LEGEND: Welcome one and all to Monday Night Rampage. Legend and Briggs here at ringside.
LEGEND: And let's talk about our main event. What a strange one this'll be.
LEGEND: Champion and challenger will team together as the Heavyweight World champion, Camisado and rival "The" Ross Walker must put their differences aside when they take on the new team of 420.
LEGEND: We also have two qualifying matches for the TV title gauntlet at BlackOut.
LEGEND: But first, Prozac and Jackson finally meet in the ring.
The lights in the arena fade out abruptly as a steady bass throb begins, growing in volume, sounding much like a heartbeat. A series of gunshots shatter the silence, followed by a piercing scream, and then the sounds of "Lies" by Evanescence filters through the speakers. Red lights pulse along the ramp as the video begins, depicting blood and violence, showing clips of Jackson in various hardcore matches. The crowd begins to boo as the metal music pounds over the speakers. The image on the screen changes to a turbulent, stormy sky above a windswept desert wasteland; lightning crackling, thunder booming in perfect counterpoint to the music. A dark point far off in the distance, growing nearer... a black stallion. The dark horse charges across the desert, his nostrils flaring, foam dripping from his lips, a look of fierce determination in brown eyes that gleam reddish as the lightning courses across the sky.
CHARLES: The following match scheduled is for one fall. Making his way to the ring...
Suddenly the horse stops and rears, the footage burning away as though acid was dropped on the reel. Darkness replaced it, and then blood dripped down from the top of the screen, forming these words: “I AM THE DARKNESS… FEAR ME.” He walks out onto the ramp, his head down, his upper body bare. He's dressed in a pair of tight black leather pants and his usual black wrestling boots, a black leather duster is worn open over his bare, powerful chest. He makes his way down to the ring with singular focus and intensity, his attention is never on the fans, even though he is aware of their reaction. Jackson steps into the ring and peels off the long leather coat, dropping it from the ring.
CHARLES: From Chicago, Illinois ...Jackson!
The lights go pretty dim as the Fight Like This hits the P.A. A spotlight shines down to the middle of the stage, after a few seconds Prozac walks out and stands in the light. He waits there for a few seconds and looks all over the crowd then stares at the ring. He raises one hand and beats on his chest with the other hand as the lights turn back on to normal he then starts walking towards the ring. Prozac slides into the ring and ascends the turnbuckle, where he gets on the second rope raising one arm and beating his chest with the other one.
CHARLES: And his opponent, from Cornwall, New York ...weighing in at 234 pounds ...Prozac!
Both men stare at each other before locking up in the middle of the ring. Prozac breaks away and goes for an uppercut, but Jax catches his arm and wrenches it into a tight wristlock. With some effort, Prozac manages to flip Jackson over his back and places him in a headlock. Before long, Jax climbs to his feet, with Prozac’s headlock still locked in. He spins around and hits Prozac with a spinebuster before locking in a figure-four-leglock. Prozac lets out a howl of pain and tries desperately to break Jackson’s hold, but is unable to. He tries to make it to the ropes, but Jackson pulls him away from them and closer to the center of the ring. Unable to make it to the ropes, Prozac does the only other thing he can think of. With a lot of effort he manages to flip Jackson over locks in a sharpshooter. Without so much as an acknowledgement to any pain he might be feeling, Jackson slowly inches his way toward the ropes. When it’s Prozac’s turn to pull him toward the center of the ring, Jackson’s face gives a hint of discomfort. Left with no other choice, Jackson simply powers out of the move and sends Prozac into the ropes. Prozac bounces off the ropes and Jackson floors him with a big boot.
LEGEND: This match certainly has started out well. What a technical spectacle!
BRIGGS: Meh. I’ve seen better.
LEGEND: Nothing impresses you does it?
BRIGGS: Not true. I’ll be impressed when Jackson wins.
Jackson picks Prozac up and lifts him into a powerbomb position. As Prozac is on Jackson’s shoulders he begins to punch him repeatedly. Jackson stumbles over to the turnbuckle. Prozac jumps onto the turnbuckle, and then jumps off, hitting Jax with a bulldog.
LEGEND: You have to admit that that was impressive.
BRIGGS: Mildly, yes.
Prozac jumps off the ropes and quickly hits Jax with a spinning legdrop. He covers. ...1. Jackson violently tosses Prozac off of him. He jumps to his feet and picks Prozac up. As Prozac tries to make it to his feet, Jackson catches him and throws him through the middle rope. Prozac crashes to the floor. Jackson slowly climbs between the ropes and waits for Prozac to stand before jumping off the apron and hitting him with an elbow.
LEGEND: Both men are outside the ring.
BRIGGS: Oi, these never end well.
LEGEND: Oi?
BRIGGS: I thought I’d try it on.
LEGEND: It’s not working for you.
Prozac leans against the barricade. As Jackson charges at him, he manages lift a leg for Jackson to run into. ...1. Jackson stumbles backward, and Prozac spears him into the steel ring post. ...2 ...3. Prozac follows up by going to Irish whip Jackson into the steel steps, but Jackson counters with a clothesline. ...4. Jackson picks Prozac up and slowly brings him toward the steel steps. ...5. He slowly climbs the steps and lifts Prozac into a piledriver position. ...6. Prozac breaks free and hits Jax with a drop-toe-hold into the barricade. ...7. As Jax springs backward, Prozac hits him with a reverse bulldog into the steel steps. ...8. Prozac rolls Jax into the ring.
LEGEND: Prozac has gained the advantage.
BRIGGS: He’ll lose it. He’s such a mench.
LEGEND: Will you cut that out?
Prozac waits for Jax to get up and then goes for a crossbody. Jackson catches him and turns it into a spinning powerslam.
BRIGGS: Now that was impressive!
LEGEND: Oi.
Jax gets to his feet, still holding the limp Prozac, and nails another powerslam. He covers. ...1 …2. Prozac manages to get his foot on the ropes.
LEGEND: After all that, Prozac still manages to survive.
BRIGGS: Not for long. I think Jax means business now.
Jackson goes for another powerslam, but Prozac reverses it into a DDT. He quickly covers. ...1. Jackson kicks out easily, sending Prozac back on the offensive. Prozac bounces off of the ropes and dropkicks Jax as he tries to make it to his feet. He covers again. ...1 …2. Jackson kicks out once more.
BRIGGS: Prozac’s getting desperate.
LEGEND: He’s just trying to win.
BRIGGS: It’ll take more than that to win.
Prozac signals for the MedPlant as Jackson is slowly getting up. Suddenly, Couch Potato makes his way out. He begins to run down the ramp, but is spotted by Prozac. As Couch gets to the bottom, Prozac uses the ropes to elevate him over with a crossbody to the outside. ...1
LEGEND: It's the UK champion, Couch Potato!
Trent Brown enters the arena. ...2 ...3 ...4. He runs down the ramp and picks Couch up before giving him a right hand. The two begin to brawl as Prozac watches. ...5 ...6 ...7.
BRIGGS: I can't believe these four men are gonna meet in the ring at BlackOut.
Prozac gets up on the apron. He is about to get back into the ring, but Jackson big boots him off the apron and back to the ring floor. ...8 ...9 ...10. The bell sounds.
CHARLES: The winner of the match via countout ...Jackson!
LEGEND: Could that man right there be UK champion after next week?
BRIGGS: Of course he could.
LEGEND: What a way to open the show. More great action to come... right after this.
