LEGEND: Welcome to Monday Night Rampage. I’m Johnny Legend.
BRIGGS: And I’m Tom Briggs.
LEGEND: Tonight... three men... three matches... one ring... the first ever Round Robin Challenge.
BRIGGS: Absolutely. Strange things have been happening on MNR for the past few weeks involving Prozac, Trent Brown and the UK champion, Couch Potato.
LEGEND: And how will Jackson feel about this?
BRIGGS: Just two weeks ago, he took out all three of those men.
LEGEND: And just last week, Joe Stall asked him to explain his actions and he said “just watch Jealousy”.
BRIGGS: We have round two of the Round Robin Challenge coming up right now.
Live Until I Die hit’s the PA as Trent Brown comes through the curtain holding hands with his wife, Katherine. As they both make their way down the entrance ramp, Trent slaps hands with the crowd using his free hand, before finally reaching the ring. As Katherine waits at ringside, Trent walks up the steel steps and begins posing on all four turnbuckles.
CHARLES: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following is round number two of the Round Robin Competition. Introducing first ...from Sedila, Missouri, accompanied by Katherine Brown …Trent Brown!
The lights then go pretty dim as Fight Like This hits the PA. A spotlight shines down to the middle of the stage, and after a few seconds Prozac walks out and stands in the light. He waits there for a few seconds and looks all over the crowd then stares at the ring. He raises one hand and beats on his chest with the other hand as the lights turn back on to normal. He then starts walking towards the ring, and slides in once he reaches it. He then begins to pose on two opposite turnbuckles, where he gets on the 2nd rope raises one arm and beats his chest with the other one.
CHARLES: And his opponent ...from Cornwall, New York …Prozac!
BRIGGS: I can’t wait to see who will win Couch Potato’s Jamaican Championship.
LEGEND: Will you stop calling it that, already?
BRIGGS: Why should I? You called it the United States Championship when James Bohne held it.
LEGEND: Well Couch Potato probably isn’t even Jamaican, where James was actually from the United States.
The referee motions for the bell, as Prozac and Trent focus on each other’s every movement. They both make their way to the center of the ring, and lock up for a test of strength. The two are evenly matched for some time, but eventually Trent gets the upper hand and sends Prozac to the turnbuckle.
BRIGGS: Trent able to overpower Prozac.
LEGEND: This is one man Prozac can’t force-feed himself to.
BRIGGS: Your med jokes suck.
Trent places his feet on the second rope, and begins punching Prozac in the head repeatedly. After the tenth punch, Trent places his knees on Prozac’s chest, and grabs his head. Trent then falls backwards, launching Prozac across the ring as Trent kicks his legs up. Trent then goes for a quick cover, but Prozac kicks out before a one count.
LEGEND: Trent is showing incredible athleticism in this matchup.
BRIGGS: Of course he is, everybody wants to be representative of the Jamaican Heavyweight Championship.
Trent goes to Prozac, and lifts him up, only to have Prozac poke him in the eyes. Trent stumbles backwards, putting pressure on his eye with both hands, as Prozac runs at him and hits a dropkick to Trent’s chest causing him to fall on his back. Prozac then gets on Trent and begins choking him. The referee tells Prozac to get off of him, who refuses to listen.
LEGEND: Prozac’s going to get himself disqualified!
BRIGGS: I doubt he’s that stupid. Although...
The referee begins counting. ...1 ...2 ...3. Prozac lifts Trent’s head, and slams it hard against the ground. Prozac then gets to his feet and begins stomping at Trent. Prozac then backs off for a few seconds, and goes against the ropes. He then jumps on the ropes and leaps off, attempting a springboard elbow. As Prozac is coming down Trent barely rolls out of the way, causing Prozac to slam his elbow into the mat.
LEGEND: That looked excruciatingly painful.
BRIGGS: Of course it did, his bare elbow was just forced into the mat underneath all his body weight.
Both men are lying on the ground, attempting to get to their feet. Trent crawls to the ropes, as Prozac does the same on the opposing side of the ring. Both men get to their feet at about the same time, and charge at each other both attempting a clothesline. Trent at the last second ducks, causing Prozac to miss his clothesline. Trent quickly turns around, and grabs hold of Prozac‘s back, and pulls him backwards hitting a modified backbreaker. Trent then goes for the cover. ...1 ...2. Prozac kicks out.
LEGEND: A close call, with Trent Brown once again in control.
BRIGGS: I wonder who wears the pants in his family. I’m betting you don’t hear Trent and control in the same sentence very often.
Trent then goes to Prozac and puts him in an armbar. Prozac tries to fight off Trent, but he is unable to right away. After about a fifteen seconds struggle, Prozac is able to grab the bottom rope, and the referee forces Trent off of Prozac.
BRIGGS: I don't know who I want to lose more.
Trent gets up, and sets up for the RKO, awaiting Prozac to stand up. Prozac eventually gets to his feet, with his back facing Trent, who goes for the RKO once Prozac turns around. Prozac sees Trent coming, and is able to push him off.
BRIGGS: Trent just missed the RKO! We almost saw the end of this match.
LEGEND: Prozac was not about to let that happen, there’s too much at stake here.
Trent goes for a clothesline, bur Prozac ducks. Prozac then executes the cheer up. He goes for the cover. ...1 ...2 ...3.
CHARLES: The winner of the match ...Prozac!
LEGEND: Prozac wins the first match, but who will win the second?
BRIGGS: And who will win between Ross Walker and Oswald Brodd?
LEGEND: We'll find that out in just a moment.
BRIGGS: And I’m Tom Briggs.
