Member Since: May 2005 Date Inducted: June 26th 2008 Title History:- - FWF World Championship - FWF World Heavyweight Championship (x4) - FWF Tag Team Championship - FWF Cruiserweight Championship - FWF Hardcore Championship (x4) - UCW Intercontinental Championship (x2) - UCW Tag Team Championship (x2) - Blizzard Winner (x2) - Jealousy Tournament Winner Very few people can say that they’ve been in the main event of Genesis. Pain, however, will tell you that he’s been in the main event of four.
Like many before him as a true working class hero, Pain began his career at the bottom. He picked up numerous Hardcore championship reigns as well as lifting up the now defunct FWF Cruiserweight Championship.
Pain aligned himself with two FWF legends, Ernest “The Beast” Bethea and “Captain” Joe Stall as part of the Real Deal. With guidance from the two former World champions, Pain shot to success. He was entered into a new concept at FWF Blizzard 2005.
During the match, former World champion “Dark” Mark Lloyd dominated the match, finding himself standing in the ring on his own. That was until the last entrant made an appearance: Pain.
Pain took to the seven foot monster with huge force, doing what nobody thought he could do. He eliminated the big man, earning himself a shot to main event Genesis for the first time.
His mentoring paid off as he was now prepared for the biggest match of his life. After Dan “Dragon” Taylor signed Pain’s contract to face the Predator, the match was made a triple threat. Dan Taylor came out with the victory and the underdog was said not to be ready for a reign.
Few months past and Dan Taylor was set to defend his belt in the first ever Elimination Chamber. After a gruelling contest, Pain proved to the world that he was finally ready, outlasting the other five Warriors to win the FWF World Heavyweight Championship for the first time.
What Pain failed to realise is that once on top, it’s a long way to fall. Pain was released from FWF and was forced to vacate the title. Not long after and a masked man returned to FWF, targeting Pain’s former friend and tag team partner, Camisado under the name Insomniac.
Insomniac and Camisado finally faced off at FWF Hotter than Hell. After beating Camisado to near death, Insomniac removed his mask, revealing himself to be Pain, back to Fantasy Wrestling Federation.
Since then, Pain has stayed in the main event position, feuding with such established Warriors as “The” Ross Walker and King of Kings. He also enjoyed success in a huge feud against Wild Bill Legend. After an encounter in the Collision match that year, the two began one of FWF’s biggest rivalries.
Both men were entered into the Blizzard match that year, with Pain’s intent to win two in a row. However, he may have made it to the last two, but so did WBL. With cheap tactics, WBL won the Blizzard match, putting him in the main event at Blizzard. But there was a problem.
The world title was currently vacated and WBL had nobody to face. Then owner, Mike Farrell announced Pain as his opponent and WBL was in trouble. At Genesis IV, the two battled it out until Pain defeated his nemesis once and for all.
He then found his toughest opponent, yet. Two years after Pain cemented himself in history, he was set to defend his title against the Predator at FWF Blizzard 2007.
The two fought long and hard and Pain eventually won the match. However, due to Predator’s efforts, a rematch was made. At Genesis 5, they stepped into the ring again. A hard match found Predator the victor from a rivalry built on respect. Pain had no problem stepping aside for one of his close friends and stood for a cheering crowd.
The new era of FWF began in 2009 with the annual Jealousy tournament: something that Pain has never won before. As the only Hall of Fame member on the current roster, Pain stormed through the rounds, defeating Evie Jones in the final to win the tournament and lift the first ever FWF World Championship; a belt that he would defend hold for many months.
Pain would eventually face new comer Christian Lee who made his debut by winning the event that made Pain famous, Blizzard. Pain defended his title against Christian Lee at Genesis VII and won a hard fought contest. Then WBL came back into his life with a vengeance.
At Genesis VII Wild Bill Legend revealed that he had bought all of then co-owner of FWF Chris Sharp's shares in the company. Using his new found power WBL made Pain's match against Christian Lee into a two out of three falls no disqualification match. With some help from the son of Dan Taylor, "Dragonfly" Danny T, Pain overcame the odds to retain his championship.
However, Pain's trouble with WBL did not end. In an attempt to help Mike Farrell regain full control of FWF Pain led a team against a team of WBL, Sah'ta Thor and Christian Lee in a War Games match at WarZone VI. Injuries to Pain's teamates left him in a three on one situation, and, altough he managed to eliminate WBL and Sah'ta Thor, Pain eventually succumbed to Christian Lee who would win the FWF World Championship.
Pain has since received a promotion of sorts. The week after WarZone Pain revealed that he had secretly bought all of Mike Farrell's shares in FWF just after Genesis. He is now the new FWF Chairman. Only time will tell how his tenous partnership with co-owner WBL will go.

STRACHON: Ladies and gentlemen, we are back here at Jealousy and currently in the ring is FWF Hall of Fame member and my broadcast partner, Ernest "The Beast" Bethea.
BETHEA: Thanks, folks. Tonight is a very special night. It's a special night for wrestling, it's a special night for FWF and it's a special night for America. With that said, allow me to introduce my good friend ..."Captain" Joe Stall!
"Real American" by Rick Derringer plays. Slowly, Joe Stall enters the arena. He slowly makes his way down the ramp, shaking a few hands before getting into the ring.
BETHEA: Great to have you here, Joe.
STALL: It's great to be here, Ernest. It's great because tonight, we get to induct somebody into the most elite group in wrestling history.
BETHEA: As you all know, two years ago at FWF Jealousy III, I became the first ever inductee into the FWF Hall of Fame. Tonight, we make the fifth induction.
STALL: Since the dawn of FWF, there have been few people who stand out as the face of this company. This man is one of them.
BETHEA: Starting at the bottom, he shot up the rankings, picking up many victories and many titles, including multiple World Heavyweight Championship reigns.
STALL: As former champions, we recognise what it takes to be a champion. So, without further ado, allow us to introduce to you a real hardcore American. Pain!
Welcome to the Jungle plays as Pain comes riding out to the ring on his motorcycle looking slightly out of place in a fine Italian suit and sunglasses. He shakes hands with both Ernest and Joe before accepting the microphone and watching Ernest walk to the commentary table and take a seat next to Sam Strachon and watching Joe Stall walk back down the entrance ramp. He pauses for a minute and listens to the roar of the crowd. He tries to start speaking twice, but the crowd is too loud. Finally the quiet down a little.
PAIN: Thank you everyone. It’s wonderful to be here in New York City’s sixth borough. You’d think with the budget this place had they could have afforded to put my Hall of Fame Induction ceremony in my own town. But I suppose that after FWF went away for awhile Chris Sharp took over and tightened the belt. See Mike Farrell had class and style. He probably would have gotten us the Garden, or at least the Coliseum. Hell, if he were to put it in Jersey we’d at least be at Giant Stadium, home of the World Champion New York Giants. Instead we have Chris Sharp who has about half the style and none of the class of Mike. I’m kidding though, not about Chris Sharp of course, but I’m kidding about Jersey. I love New Jersey. I have a house here. They tell me it’s nice. And hey things could be worse. The Predator’s Hall of Fame Induction took place in the middle of nowhere while Thunder and Lighting got Old Trafford. I mean I like the first ever FWF Tag Team champions, but come on. Pred’s the second or third greatest wrestler of all time. He deserved better. Am I right?
The audience applauds in agreement as Pain continues his speech.
PAIN: I suppose I should really start with the thanks to the people who deserve it now, get this over with so you can watch some people actually do more then talk. First of course I’d like to thank my old (and I mean that in the nicest way) friends and partners Joe Stall and Ernest Bethea. The Chinese have incredible respect for their elders and I’d like to extend all the respect that they deserve to Joe and Ernest. Without them by my side in my early days as a wrestler here, who knows how my career might have turned out. Without their mentoring and friendship, I might not be here in front of you today.
BETHEA: I'm flattered.
STRACHON: He said you're old...
BETHEA: I'm still flattered
PAIN: Next I’d like to thank the first person in FWF that I ever picked a fight with, my greatest rival and the only person that I’d ever tolerate losing my last match in FWF to, the Predator. I walked right up to Mark and challenged him and what did he do? He offered me a Ladderjack match with Oz Van Dam. It never happened. I guess when I walked up to him that day he didn’t think I was worthy of sharing the ring with him. I can only hope I’ve changed his mind. Predator has been the man that I’ve measured myself as an equal to my entire career. It makes me incredibly happy to see how well he honors that belt that he wears. I got to see Predator backstage earlier tonight and got to give him a present to celebrate today's occasion. It was my pleasure to render him speechless with a guitar signed by his favorite Jersey Rocker...
STRACHON: I think I'm about to sneeze in my pants...
PAIN: Bruce Springsteen.
STRACHON: Aw, what? He got the wrong rocker.
PAIN: If Predator is the man that I think of as my equal, then the next man I need to thank is the man that far surpasses me, the man who far surpasses everyone here. He is the man that should truly be here in this ring going into the Hall of Fame. He’s the Superman of FWF. He’s the symbol of wrestling perfection that we all strive to be, and his name is Dan “Dragon” Taylor. We’ve been through a lot together, including being on the winning side of all three Collision matches. He’s a supreme talent and will always be the man I respect most in this business.
The crowd applause reaches thunderous proportions as a DDT chant starts. Pain waits for the crowd to quiet down before continuing.
PAIN: Next I would like to thank Camisado. He gave me the chance to do what Joe and Ernest did for me. He gave me the chance to be a mentor and help mould him into a true wrestling superstar. Sure he and I went separate ways, but I can only hope that he’s learned his lesson and I want him to know that I have no hard feelings any longer because I’ve learned mine to. If he was here right now I’d be proud to shake his hand.
STRACHON: Why's he thanking that loser?
BETHEA: Shush. It's his speech, not yours.
PAIN: I’d like to thank Ross Walker and James Bohne. They’re two dirty rotten bastards and don’t really deserve separate thanks, but I suppose beating them probably boosted my career in some way.
I’d like to thank X-ecutioner because every time I lost to him I got a little better. It’s a shame he lost to Couch Potato and left FWF in disgrace. I wouldn’t mind finally beating him one on one.
I’d like to thank Nerina Rivers, the best thing that ever happened to me. I was a fool to let her go, but I’m sure she’s off having a better life somewhere, maybe even with someone else. I just wanted to take a moment to tell her I was sorry.
The crowd let’s out a sweet aw sound.
PAIN: Now I wish I could thank everyone that deserves thanking individually, but I don’t have the time and I’m sure you don’t have the patience. So I’d like to thank just a few more people right now. I’d like to thank Don Lepore, Prozac, Ritalin, King of Kings, Wild Bill Legend, and El Mundo. Each and every one of you has had a hand in making me a better wrestler. Now that I’ve definitively surpassed you all I’d like to thank you. And Bert, I know you pinned me, stop calling my house to tell me about it.
STRACHON: That was a low point.
BETHEA: But he's had many, many high points.
PAIN: Finally I’d like to thank you fans. Without you guys I wouldn’t be here. As cliché as that sounds it’s true. I’d especially like to thank a specific group of fans. I’d like to you proud American fans, my first fans and the ones that mean the most to me. While I love all of my fans you people will always hold a special place in my heart. You are what makes America the greatest country in the world and make me the greatest wrestler in the world. Thank…
Suddenly "Gold" by Spandau Ballet plays on the PA as Chris Sharp comes out to a chorus of boos.
SHARP: Alright that’s enough. I’ve tolerated this snooze fest speech of yours because for some strange reason these idiots seem to like you. I even put up with you making fun of me, but I will not put up with your staunch anti-British propaganda.
PAIN: Hold on one minute, I wasn’t being anti any…
SHARP: To teach you a lesson. Prepare to get a beating from some prime British talent.
A dark red light surrounds the arena as "All My Life" by Foo Fighters plays and the crowd erupt in a cheer. That cheer is quickly replaced by boos when they realize that the person coming out is none other then badday. badday runs down to the ring as Pain undoes his tie. badday quickly slides into the ring and is met with a right hand that sends him bouncing against the ropes. As he bounces back toward Pain, Pain hits him with The Superkick. badday collapses to the ground and rolls out of the ring. A USA chant starts.
SHARP: I’m sorry of that little glitch caused any confusion for you. I’m working with American technicians.
As Pain glares down at Sharp, he fails to see the figure of DWI sliding into the ring behind him. He is carrying a bucket of water.
BETHEA: It’s DWI, and he’s got a bucket of water!
STRACHON: He’ll kill us all!
DWI splashes Pain in the back, causing him to drop his microphone in surprise. Pain turns around and looks at DWI. He removes his sunglasses. He slowly takes off his Italian suit jacket. He rips off his shirt. DWI looks at him and tries to run away, but Pain catches him near the ropes and drags him toward the turnbuckle. After banging his head against the turnbuckle a few times, Pain hits him with The Superkick and sends him over the ropes. Pain looks back at Sharp with a grin. Sharp’s face is quickly growing red.
SHARP: That’s it. Time for the secret weapon. Get out here!
Calaz comes out on crutches. He makes his way toward the ring, but ends up tripping and collapsing halfway down the ramp. The crowd laugh, but Sharp is not amused.
SHARP: Get him! Get him!
Sean Saviour emerges from backstage. He manages to make it into the ring and gets a few punches in on Pain, before Pain drops him with a clothesline. Sean gets up and Pain hooks him with a spinning DDT before lifting him into a snap suplex. Sean struggles to his feet, but Pain isn’t done. He hits Sean with a neckbreaker before picking him, up and tying Sean’s arms in the ring ropes. A dazed Sean opens his eyes just long enough to struggle before being nailed by The Superkick and sent out of the ring.
SHARP: Damn it! Get that zealot out of my ring!
This time Sausage and Bean come out, riding unicycles. They slide into the rings and Pain looks from one to the other. They attack Pain, at the same time, but Pain bats them both away and luckily hits them with a double clothesline over the ropes. Pain stops for a brief breather, but, to Sharp’s delight, All the men get to their feet and slide into the ring, surrounding Pain. Calaz even manages to crawl his way down. All the men surround Pain and attack at once. They seem to be over powering Pain, but with one swift motion Pain knocks them all away. All the men look at each other before attacking again. This time, they are interrupted by Camisado who comes running out from the crowd and quickly hits Calaz with the STPR before tossing him out of the ring. He then tosses Pain his lead pipe and together they clear the ring. Pain nails The Superkick on Sausage, and then Bean.
STRACHON: I’m retiring.
Camisado quickly spears Sean Saviour and then DWI. Pain picks Saviour up and easily tosses him out of the ring. As DWI staggers toward him, Pain hits him with The Superkick. DWI falls out of the ring. That leaves only badday. Pain and Camisado take turns punching him before Pain nails The Superkick and sends badday into a STPR from Cam. Together they lift badday and toss him out over the ropes. Triumphant, Pain looks down at an incredibly angry and embarrassed Chris Sharp. As Sharp prepares to leave defeated, Joe Stall comes running back out with a large American Flag in his hand. As the USA chant grows louder, he knocks Sharp over and climbs into the ring. He hands the flag to Pain who ascends the turnbuckle and waves it proudly. Camisado then picks up the microphone and hand it to him.
PAIN: Hey Sharp! I’ve got one thing to say to you.
Pain pauses for a second and looks at the two men in the ring with him and then at the crowd. He smiles.
PAIN: America, Fuck yeah!
Pain jumps off the turnbuckle still proudly waving the flag as Welcome to the Jungle begins to play.
BETHEA: Spoken like a true American.
STRACHON: I find this kind of blatant patriotism disgusting.
BETHEA: You can’t fault the man for loving his country.
STRACHON: I think I just did.
