evie picks Fizz up and sends her into the turnbuckle. She runs at her and this time, she manages to execute the Monkey Flip. Evie begins to head for the top rope, but as she does, Fizz gets up and ascends the same turnbuckle. On the top, the two begin to exchange right hands.
LEGEND: This really could go either way.
Sprit gets on the apron and Fizz hits Evie with a right hand, almost knocking her out. She then gets off the apron and grabs Sprit by the hair. Sprit grabs Fizz and hangs her neck on the top rope, forcing Fizz to collapse to the mat. At which point, Evie nails the High Royal. She covers. …1 …2 …3.
CHARLES: The winner of the match and advancing into Round 2 of the Jealousy tournament …Evie Jones!
The three women make their way backstage. Suddenly, “Welcome to the Jungle” by Guns N’ Roses plays.
STRACHON: WHAT!?
LEGEND: FantasyWrestling.2ya.com recently announced that Pain would be inducted into the Hall of Fame at Jealousy 5, but is he here tonight in his hometown of New York?
A motorcycle engine noise is heard and after a moment, Pain comes riding out on his bike. He parks the bike on stage and gets off, holding a microphone.
CHARLES: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome ...from New York City, New York ...Pain!
LEGEND: What a pleasant surprise.
PAIN: Now, I take it you’ve heard the good news about Jealousy 5. When I received the phone call, I was ecstatic. But I’m not here to talk about the Hall of Fame... I’m here to see you, Madison Square Gardens!
With that, the crowd explode into a series of cheers. A “Pain” chant begins as Pain stands there with a smile on his face.
PAIN: Now, a few days ago was the fourth of July, also known as Independence Day. And it got my thinking about how proud I am to be an American.
LEGEND: Here, here.
STRACHON: Eww...
PAIN: This country has gone through so much and now, the biggest thing that could happen to it has happened. FWF tours it regularly. But without America, FWF would be nothing. Whilst originally a British company, the Americans brought it from its knees and up to success, much like we did in the war.
STRACHON: Sigh...
PAIN: And now FWF is at the top and I’m going to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, but I’ve only gotten there because of America.
STRACHON: He’s not going to sing, is he?
PAIN: You people are the stars and you people are the stripes of this flag we call the United States of America. Thank you for making me what I am and thank you for making FWF what it is. Thank you, America!
Pain drops the microphone as a “USA” chant begins. He smiles as he gets back on his motorbike. He then begins to rev up his engine, getting the crowd fired up as the scene fades to a commercial break.

LEGEND: And we are back on Rampage.
STRACHON: FWF is back with a bang. What a show it has been so far.
LEGEND: And things are far from over. Still to come, Sah’ta Thor faces Thunder.
STRACHON: And “Super” Benny Starr will take away Knox’s UK title.
LEGEND: And that’s just tonight. Tune into Live-Wire on Thursday with Ernest Bethea and TB, Tom Briggs as the Jealousy Tournament continues.
STRACHON: “The” Ross Walker returns... Anthony Douglas returns.
LEGEND: And we found out earlier in the show, by orders of the former Commissioner, Joe Stall, James Bohne will face his girlfriend and tag team partner, Christine Marsh.
STRACHON: And for the first time in almost a year, the World Heavyweight Championship is on the line on Live-Wire as The Predator defends against Prozac.
LEGEND: And speaking of the Predator, he joins Chris Knite backstage.
KNITE: Thank you, Legend. Ladies and gentlemen, I am “The Saviour” Chris Knite. My guest at this time is the World Heavyweight Champion, The Predator.
Backstage shows Chris Knite attired in a pair of grey jeans, a black, FWF t-shirt and a black and silver hoodie, zipped up half way. The camera zooms out to show the Predator wearing blue jeans and a plain black, long-sleeved shirt. Over his shoulder is the World title.
KNITE: Predator, a couple of months ago at FWF War Zone 5, you made your second defence of that belt when you defeated Couch Potato and Prozac...
PREDATOR: Yes I did, Knite.
KNITE: Beating a waster and a stoner? You must be impressed with yourself.
PREDATOR: You can call them what you want, but you know what I call them? I call them former World champions in FWF, which is more than what I can say for you. So for me to beat two former world champions is something for me to be proud of.
KNITE: This coming week on Live-Wire, you’ll put that title on the line against Prozac. How do you feel about that?
PREDATOR: I beat him once when there were two guys after me, I’m sure I can handle him on my own. The way I see it is simple. Prozac had the title... Don Lepore beat him for it... Couch Potato beat him for it... and I beat him for it, ergo... I’ve already beaten Prozac.
KNITE: Not only is this a match for your belt, but it’s also the first round match of the Jealousy tournament. How do you feel about that?
PREDATOR: I’ve won Jealousy before and it was an amazing feeling, but this year, the prize is the FWF Lost Heroes trophy. Now, let me tell you what the Lost Heroes were about. We were about restoring FWF to its former glory and driving the respect into every Warrior here in Fantasy Wrestling Federation. How fitting would it be if an original Lost Hero was to win?
The scene switches back into the arena where Sah’ta Thor and Thunder are stood in the ring waiting for their match to begin.
CHARLES: The following round one Jealousy tournament match scheduled is for one fall. Introducing first ...Sah’ta Thor!
The referee is about to sound for the bell, but Thor stops him. He then asks to be handed a microphone and is. Thunder looks on in confusion.
LEGEND: Well, it looks as though the Immortal one has something to say.
THOR: So here we are at Madison Square Gardens. This place had given us so many memories, but what it is most profound for is the place where new eras begin.
STRACHON: Look at the face of Thor, Legend.
LEGEND: So much intensity.
THOR: And that’s exactly what’s going to happen tonight. This night marks the beginning of a new era. The old inspiration sparks new innovation. I’ll admit, my career has been going down since I lost the US Tag Team titles last year, but tonight is where it changes.
LEGEND: Hmm...
THOR: I am the epitome of a Lost Hero and when I win the Jealousy tournament, I will be found. Thunder, this year envy is for the weak, but I promise you... you will still turn green with envy.
Suddenly, Thor hits Thunder over the head with the microphone. He then orders the referee to ring the bell. Reluctantly, the referee does so.
LEGEND: Well, there’s the bell and Thunder is down.
Thor begins to slowly wind up his arm. Thunder slowly turns over and begins to get up. As he reaches his feet, Thor bounces off the ropes. He goes for the High Impact Clothesline, but Thunder ducks. Thor turns around and Thunder kicks him in the stomach.
LEGEND: He ducked it, Sam!
Thunder hooks Thor’s head and takes him over with a suplex. Keeping hold, he lifts Thor to his feet. He hits a second suplex. He picks Thor up again and nails another suplex.
STRACHON: 3 Amigos!
Thunder slowly begins to head to the top rope. He leaps off, going for the five star frog splash, but Thor rolls out of the way. Thunder gets up and from out of nowhere, Thor nails the High Impact Clothesline.
STRACHON: He hit it that time!
Thor smiles, heavily as he covers Thunder. ...1 ...2 ...3.
CHARLES: The winner of the match and advancing into round two ...Sah’ta Thor!
LEGEND: Thor is the third person to go through tonight.
STRACHON: But there is still one more to reach round 2 on MNR.
LEGEND: Will it be “Super” Benny Starr or Matthew “The Raven” Knox.
STRACHON: Benny.
LEGEND: We’ll find out ...when we return!

LEGEND: Welcome back to Monday Night Rampage.
STRACHON: My watch has broken, but I can still tell the time, Legend.
LEGEND: What time is it?
STRACHON: It is now time ...for the MAAAAAAAAAAAIN EVENT!
CHARLES: The following round one Jealousy tournament match is to be contested under British rules and is for the Fantasy Wrestling Federation United Kingdom Championship, to be wrestled over a duration of six 5 minute round; two falls, two submissions or a knockout to decide the winner. Introducing first...
A hot pink light surrounds the arena as “Simply the Best” by Tina Turner plays. After a moment, Benny struts out with a white light flashing. Hobbling behind him is Calaz. Benny strolls down the ramp and Calaz hops up the ring steps. Calaz then holds the ropes open for Benny, who leaps onto the apron and climbs into the ring where he spins on one leg until finally stopping and throwing his fist into the air as the crowd boo.
CHARLES: ...from Hollywood, the Capital of the World ...weighing in at 241 pounds ...“Super” Benny Starr!
The lights go out, as Black Sabbath's "Children of the Grave" begins. As the music begins, the lights slowly come down to a dim blue, a fog begins to surround the entrance, the fans scream in anticipation, knowing who is coming. As the main riff screams forth, Matthew steps out in the fog, wearing his trademark trench coat, he stares down at the ring, and his opponent, then slowly begins his ascent of the ramp, he then enters the ring, and derobes himself of the coat. He turns then, and throws his fists up, playing the crowd like a professional. He then picks a corner, and leans into it, waiting for the bell to sound.

The two men stare down in the middle of the ring. Referee Mike Watts separated the two and sends them into opposite corners. He then proceeds to check each Warrior for weapons, but finds none.
LEGEND: Maximum of thirty minutes for this match.
CHARLES: Seconds away, round 1!
The bell sounds and both men jump from their corners and begin to circle the ring. They lock up and Benny immediately takes Knox’s arm before getting him into a wristlock. Knox quickly spins under and wraps Benny’s arm behind his back into a hammerlock.
LEGEND: Both men appear to be taking a technical approach to this match.
From this position, Starr is able to trip Knox and take him down with a reverse drop-toe-hold. He then quickly jumps over Knox and applies a front face lock. Slowly bringing Knox to his feet, Benny hits a snap suplex and covers. ...1. Knox kicks out and Benny goes back to the front face lock.
LEGEND: I wouldn’t’ve classed these two as technical wrestlers, Sam, but they seem to be going hold for hold.
STRACHON: That’s because this is a British Rules match. Knox is the UK champ and as much as I don’t like that, he’s representing us and our wrestling.
LEGEND: So, it’s a tribute.
STRACHON: Absolutely. It’s a tribute to the Dynamite Kid, Dan “Dragon” Taylor, The British Bulldog, etc.
LEGEND: What about Benny?
STRACHON: He’s just awesome.
Benny lifts Knox up to his feet and quickly changes arm position, getting Knox in a headlock. Knox begins to elbow his way out of it. He pushes Benny into the ropes who comes back with a hard shoulder tackle. From here, Benny quickly taunts the crowd, and on one leg, spins around before stopping and shooting his fist into the air.
LEGEND: Mr. Hollywood showing off, as per usual.
Benny bounces off the ropes as Knox quickly gets up. Matt leapfrogs over Benny, who continues to run. When he bounces back, Knox nails a Roundhouse kick. Benny gets up and charges at Knox who grabs him in a reverse waistlock. He then nails a Belly to Belly suplex.
LEGEND: Looks like they’ve avoided the technical wrestling.
Benny gets up again and Knox kicks him in the stomach. Matt then nails the Defeathering of an Era. The bell sounds. Benny retreats, crawling over to his corner where Calaz hands him a bottle of water.
LEGEND: Well, no falls in the first round.
CHARLES: Seconds away, round 2.
The bell sounds. The two men go to lock up, but Benny kicks Knox in the stomach. He then quickly takes him over with a neckbreaker.
LEGEND: Cheap move.
STRACHON: It was perfectly legal.
Now in control, Benny takes a moment to catch his breath. ...1 ...2 ...3 ...4. As Knox is getting up, Benny stomps him. He then bounces off the ropes and comes back with a leg drop into the cover. ...1 ...2. Knox kicks out. Benny picks Knox up and Irish-whips him into the corner.
STRACHON: Look at Benny. He’s just dissecting his opponent.
He charges at Knox, going for the Starr Splash, but Knox moves out of the way and rolls Benny up with a schoolboy pin. ...1 ...2 ...3. Benny gets up and argues with the referee in disbelief.
LEGEND: Benny can’t believe it.
STRACHON: And neither can I. What match were you watching, Mike?
CHARLES: After two minutes into round 2, the first fall goes to Matthew Know!
LEGEND: And there we have it; the first of two required pinfalls.
CHARLES: Seconds away, round 3.
The bell sounds and straight away, Benny foes for a right hand, but Knox blocks it. Knox then nails a straight Karate punch, knocking Benny down. ...1 ...2 ...3 ...4. Benny gets to his feet and Knox grabs him.
LEGEND: We’re now seeing that Martial Arts style that the Raven incorporates.
Knox Irish-whips Starr hard into the corner. He stumbles out and Knox kicks him in the stomach before hooking both of his arms. Matt then nails a Tiger Suplex and goes for the cover. ...1 ...2. Benny kicks out. Knox picks him up again and hooks his head.
LEGEND: A nice Tiger Suplex, but it wasn’t enough.
Knox goes for the Twist of Fate, but as he turns to face away from Starr, Starr is able to counter the move, taking Knox down with a Russian Legsweep.
STRACHON: Beautiful counter!
As Knox gets up, Benny grabs him from behind in a full nelson. Knox tries to fight is way out of it. He breaks Benny’s hands apart and slowly attempts to circle behind Starr, but as he does, Benny quickly grabs Knox’s arm and takes him down to the mat.
STRACHON: Fuji-Starr-a Armbar!
Before he is able to lock the move in, Knox rolls out of it. Benny charges at him for a lariat, but Knox ducks and hooks Benny in a Tazmission position. He then nails the Straight to Hell, going straight into the JTO.
LEGEND: JTO! Matthew’s way of telling his opponents to just tap out!
STRACHON: He won’t tap. He’s “Super” Benny Starr... the extra “R” is for “Resilient”.
Benny taps.
STRACHON: Gah.
CHARLES: After four minutes and two seconds of round 3, the first submission goes to Matthew “The Raven” Knox!
STRACHON: Outrageous!
LEGEND: Knox now has one pinfall and one submission. If he can do either of those again, he retains his title.
Starr retreats to his corner and Calaz wipes the sweat off of his forehead with a towel. He then begins to massage his shoulders as Benny catches his breath.
CHARLES: Seconds away, round 4!
The bell sounds and immediately, Starr takes Knox down with a lariat. The referee begins to count Knox down. ...1 ...2 ...3 ...4 ...5. In a fit of rage, Starr moves the referee out of the way. He then begins to stomp away at Knox.
LEGEND: He’s lost it, Sam!
Mike Watts continues to warn Starr, but Benny continues stomping. He then climbs to the second rope and jumps off with a second rope fist drop. he referee then rushes to Phil Charles and whispers something into his ear.
CHARLES: Ladies and gentlemen, “Super” Benny Starr has received his first public warning!
STRACHON: WHAT!?
LEGEND: It’s British Rules, Sam. These matches are built on respect and Benny clearly has none.
As Knox gets up, Benny hooks his head from behind in an inverted face lock. He then raises Knox into the air in an inverted suplex manner, but Knox lands on his feet, hooking Starr’s head in the same way. He then nails an inverted DDT.
LEGEND: Knox has a pinfall, a submission and now Benny has a public warning. One more could lead to a disqualification.
As Benny is getting up, Knox nails the Defeathering of an Era again. He is about to go for the cover, but Calaz gets on the apron. Knox charges at him, knocking him off. The referee begins to check on Calaz. With the distraction, Mark Briggs enters through the crowd. He picks up the UK title and enters the ring. Knox turns around and Briggs hits Knox over the head with the belt.
LEGEND: What the...? That’s Mark Briggs, the former Director of Authority!
STRACHON: And he’s come to get his revenge on the man that lost him his job.
Knox is slowly getting up and with the referee still turned, Benny connects with the Super Strike as Briggs gets out of the ring. Watts turns around and begins to count. ...1 ...2 ...3 ...4 ...5 ...6 ...7 ...8 ...9 ...10.
CHARLES: The winner of the match with the one knockout required ...and new FWF United Kingdom Champion ...”Super” Benny Starr!
LEGEND: Knox was screwed!
STRACHON: Payback has something in common with my ex-wife, Legend. They’re both bitches.
Briggs gets into the ring, handing Starr his title. Starr leans back in the corner staring at it. He then moves in the middle of the ring and Briggs raises his arm into the air. The crowd boo as the scene cuts to black.
