FWF Debut: April 2004 Date Inducted: 1st March 2008 Title History: - FWF Tag Team Championships - FWF Jealousy Tournament Winners The team of Jack Thunder and Johnny Lightning were the pioneers of the tag team division, striking the hearts of the fans like no other team could do.
In 2004, FWF debuted a new pay-per-view concept to Stampede TV. It was to be an elimination style tag team tournament. The winners would make those teams that failed turn green with envy.
Defeating all of FWF’s top teams including the Enemy, two teams made it to the final: Thunder ‘N’ Lightning and their opponents, The Army, “Captain” Joe Stall’s stable consisting of “The Saviour” Chris Knite and “General” Jack Cool.
Thunder took out Knite with the Charge, allowing Lightning to hit Cool with the Electric Chair Drop for the cover. The dynamic duo had won the first Jealousy tournament, now FWF’s proudest event. Not only that, but they became the first ever FWF Tag Team Champions.
Due to backstage issues later on in the year, TNL found themselves released from their contracts. However, in 2006, two years after inventing the tag team division, they returned.
Instantly recovering their fan favourite status, the team found themselves competing for the belts again, to little success when Lightning became injured. Thunder carried on his legacy, attempting to wrestle as a single’s Warrior, proving that he didn’t need his bigger partner to win.
Not long after, Jack Thunder retired alongside his partner, but their names will never be forgotten. Whenever the fans discuss the greatest tag teams in wrestling, Thunder ‘N’ Lightning are instantly mentioned. FWF was proud to induct Jack Thunder and Johnny Lightning as the first members in the tag team wing of the FWF Hall of Fame.

Jenkins Ladies and gentlemen, please rise for the first Hall of Fame inductee ...Ernest "The Beast" Bethea!
The Original Horseman theme plays and the crowd begin to cheer as Bethea stands up and takes off his headset. He then walks around the Live-Wire commentary table and climbs into the ring where he is handed a microphone.
BETHEA: Ladies and gentlemen, we are live in Manchester, England at FWF Genesis V!
With that announcement, the cheers begin to grow louder and louder and an "FWF" chant begins.
BETHEA: Now, I'm sure you all know why I'm in the ring. Since I came to FWF, I was on top. I've had the Genesis moment like so many others have head ahead of me and I've been World Heavyweight Champion.
STRACHON: Who can forget him beating the late great Alan Foulds in the main event of Genesis II?
BETHEA: But, I've also had my fair share of tag team glory. In 2005, the Real Deal was the fastest growing stable in FWF. The tag team aspect of it was me and my good friend, "Captain" Joe Stall. We went on to win the FWF Tag Team Championships and are now known as one of the most legendary tag teams in the history of wrestling.
STRACHON: Pfft, they're no Breakfast Table.
BETHEA: However, we are not THE most legendary tag team in wrestling. So, without further ado... ladies and gentlemen, please give it up for the first Tag Team inductees into the FWF Hall of Fame ...the team of Jack Thunder and Johnny Lightning ...Thunder 'N' Lightning!
The lights in the arena dim as the sound of thunder roars throughout the arena. The crowd begin to cheer in anticipation, when all of a sudden, a lightning bolt crashes down at the titantron area. "Open Their Eyes" by Alter Bridge plays and Thunder and Lightning make their way out into the arena.
STRACHON: And there they are. Jack Thunder and Johnny Lightning.
They stand at the top of the ramp, both in black suits with dark, blue shirts and bright yellow ties. After a moment, the duo begin to walk down the ramp, shaking the hands of fans as they pass. They then climb into the ring and shake Bethea's hand.
STRACHON: This has got to be such a privilege for both men.
Bethea hands over the microphone and returns to his seat at the commentary booth. A "TNL" chant starts as Thunder and Lightning look out at the cheering crowd.
BETHEA: What a rush.
LIGHTNING: Well, what can I say? We first came into FWF in 2004 and at the first ever Jealousy event, we defeated the Army, Chris Knite and Jack Cool... in the final of the Jealousy Tournament to become the first ever FWF Tag Team Champions.
THUNDER: Things really took off from there. There wasn't a single tag team in FWF that could touch us. We'd like to thank Jack Cool, who unfortunately couldn't be here tonight as well as "The Saviour" Chris Knite. We'd like to thank you for sucking so badly and giving us an easy win.
STRACHON: Now that was uncalled for. They can't say that.
BETHEA: They're HoFers now... they can say whatever they want.
LIGHTNING: We'd also like to thank Mike Farrell for signing our contracts and giving us an amazing opportunity.
At the mention of Mike's name, the crowd begin to cheer. A "CMF" chant begins. Thunder and Lightning wait for the cheering to die down, but it only changes into an "FWF" chant.
BETHEA: A show of respect to Manchester's own "Chairman" Mike Farrell.
LIGHTNING: FWF! FWF! FWF!
THUNDER: But we don't make FWF. Mike Farrell created it, but he doesn't make it. Nobody backstage makes it. The true FWF is sat in each and every one of these seats in the arena. We would like to thank you, the fans.
LIGHTNING: Without your support, we wouldn't be here today.
STRACHON: Get me a bucket.
THUNDER: Our time in the ring has come to an end, but FWF will continue to grow.
LIGHTNING: It has officially taken you in the New Direction.
THUNDER: So sit back and relax as Fantasy Wrestling Federation proves why we are taking the world by storm. Thank you.
"Cochise" by Audioslave, the official Genesis V theme music, begins to play as Thunder and Lightning ascend opposite turnbuckles to a cheering crowd.
BETHEA: There you have it, folks. Thunder 'N' Lightning.
